SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS. I beat Undertale a few weeks ago, and I kind of fell in love with Asriel after the final battle. He is such a sad, precious character and I just want to save him so badly. So I really wanted to do something with this song, I wanted to try and understand how he must have felt being trapped and so sad. I hope you like it!

Asriel's story is so sad. He only wanted to be with his best friend, even if it was a different person. He had to suffer from their death, and was forced to take her soul just so her last wish could be fulfilled. On top of that he was killed while doing so. Then he had somehow been resurrected in the body of a golden flower, he couldn't even take control of his soul and in a fit of rage nearly killed every one of his kind. He even started begging for Frisk to just let him win so he can get it over with. So sad ;^;

He's my favorite character because of his amazing story. He made undertale's story so amazing. I would barely like it without the true pacifist route!
The fact that this is 5 years old breaks my heart. It really hits you where it hurts when you remember how dedicated you and others were. So many friends we never met. So many souls that we didn't know were connected. Undertale will forever live on in our hearts and give us endless memories.

In 2015 a friend of mine send me a gift on Steam. It was a game I’d never hear of called Undertale.
She wanted to play it with me since she liked the game. So I did.
And it absolutely blew me away. I’d never seen anything like it. I think I would’ve cried at the end if my friend hadn’t been watching.
I’ll admit, although I’m happy the game got the recognition it deserves, the hype kind of threw me off for a while (mostly the Sans fangirls). I haven’t played it since, or seen gameplays of it.
Until yesterday, when I finally watched JackSepticEye play it. And it made me so nostalgic. It sounds stupid, I know, but it was almost like seeing a long lost friend. I’d forgotten how much the game meant to me, and what an impact it had had on me. It’s literally one of the reasons, I’ve thought about making video games myself.
Toby Fox truly created something great and unique. And this cover is so good at catching the emotion of the story and its characters.

It makes you stronger overall, teaching you that you will face many obstacles, but you shan't give up. Whilst playing, you realize many things about love and friendship, and that even the worst of the worst can turn out to be the nicest person you've ever met.
Undertale makes a great game, as it puts you through tear and laughter, happiness and sadness...

I wasn't that active during the start of Undertale's popularity, I think this really caused me to miss out on a lot of the beauty the Fandom created (alongside the cringe).

I had seen the game of Undertale every now and then, but I had not been truly interested. When I listened to your cover, however, it all changed. I began to search for the game, and I became very intrigued. Much of my day-to-day activities revolve around Undertale now. I still think it's crazy how long it's been since Undertale came out. Funnily enough it was thanks to this song that I got into the game. It's still one of my main hyper fixations, and the longest lasting one by far XD
