- F1 champion Kimi Räikkönen in action with his Citroen DS3 WRC on the slippery tarmac roads of special-stage 2 Grafschaft Veldenz during the opening day of WRC Rallye Deutschland 2011.
"yes yes yes you don't have to remind me every second"
Compared to Samir's version : Shatap yaar!
HAHAHA
Haha... lol. Classic Kimi❤
Shut your mouth up! I know what I'm doing!
Lol
Looks like kimi had turned off co-driver sound because he knows what he's doing.
Lmaoooo , leave me alone!!
No, it sounds and seems co-pilot is late and scared. Not me in this car, F-1 driver or not. Holy shit! And Kimi with psycho eyes... Tea for me, yes milk please. I already soiled my pants.
Wow this comment aged well
That’s good, because the driver’s name was not “Samir” or somewhat....
Well, term "Co-Driver" is not correct (IMO), he does not drive. They navigate, that's why correct term is navigator.
At least this time they gave him a steering wheel
yeeaahh !! Thank you ...
And gloves 🤭🤭🤭
700th like
What about the drink?
@@ricobrown6630 he is driving for drink tho see redbull
I want to see Kimi race in WRC again but with Giovinazzi as his co-driver
"wow wow wow Kimi! Kimi! ******"
Gio would get sick again
Gio:wow wow kimi,brek brek😂
I'm surprised he didn't tell his co-driver to "leave him alone because he knows what he's doing"
+Nicholas Bainbridge it's impossible in rallying. Kaj Lindstrom would leave him immediately if kimi said so
Christijan mArv Point taken
Yup. No way that you will remember all those curves m8
Nah, he Did Fine and he had a guy who spoke finnish as well. So no needless talk.
Unlike samir
0:13 gloves ✓ steering wheel ✓ → Kimi is happy
🚫drink
@@nathansharma87 that's waiting at the finish
It sounds as if the passenger is performing an exorcism.
What if I told you that Kimi had the co-driver muted and the co-driver was just casting ancient spells in Finnish.
😂😂😂😂😂
What's the matter, first time you've watched a rally?
hahaha
lmfaooooo
Why was this recommended to me after his amazing semi-wet first lap at Portimao
same here
God bless youtube algorithm
Yes man

Looks like when Kimi has his drink, gloves and steering wheel, magic happens.
Back when Nokia was a big thing !
Kimi was already an F1 Champ !
Hamilton only had 1 F1 Title
Alonso trying his best to get the Ferrari Tractor a Title !
Schumacher had already come back from ret. to drive for Merc !!
Times have changed ..
Kimi also has 1 world championship
Ferrari still a tractor
Iphone existed when kimi became world champion.
Was good times. When the world made sense. Before high treason was allowed and use covid as a scapegoat.
Things used to be different than they are now. More at 11.
Kim has so much energy. Must have had his Bwoahtwurst that morning.
Or the Finnish Bwoahkkara
Imagine getting Kimi as an Uber driver: "I know a short cut down some country lanes"
KIMI finished 6th in this race - this was his LAST WRC run ever also.
This man had "Big balls" . "I am a F1 driver then I go to WRC".
Of course he knews "There is 'monsters' there and will not explode them, but I will try".
Respect for this man who decided to see what he could do on rallye even it was not at all what he did at start.
Finnish language is impossible to comprehend.
fvhitman4hire Tiedän oikein
Good!! It's a privilege having a language you can have any kind of discussion in without anybody having the faintest clue what you're talking about. :)
Not until you can speak it!
Paul Allen Finnish is the mutt of languages
And then there's Estonian.
Real talk, tho, it's interesting to see how Kimi tackles this with such a "clean" driving style as opposed to more flamboyant rally drivers who look go through every corner sideways.
I haven't really watched any rally, but I have to wonder if driving with such a clean style is more conducive to successful stage completion and minimal time loss. The more flamboyant you are, the more right on the knife's edge of losing control you are, the more likely you are to wreck and not finish the stage (or even the rest of the rally).
Obviously it's the more flamboyant drivers rally fans love to watch, but it's the more controlled drivers like Kimi that finish every single stage every single time.
@@calyodelphi124 I don't think he got close to winning anything in rally though, he is still a beast of course but when drifting you rotate better through corners which means you can accelerate sooner out of them
@@racebug6134 i think ur right but accelerating when you're still sideways does tend to be a bit difficult
Really? He’s driving much slower than needed here but that could be the co drivers fault. Rally drivers go sideways because sliding on dirt is much faster. Sliding on tarmac isn’t but there are some turns where you need to do that to change the weight balance if the car. This “clean” style is hurting him. It’s very very slow
I don't know, but German rally is usually a tarmac rally. So there's not much use for being sideways all the time. It's a different thing on gravel to keep the speed going.
Love kimi he tried straightlining every corner
CZcams: "Hey, wanna see Kimi consuming rally tracks like how he consumes ice cream?"
Me: *I'm in.*
Kimi in rally listening co-driver instructions "just leave me alone, i know what to do!"
Co-driver : Long Left 30 meters into 2 sharp and careful it's slippery"
Kimi : FOR WHAAAAAAAT???
Co-driver : 😶
Not bad for a F1 driver.
He's finnish ... Rally is how they learn driving over there
@Krosis19 yes because you are cityboys
But if you compare him with a Seb Loeb... he doesn't stand a chance
Rotten Apple Yeah but how do you think Loeb would do in a F1 car? Especially one from 2004?
@SilverArrow_xxx eeehh idk. I think rally requires a completely different skillset from formula racing. In formula racing you're nonstop looking for the line and monitoring the driverd around you in order to find oppurtunities to pass, rallying tests your ability to juggle 3 or more things at once.
I guarantee that Kimi is leaps and bounds better at rally driving than anyone talking trash about him. F1 Drivers can drive! Any pro race driver can drive the hell out of pretty much any vehicle you put them in. Schumacher was the Stig for Top Gear and he put all those cars to the test. And yeah Kimi might not be finishing in the top 5 in rally right now but with his driving skill sets, he stands a good chance of making a respectable name for himself in the sport.
really weel sayed
Schumacher was not the stig. He was just there for one episode.
He's going after his drink
“Kimi you’re breaking the car”
“Shaddup”
He even overtakes Felipe Nasr with a slide!!! He's awesome!!
timestamp?
@@plasma_659 they mean in the 2016 Hungarian GP, he overtook Nasr while going sideways into the corner
@@nathant8951 ohhh, ok, thanks man
It's almost cute how organized a German logging operation is @ 3:57 " every log must be precisely 3m long, and stacked perfectly"
Idk, but i think everywhere is like this - 2.5m 3m logs stacked like this. At least in my country.
Much much easier to handle that way
@@Mikulis1000 not in El Salvador
He doesn't blink.
after that Alfa romeo ad, i think Kimi might take Antonio as his co-pilot in rallying after he retires
"just leave me alone i know what i'm doing"
Wait is this Kimi like "Bwoah" Kimi?
Yes
Yes. The one running in P6 yesterday
Yes the youngest driver on the grid
F1 drivers be like: GRIP GRIP GRIP
Superb driving!
As a rally driver, I can see that Kimi is a racing driver. Just different techniques needed.
To be good at one discipline takes years so for people to expect someone to race at F1 level and be a god tier rally driver seems a bit much
I'm interested what techniques you pinned as race driving habits? He did seem to apex quite early but I don't know what I'm talking about
@@Playboigorti8574 Well spotted, yes he is apexing early, not leaving room to see what's further around the corner, and pushing himself wide on exit.
Kimi on his way to get the drink

LISTEN TO MY CALLS KIMI!!!
Kimi : shaadup don't tell me how to drive.
hes more for safety then speed :)
what a such legend
I would like you do a documentary on Kimi like you did for Henri Toivonen. I am a big Kimi fan.
MAN. This is awesome how blatant he is as Fomula 1 driver.
I would give up one very special thing for a ride-along on this race with Kimi.
His eyes when he’s driving...so angry 😡😂
I'd say he's just concentrating.
Kimi was legend

The true tarmac specialist.
Ok Kimi, 200, 5 right over crest, 6th into long left, opens.
Yes yes shut up I know what I'm doing.
Very good style f1 man, kimi is talent
I just love it when F1 fanboys say that g-forces in f1 are higher, hence f1 drivers are absolutely better. According to that logic, fighter jet pilots and astronauts are better drivers that f1 drivers. Let that sink in.
I would love to see Hamilton trying to go 180+kmh in a Finnish rally stage

Masterpiece!
That red bull outfit suits Kimi well 😇
@robrobinson831 Schumacher was never the Stig though, the interview was just a joke/publicity
It was an exclusive Ferrari, and they (Ferrari) wouldn’t let anyone drive it, but Schumacher. You could even predict that because the car was black.
Aikamoista menoa. Ihan oikeesti miettii kartturin nuotteja ja niiden mukaan ajamista. Omg 😱
He has the same name as the F1 driver.... Wonder does he know him? 🤔
Hmm 🤔
🤔
🤔
bloody finns, they can drive anything, anywhere, at any time and on any surface. why is this?!!
they're nuts risking not coming home every time they get in a car. but kudos kimi. at least he has his gloves and steering wheel. can't see a drink though...
I believe Finnish drivers may be a bit better than most (only in general of course) mainly because we have 4 very different seasons, the weather changes so much so often. There's also extremely slippery conditions tests etc. in regular driving schools, they're mandatory to pass or you don't get a license. Pretty much the only thing we don't have is like +40C conditions, but then again hot weather is the easiest to drive in.
Just curious, does anyone know if Kimi still rallies while he isn't racing in Formula 1?
Ah ok. Nice to see some drivers are still involved in other sports not just f1 :)
His countryman Bottas still does
Kimi is actually just rushing to get a drink
😮😮 UUUURRAAAAA!!!!! Esse Piloto é..... Isto é Uma Pista para....( Vocês Decidem !!)

No run-off areas there. Wonder what Hamilton or Verstappen would do if put in WRC cars?

I thought I broke my speakers... 😁
I want the opportunity to try this out some day...
It’s been 7 years, any luck?
@@Kvpsbv very random haha, unfortunately not, the closest I got was driving a Subaru Impreza WRX
There is one cost-efficient way. Buy Dirt Rally 2.0 for example, then get yourself a steering wheel controller. Logitech G29 (PS4/PC) or G920 (Xbox/PC) is a decent wheel for this.
It is not exactly the same as the real thing, but it is the closest you can get in home environment. Without buying a half-million car, of course.
Even better is building a go kart with a roll cage, and have the real experience at the cost of peanuts (well relatively)
Fear? My ass.... the man makes money from racing ... what do you do for living?
Even the car sounds like kimi
He's just cruising 😂😂
amazing!
No Kimi you will not have the drink
Did he had the drink?
Kimi chacha ka BHAUKAAL hai be !!!!

coole Sache!
@JohnMysterio619 Alonso daría un respiro económico a los equipos, lo contrario que el manazas este, que con los gastos en destrozos que tiene se eliminaria gran parte de la crisis mundial
These cars sound as if they are constantly falling apart😅
The only thing he says during the drive is "Vittu"
Yeah but where Is the drink?
