  • The Echo CS-2511T is supposedly the lightest chainsaw in the world in it's class. Does it live up to it's reputation?
    WARNING! Operating a chainsaw with one hand is VERY DANGEROUS and not recommended by me or any of the manufacturers. In this video I use the saw with one hand to cut SMALL branches and only when I feel I have COMPLETE control, but I make sure to use two hands all the time elsewhere. Please DO NOT use ANY chainsaw with one hand!
    In this video you get to see the unboxing and initial impressions of this tiny saw.
    The Echo saw are high quality saws manufactured in Japan.
    You can find the saw on Amazon (affiliate link):

    thx for addressing & stressing the TWO HAND ON N @ ALL TIMES thjng, I still see too many present these as "one hand saw/s" which grinds my gears.. but you -- *did justice* to this issue .. got my sub

    You'd love the 355t! Basically it's the biggest Echo top handle they make, lot's of torque!

    Hello! Does it come with a 3/8" pitch and 0.050" gage chain? Do you find it vibrating/jumping in the cut? I have one with the 1/4" pitch chain that is not so easy to find in my area so I think of switching to 3/8" but some people say it's not so smooth in the cut if muffler is not modified. What's your experience?

      Yes, it comes with a 3/8" .050" chain.
      It's not vibrating at all in my experience

    What type of oil & gas you used?

    • @Hackish
      @Hackish  Před 3 lety +1

      The gas is a premixed alkylate petrol (Aspen 2) and the chainsaw oil is just a regular chainsaw oil

      Nice informative vid. I couldn’t see a long term/follow-up vid and just wondered what the fuel economy is like,eg how long can you run it between filling up and presumably the chain oil is not running out before the gas?! 🥸

      The whole point of a top handle saw is to use it with one hand. I have 6 saws with this one being my favorite. If I wanted to use 2 hands on it I'd a bought the rear handle model. This saw has far more power than the specs suggest.
