    Thanks for the over view. I have had mine for about 8 months. Do you know of a way to stop the audio lag while watching videos on the phone with wireless carplay? THere's a solid 2 second delay that factory radios and all other bluetooth connections don't have?

    Can you tilt the display left or right so the screen is angled towards the driver? If not, is there any receiver with a similar display that has that ability?

      I’ve been researching this unit and yes, it’s adjustable left/right and tilt towards either driver or passenger

    Awesome video! Is there another bypass trigger you recommend? The one listed is out of stock. Also, any instruction on installing the bypass?

    Congratulations on the video. One question... Nowadays (2024) the most complete Multimedia Receiver models have advanced features, such as: 13-band graphic equalizer; active crossover; time alignment; 3 pre-amplified RCA audio outputs (4V); 3-way network mode (Low, Mid, High). So I ask: could the use of such a Multimedia Receiver “in theory” dispense with the use of an audio processor (DSP)? Or in practice will the use of a DSP always bring superior audio quality?

    Well i wish Alpine the best of luck with these head units😂. I use the ILX-W650 and bought it new when they were just $299. There isnt too much more offered for this unit comapred to mine and almost a $1000 more. At that proce point someome coupd buy the iLX-W650 and still spend $1000 on a great amp or a little less and the wiring kit to install the amp. I just wouldnt tell my friends to get this over the unit i have. I would tell them to buy the iLX-W650 a great amp and wiring kit and have the whole setup for the price of that unit. Still a great unit, just i think they set the cost too high and with the economy fixing to go down, it may be a hard sell. Thanks for posting this though.

      The ILX-W670 just came out at the $299 price point. These companies are crazy charging that much. It makes want to go the Android Joying route.

      @@redpil1le____461 I agree but when it comes to head units you kind of get what you pay for though. You have to do your research on here and hope someone has already tested it and you can see real specs. Building a small platform pc is the best way to go if you have the room though. You get all the bells and whistles but you still will need some kind of amp to supply speakers unless there is room in the case for a audio card but then it wouldn't be a small platform form. Just comes down to what you are looking for, money you are willing to spend and how much room you have to spare for the unit.

    After speding a bomb, it is still dependent on phones for navigation, a deal breaker for me. It doesn't take any sort of canbus for my Jeep, so another deal breaker for me.

      It depends on what factory radio you have installed as there are a few options available. Send me a message on facebook or instagram and I can send you the right one.

    Just want to warn brfore you buy. I have a samsung s9+ and it does not work well with this units wireless android auto. The sound drops and lags behind commands making Android auto totally unusable.

    • @ProvoBeastAudio
      @ProvoBeastAudio  Před 9 měsíci +3

      Well thats a phone of almost 6 years old, the issue is with your device, not the radio itself.

      @@ProvoBeastAudio I certainly hope. I'm in the market for a new phone so hopefully it will fix the issue.
