@@peterporkeresq.2817 No you don't. If you don't throttle, you're just a passenger until the car stops. You can't control where it goes. If you throttle, you can control it.

In an RWD car you let off the gas, but in a FWD car you steer straight and give full beans, in a 4WD car you point where you want to go and mash it as well. Look at WRC or old Group B footage of 4WD cars on loose surfaces and you'll see what I mean

yep, normal people would freak out at that point but hes been in way faster cars and crashed at much higher speeds so he for sure knew the impact wouldn't do much esp since they are all belted up. but still he was so chill about it lol.

@@PlatinumAgar well yeah clearly then it is necessary but i doubt this dude above had a broken clutch. he probably has a broken gearbox now tho
It is not that difficult with modern cars. The ecu which is the engine control unit actually automatically adds more throttle when the revs drop too low to keep the engine from stalling. Being smooth with the clutch helps and having engine with good amount of torque at lower rpms helps as well but in a normal car the ecu adjusts for it automatically. In older cars with smaller engines it is not possible because the engine simply dies no matter how smoothly you do it.
@@mwheezee shifting is one thing (going from 2nd to 3rd for example)...
but starting from a complete stop is something completely different

@@omar53333 ‘beat Hamilton and alonso’? Nah he just got lucky that year. Lewis and Alonso would destroy kimi in similar cars. Lewis cracked up kimi in 08, especially in spa when kimi couldnt handle it and cracked 🤣. Then cracked even more in 2014 and was demolished by alonso. That’s a defeat, not some lucky fluke that got him the title. Best moments in f1, seeing kimi demolished and swept by actual f1 legends.
