Good job. I know my limitations and I certainly wouldn’t try this at home - or anywhere else 🌞

As you were doing the burning I kept trying to blow the flames out. I had to laugh at my self. Anyway that turned out awesome. Keep up the good work.

What an interesting application! Ive never seen this done on a bowl. It made me think, how amazing it would be to take boring wood and make it spectacular. You could even fill the pattern with yellow resin and then do an india ink stain to make it look like real lightning at night. Great job!

You are unbelievably creative. I would like to be able to turn wood as well as you. I'm still at the point where I get 'catches'

On a totally different tack, what's up with the braking on your Nova Saturn? It's one of the best features of the DVR lathes, but you seem to have turned it off (or at least, it is not working)?

The technique is called fractal burning, and while it produces spectacular results, it is also one of the most lethal woodworking operations known to mankind. Seriously, there have been many fatalities, and when set against the low number of people doing it, the fatality rate is extremely high. It is genuinely not worth the risk, in my view. It uses extremely high voltage and high current, and you only need to make one tiny mistake and that electricity will kill you. No second chances.

Because it has killed quite a few people already, and promotion of the technique is banned on their platforms by both the AWGB and the AAW.
