In case anyone is wondering why he held the Maxx "C" for so long in his hand it's because Dark World is one of the few decks that can guaranteedly deck you out if you shoot Maxx "C" too early.
That's make sense, he know it that the other one has card D
What amazed me was triple tactics talent by sent the monster to opponent to activate it effect 😅
Dark world can deck out anyways under maxx "C" but the player don't summoned Apollousa and died to ash
i just got match up against dark world this day and i almost got deck out i only have 2 last card in my deck, luckily i banish his card of destruction using kashtira riseheart so he cant deck me out but damn he really can summon 30+ time
@@zoaero yeah. And you can't even be sure of the timing since the player can end up making an early Apollousa if the rng works well enough for it. The problem is that they can summon so much and then throw in Card of Destruction and finish you off by deck out on their own turn, ofc you can still win depending on what handtraps you play and the ratios, if you play Droll and Lock Bird and draw it then you will only lose to deck out if you aren't smart and let him play CoD before you activate Droll.
I like the OTK fusion, reminds me of Lunalight battle effects! Also that game vs the Dark World player was... spooky to say the least lol

@@izsan9070 i think its the fact that they showed how you can win vs pretty difficult strats. most deck showcase videos out there always show them playing up against dark magician or some super low tier deck or resolving maxx "c" and winning. it's nice that they showed how to play into tough meta relevant matchups and situations and a calamity lock.
I love when the packs consists of more UR than SR or lower. Because that makes total sense.
And then when you go for a 10 pull on those selection packs, you're lucky to get more than 1 if any.
And then the game procedes to only give you 1 or 2 when you go for a 10 pull because ofc it does.
@@StarlightMagician I remember when 5 or 6 thousand gems would get you a archetype deck, now I'm lucky if I can even pull 3 starters in 5 to 6 thousand.

Anyone else notice how lately only the bad cards have been getting animations? Like the Tistina Xyz or the Nightmare magician, even a while back when they gave the wrong Purrely an animation.
They usually push the "main" card of the archetype as the animation one. Purrely's case makes sense (Ex Happiness is the ultimate form of Purrely). It just so happens that the alternative version (Ex Noir) is more popular due to its effect.
Nothing like playing a fun bad deck when it feels hated by the company.

I mean at least Nightmare Magician's animation isn't totally useless, cuz as a one-of in Chimera Branded it can still find a use.

I know that Spyral player used several loans to make that deck. They have a royal Quik-fix, Master plan, Sleeper, Resort, Double helix, and Secret agent.
All to get Maxx c'd three times
Glad this deck has entered the arena. Even as Branded Chimera may not the tippiest top tier deck it is a fun F and Find Out deck.

Deck looks likely to bricking on hand traps but has decent potential, especially with FTKs

that spyral duel was really flex taping with those royal rares, which is very low chance to begin with..
everytime i play dark world i just settup lucent in hand and fusion grapha on the field, chain the fusion monster asap discard lucent summon ido on your opponent side of the field ez. Super easy to do if you ever draw ido just go into Saryuja shuffle it back.

We all know why.
Snake eye ash is a combo starter for Snake eyes. Mirror Swordknight, Ash Blossom, Veil can all negate it. Cornfield Coatl negates Promethean Princess. Chimera Fusion being a quick spell fusion is another bonus.

The two main deck URs should have been SR, the deck is just not good enough for the UR tax.

The new Gaia cards aren't really supported by the archetype because they don't have "Gaia the Fierce Knight" in their names.

You wanna make this competitive then run a branded engine with the illusion engine. Since their also fiends the fusions pop off on the Chimera cards with branded fusion ect.

To me the Branded version is better to me.
Cost is 3.5, yet the specific archetype is about 12 specifc 3-of URs (not to mention the handtraps), ans your entire decklist has only 3 N/R cards (one a tech for I:P, the other 2 Polys).

Why does this deck have so many URs? Like seriously, every realease, if you need the card for the deck to even be functional, it’s a UR. I swear, before, UR was reserved for boss monsters, generally strong cards, and the recognizable anime cards. Now you can expect at least half your engine to be UR (if not the entire engine) And is it just me or have the pull rates for URs decreased as well??
