Sarvjeet Singh Bedi and his lawyer Amish Aggarwala: What happened at the trial (Hindi)

  • The public was up in arms against an innocent man on 23rd of August, 2015 when a woman thought that she could use India's recent introductions to women protection laws to her advantage and falsely accused him of sexually harassing her.
The only evidence to hold him guilty was a facebook post of a picture of him on his bike.
After a nightmare lasting four long years, Sarvjeet was finally acquitted.
Sarvjeet and his lawyer Amish Aggarwala in this video discuss:
    1. What transpired at the trial
    2. The social stigmas he suffered
    3. How he was able to collect evidence in his favour and how any person falsely accused of an offence can do the same.
    4. The reality of oppressive laws of India where an accused is presumed guilty until proven innocent.
    5. Stories of men affected by false accusations of dowry harassment, sexual harassment, rape, etc.

This case should be taught in law schools with every minute detail especially in regard to the CrPC. Amish Sir, you are the real example of "lawyers are there to fight for justice." And the most important thing I love about Amish Sir is how he does not miss any opportunity to praise his juniors. Not just here, but I have been following quite sometime in Instagram, where he regularly puts insta stories about his interns and juniors and praising them. Well, only law students and first generation lawyers will relate to this. Thank you so much Sir. There is so much to learn from you. Hope to work with you some day. ❤️

@HARRY POTTER AND CURSED CHILD I understand how defamation suits work. Sarvajeet already has lot of proofs for his defamation..even social media post is a big proof of defamation, there were many media trials where he was defamed..there are so many proofs...it's difficult to prove defamation but it's not impossible. If someone has already dragged you to court for no reason, isn't it worthy to drag that person back to court so that she also feels some pressure to visit the court for every hearing.

    Hey Amish,
Somehow youtube recommended me your videos and I am sooooo thankful for it. Really great content. Law is such a nieche topic and often misunderstood with crary wordplay and you are dumbing it down for normal people like us. Obviously SUBSCRIBED !! thanks again !!
