The first build in the new studio is complete. Now obviously I am going to want you guys to suggest fish. I need rainbow fish options...not the large ones though as you can see, the water volume isn't huge.
This was so fun to build and turned out just how i visualised it in my head...maybe a little better actually. Comment and like as usual please guys. Love you all :)

Notropis Chrosomus would be the perfect fish for this aquarium. Very pretty and they also really enjoy fast flowing water.
Creeping Jenny would look amazing at the end of that fern on the wood and Hillstream loaches, big rainbows so they can go against the current and a few Denison barbs or Roseline sharks 😍😍😍

We have plenty of plants in our river here in england. The Avon for example. And the streams running through the New forest.

This tank is one of my favorites off all time! Looks amazingly beautiful , I love the green above with the ferns and the movement of the water plants in the flow. Cant wait to see livestock. Hopefully hillstream loach and bamboo or filter feeding shrimp. I think the blue or pinks the vampire shrimp(atya gabonensis) would look amazing
Excellent. You have become one of my favourite CZcamsrs. First, your sense of humour is fantastic, second I watch a lot of my videos early with coffee while everyone else sleeps, and I like how your music that you incorporate isn't louder than your voice, so when it comes on it doesn't have me couch diving to turn the volume down. Sitting with my finger on the volume button really takes the joy out of the moment. Classy music you choose as well. I dig you MD.

Beautiful and gives me some ideas for my old reef tank equipment.
Perfect use of Bolbitis..most natural. Emersed you might try the 'difformis' that should do fine roots in water,tops in air. Or,in a raised spot that stays wet..a rock.
Maybe just work on disguising the pipes and pump.
Looks like a great home for 20 Danios...zebra and the rest.

haha. Don't know about that. I like to do a more natural look which is easier than what the other scapers tend to do.

what can i say other then epic and keep on going always a inspiration and HUGE congrats on the new "SHED" pardon studio folowed every bit of the building up and it turned out even better then i expected you sir are presistent and talented consider me a loyal folower till you keep on posting on youtube :D
Looking so good. Maybe plants along the quiet side? Could be cool emphasizing the difference in flow by increasing more plants as the water slows. And remember: your fish aren't English at all and they really need plant space for happy/restful and most interesting behavior. Also, on the fast flow side, some fast flow fish (plecos! Gobies (I think) !loaches!) love to rest on rocks and cling, so a rockier bottom at that fast flow end would really increase interaction of those fish. You are always saying:do your research !(in other words don't depend on my guesses)
And: more interesting creeping plant? That ivy is such standard garden fare...creeping fig or the colorful pilea involucrata...stuff that loves the humidity. Thanks for sharing this with us: get some sleep and go see if you remember the name of wife and kids and axocotl.
