I’ve been watching him and other channels since they started but I always knew Tommy was way too rough around the edges to be doing that stuff. When the police said only 1 of all his catches was being prosecuted, it told me everything I needed to know. The reason police officers can't do this is because it would be considered *ENTRAPMENT* by the courts. Many of his cases get tossed for this reason. Many times their dating profiles say 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, on Tinder or adult dating site. Then they switch up the ages after messaging. In fact some of these poachers will even make first contact. If you're a male and have a Tinder match showing a 22 year old woman, it could actually be a decoy for one of these poachers. I'm not even joking about that. You can research this on your own.

He was forthcoming, yet had a sense of compassion. He wanted to at least give people a chance to show accountability and turn their life around! They can sue for libel/defamation, just like they could any other private citizen. Tommy doesn't turn over evidence when requested by law enforcement, or when he does, it's partial or altered evidence, which ruins the case. The police don't want anything to do with a guy who's clearly just doing this for CZcams content.

Why do most police depts not have sting operations like this? because the funds arent available. Also, there has to be an interview before officers arrive or theres no content, viewers, and monetization so these catches can continue.

They canceled Chris Hansen's show when some guy literally blew his brains out on one of the episodes. These CZcamsrs lack the investigative tools and capability of law enforcement. I have a relative that retired from a federal agency some time ago. His section of the department worked exclusively to apprehend criminals that solicit children online. There were multiple occasions in which the accused was the target of harassment themselves. It's not uncommon for somebody online with an axe to grind to drop box/remotely deposit CSAM onto the computer of somebody that they have problems with. Computer Forensics exists for the purpose of determining whether or not the material is what its reported to be and how specifically it got there (did they download it from a browser, was it emailed to them, did they solicit it etc). Proving intent matters and its what builds airtight cases that force these degenerates into cages and even into making deals with feds to rat out other child abusers in their network. None of that works if some sperg with a CZcams channel shows up trying to fight some balding, middle aged pedo in a Wal-Mart parking lot who he's "pretty sure might be the guy."
All this and more. As egregious as pedophilia is, they are still entitled to due process. They are entitled to a fair investigation and trial. People get so mad when i say that.
He only ever talked about the arrests but never mentioned anything about convictions. All were probably thrown out. And im sure they explained to him why his way cannot work. If he really cared, he would have figured out a way to work with the appropriate agencies to ensure things were done correctly to get these people of the street.
