NO I was thinking Green since that is all those contractors are looking at right now, what I don't understand is why is there only construction company working on building the homes of Maui why aren't there more, there is enough construction here on Oahu every time I look out into Honolulu there condos being built, I say stop the construction being built on Oahu and shift all the man power and jobs to Maui, the more construction companies working there and building new homes the quicker Lahaina will get back on it's feet, no brains what so ever.
I lost my home in a wildfire in Santa Barbara. All of our emergency response plans went to hell when the wind blew at 70 miles an hour and the humidity was 6%. The insurance companies and the local permitting authorities said we are here to help, in the newspapers.... But in reality they all sucked, and it took four years to rebuild. Lahaina is doing great my measurement!

the County should offer Lahaina Residents a choice of Free Plans! this is what Butte County, California is doing for their Fire Victims! fire victims also pay A Low Down on their permits and are given two years to pay it OFF! if this can be done for fire victims from the paradise fire, it can also be done for the Lahaina Residents, homeowners need to demand it! California also has grant money available for Landscape mitigation to cut weeds, Brush, Trees! how come Lahaina doesn't have any of this? isn't there any educated people that run Maui County, these people in the planning department and housing should already know about this, Maui county has already been working with Butte County! 😮😮😮😮

They show all the progress that has happened and now the reality is sinking in. Those that have foundations poured and structures going up are all the ONES THAT CAN AFFORD TO REBUILD. A general contractor and someone who has many many ties with people. Try showing the "grandma and grandpa" or families that lost their generational housing start rebuilding. We cannot because majority of us was "UNDERINSURED" and the daunting task of having to start all over on insurance monies that not even going to help, makes you really think-are they really wanting us to rebuild or to SELL???... I am in my 50's and the house I lived in was underinsured. Do I really need to take out a 15-30 year mortgage again to rebuild which was MY FAMILY HOUSE??? Really???
Just how much money was offered to the residents of Lahaina that lost their homes to this tragic fire and what about the ones that didn't have insurance or couldn't afford fire insurance.
They want the residents to give up! They couldn't get out because police set up ROADBLOCKS, remember? They were told to go back the way they came from, but ALL people who did died. Many others who waited for cops to let them through also died! I have also heard the mayor/city council wouldn't let insurance adjustors in to take photos of damage! Causing delays on or preventing insurance payouts to people who still had mortgage notes on homes that no longer existed AND had rent. They wouldn't allow property owners to live on their own land in a mobile home, trailer or tent, threatening arrest! It's land grabbing! The victims are being treated so badly! PLEASE do a real investigative report on that! 😢😢😢
Some of that $175 Billion to Ukraine could've taken care of the rebuild of Lahaina.

The Hawaii TOTALITARIAN REGIME control freaks. Japan has many cities and neighborhoods that are 500 - 1,000 years old with narrow streets built before cars were invented. They make do with what they have. Firewalls between properties may help.
Send financial aid for the people in mill camp. Have a plan and get it going so that people can rebuild.
Police Chief Pelletier couldn't even Figure out how to get all the Kahua Camp Residents help the day of the Fire! 42 People died on Kahua Street that afternoon, Because Pelletier never scheduled in extra officers that day, he ordered officers to do a time consuming Door to Door evacuation of Two streets=60 homes that were already previously evacuated earlier that day. He nonchalantly let one desperately needed officer leave just to transport one Lady across town to a shelter, when that officer was two Blocks away from the entrance to Kahua Camp where he could have at LEAST warned them. Pelletier also had another needed officer leave the area to check HECO on the shutdown of Hwy 30 South when Pelletier should have already secured and had that South EVAC EXIT Open and clear earlier in the day! So, when the fire started to rapidly increase, he then sent three other officers to Keawe Street, as Lahaina Luna Road was in deadly gridlock due to A crazy Police officer Road Blocking Lahaina Luna Rd and .Hwy. 30 North! (See Ann Williams Testimony and Police Body Cam Footage) Kahua Street residents could not Barely even exit to escape onto Lahaina Luna Rd! So, officers never did get around to warning People with Loudspeakers or evacuating or rescuing them, No Siren, So No Warning! and as they were stuck and Backed up in gridlock on Kahua Street, partially Trapped by a Fallen Mango Tree and gridlocked from entering onto Lahainaluna Rd, They died as the Firestorm Swept over them! There was not enough help to warn or rescue them! The Same goes For Hale Senior Apts, where 5-7 elderly and disabled Perished! Kahua Camp should have been pre-warned earlier in the day when Morning Fire occured. The Fire Dept. knew full and well about the egress Problems, but the Chiefs do not Train their officers to do TRIAGE OF THE AREAS they Patrol. In emergencies, Senior centers and vulnerable, problematic neighborhoods with egress ISSUES Should be #1 on List of who they attend to! But no, according to Police Spokeswoman, Alana Pico, the Police officers had to leave the area to attend to the Traffic gridlock problems and advancing Fire, So they never made it back, oh yeah, I can't make it back when Pelletier allows the few officers he had, to Leave! Read the Phone logs and you'll read how a Police Officer is asking For help at 3pm and Pelletier Sluffs him off and just says try to deal with it! Ignorant. The Phone records reveal at The 2pm hour, The Fire Dept. was also calling out for more resources, and wonderful caring Mayor Bissen ignored them, too, He didn't sign the Emergency Declaration until 8 pm, 6 Hours went By while he sat on his ass not doing a damned thing! That's The truth People, I researched it! 69 People died in the Fire in Central Lahaina while he was screwing around doing who knows what, The excuse is the Dr. Appt, in the middle of a damned 80 MPH Windstorm Brown power poles are falling all through town and roofs are blowing off and no one has Power and the Town has only one evacuation escape route out and No Traffic signals work and crazy Fires are burning, and Mayor Bissen has got to see the Dr., Sure, Sure Sure, we buy that Bull! There are more reasons Besides the Blocks which impeded, stalled and stopped People from exiting such as #1. Pelletier Failing to Stop all South Bound traffic on Huy 30 From Points as Far North as Napilli #2. Failure to contraflow Front Street, and Hwy 30 North From Kapanukea Street on up and all Traffic Fleming west Bound to Hwy 30 north. Upon Fire eruption, Pelletier Failed to immediately Prioritize and Focus on the towns one and only exit out and then do a Full on contraflow out to Safety! that's how I find it from studying it in depth. there is no wrongful accusation by me, one must read and hear the Verbal report. it is difficult for mainlanders to understand due to not knowing lay of land, Street names, and MPD never gave a readable map.

What Lahaina should do is improve the water system in Maui, put more Fire Stations on that side of the Island not just Lahaina, increase the amount of firetrucks on that side of the Island perhaps build more fire stations in that area and if there ever is another fire there they should have some sort of water catchment system so that if the water pressure goes down they can refill their trucks with water instead of running out, what happened to the fire boats that we use to put out fires on boats they should build a fire boat station right in the heart of Maui, but law makers are just too stupid to think about that.

Police Chief Pelletier fails to truthfully document findings! Credible local Eyewitnesses claim they've seen several deceased Children on Front Street, but this is not recorded in Pelletiers findings. Many eyewitnesses and news reporters also wrote articles that are completely opposite of Pelletiers Accounts, Kekoa Lansford, Tracy Bennett, Ken Cherry, Ally Medina, Danny Yuckert, Luz Agunaldo, Pila Taufa saw many Bodies
Here is more testimony From Local Fire Victims and Eyewitnesses: according to ABC News, 8/14/23/ Danny Yuckert described his experience after Fleeing into the ocean by the Seawall, " people were dying right next to him as he i endured smoke, toxins, Flaming Ember's during the 4-Hour wait. it was him in 24 others. Also, Local Lahaina Rugby Star, Pila Taufa, who also had to Flee into the ocean water to save himself Off Front Street, told reporters he saw a child under a Burnt out car on Front Street by his Father who what's the tempting to Shield the child From the Flames with his body! why hasn't Pelletier documented this?? Also, HNN Mahealani Richardson interviewed local Hero, Kekoa Lansford who told her he saw deceased children on Front Street. Why hasn't Pelletier check into his story and documented it??? 62 year old Tore Trung, who also said she had to save herself by jumping into the ocean with hundreds of others, said she saw people had died in their cars on Front Street because there was nowhere to go and people died in their houses. Also, Lanz Agunaldo and Isabella Lynch from Lahaina, had to Flee into the ocean with 80 others. when they finally were able to get out they saw charred bodies in burnt out cars on Front Street, a woman deceased on the rocks, dead bodies floating in the waves of the ocean water. Also, Kekoa Lansford told many reporters he saw dead bodies floating on the ocean.water and by the Seawall. former Maui film commissioner, Tracy Bennett, told Fox live, he had heard stories about his friend Brian going out on his jet ski into the harbor and pulling bodies from the ocean. Also, Coast Guard boarding officer, Ken Cherry, told of his colleagues pulling bodies from the ocean that were alive but some were not! Also, local Hawaiian Native, Courtney Lazo, made serious accusations several days after the fire, that tourists were snorkeling and taking pictures of bodies of their people floating on the ocean! People claim there were dead bodies on the ocean after the fire! Pelletier claims only ONE BODY was found in the ocean by the harbor. Frontier also claims that not one single body was found inside a burnt out car on Front Street! I want to know why local people are saying one thing and Pelletier is saying a totally different thing. Who is l lying??? I've read all the Articles and I have all the names of the people and the reporters!! can anybody tell me the truth????? 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
