    How do you flush the pump and all the hoses to the lift and controls to get the rest of the old fluid out?

    I followed your video and replaced gaskets and O-rings used ISO 32 hydraulic fluid. Everything went well but when I was done neither the bucket nor the three-point lift would move. I think my hydraulic pump needs primed but can’t find a good video on that. Any help would be appreciated.

      Did you figure it out bud? I’m about to do the same service and any tips or help would be appreciated. Mines not a ford but it’s the same set up bc shibaura made the tractor for ford.

      @@mountainmike1685 I appreciate it. I drained my old oil and cleaned the filter and put in fresh. Ran good for about a day and got shaky again and pump started to whine. So I guess imma have to drain the system a couple of times so it cleans out all of the trash in it.

      @@davidmabry4365 Ok, If you think there is trash in the lines you might check the pressure relief valve. I f it has trash in the system, the valve may not close and effect pressure build up. Good luck

    Curious on the type of oil you used I have done a little research & thought I'd found out you needed 134 not the 32 dont know much about it I just bought a 1700 4x4 1985 any information would be helpful

      We called the New Holland dealership and they said use 10 weight. We couldn't find it anywhere but the internet says that the 32 is the same thing. I hope I'm not spreading missinformation in my video. I tried real hard to be accurate but I might have made a mistake. In the video we used what we had on hand and it was much thicker. The stuff that came out flowed like brake fluid and what we put in flowed like motor oil. The info in the video was what the dealership recommended. I hope that helps.

      @@BenHuttash thank you might have to keep doing some digging. One more question do you recommend using the hydraulic oil or fluid my step dad said there was a difference & I needed to use the oil not the fluid. I used " Rotella HD hydraulic and transmission fluid" from tractor supply

      @@patricfritz4507 I've read that you need to use hydraulic and transmission fluid when there's a chance of hydraulic and differential oils mixing. My old 841 has the pto and implement arms fluid chamber next to the rear differential and the wall between them apparently isn't airtight. If you're putting fluid in a closed system (like I have on my loader) then I'll use pure AW32

    Nice video.
    Neither water nor hydraulic oil are compressible.

    • @BenHuttash
      @BenHuttash  Před 7 měsíci

      But when mixed together you get a foam that causes hydraulic problems because they two liquids don’t mix.

    I got my filter out and cleaned and put new gasket and O rings in. Used ISO 32 and everything went great until I got done and tried it and the bucket and 3 pt lift will neither one move. I’m thinking my hydraulic pump might need to be primed but I’m not finding a good video on that. Any help would be appreciated.

      I just change the filter and hydraulic fluid and I'm having the same issue too. My hydraulics on my Ford 1900 no longer work after the filter and fluid change. How did you fix this issue?
