The difference is f1 cars are fast but has a lot of grip aka pretty much stable unlike road cars who are fast but not have a lot of grip that's why f1 driver are scared of regular sport car than the f1 cars also the fact that the f1 cars are pretty tune to their respective drivers

Basically the season so far in a nutshell. Daniel struggles to get to grips in the new car. Gets shown a blue flags for another McLaren. Manages to crack a smile still. Gets better.
I think this was filmed before the start of the season, so if anything it is indicative of the season ahead!

to be fair I can understand him. F1 cars have a lot of downforce and grip, these street cars are nowhere near. However, in terms of performance, they are a lot closer, so overall it requires a totally different driving style

@@un6250 But not much results. Zak in fact has many race wins in his pocket and was still racing just before he took up the mantle at McLaren AND still racing as of now so real racing experience wise, he's way more qualified than any team principal now on the grid.
Not even Toto can fight him in that regard.

Anyway, great film, the Mercedes one was better organised, but these guys are all about having fun, so I’ll let that go. Zack is way too cool….

@@Gollas4k I get that sense as well, tough but very fair, and keeps it light whenever possible. Just helps creat a good atmosphere, but also makes sure everything runs as smoothly as possible. He's doing a fantastic job!

720S isn't a great beast to drive in the wets anyway and I actually don't blame Danny for not even trying to win in the 720S and when a car allows you to edit your drift angle and when you're known to be fun, you'll take the chance and drift it of course.

I met Zak at COTA a couple years ago and he's exactly the person you would hope him to be.....super friendly/funny/down to earth
That makes me happy. He seems like a genuinely good guy, but seem to be able to be strict and can put his foot down when it's needed. Tough but very fair. That's what you want in a boss.
