I was also here and cried the first 4 songs. I will forever love Robert. My young girl inner emo child was over joyed finally seeing him live. Took me 30+ years but I finally saw him. 🥰
Saw them in Atlanta last year, still as good as they were back in '95
For me, Robert Smith is and remains one of the best live singers I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. You can "compare" many a band or musician, but The Cure cannot be compared with anyone because they are a unique band and they have been transporting this into the hearts and souls of us fans for decades. His voice is still the same after so many years. The Cure is simply cult
They get better every f''king day. 🤩🎶 What a catalogue, what great musicians, every single one of them, including the great Reeves Gabrels. ❤
They’re so beautifully alive and full of humility, energy, hope and love.
The only unfortunate thing is that the hands of time take you on and smack you in the face!!!!!!

Wrapped up my fifth time seeing them this year at riot fest. Grew up with my parents playing the Cure and have been a fan ever since. This show was truly spectacular. The crowd and the energy was unparalleled. It was an ethereal experience.

Roberts performing better now Vs a few years ago. He seems happier but still has that amazing emotional edge when needed.

I have been an absolute CURE fan since i first played a fresh "Dintegration" through its entirety as a high schooler, I couldn't hit stop....now 35 some years later, with gray hair, I love seeing the 3 imaginary boys, now 6, doing their magical art on stage or wherever! Blessed to see their show in SLC in June '23. I agree with everyone, this tour, era, and album are absoultely %@&#ing EPIC! DREAMING I might someday see "The Same Deep Water as You" played live in person....Oh to Wish Impossible Things...

EDGE OF DEEP GREEN SEA! HIS VOCALS ARE OFF THE CHAIN MAN. WOW! HIS VOCAL RANGE IS SO INCREDIBLE AND STILL HITS EVERY NOTE PERFECTLY. THANKS FOR POSTING. ONE OF MY FAVE GROUPS. MY FAVES FROM SET LIST ARE: 1- NIGHT LIKE THIS 2-FASCINATION STREET AND THEN 3- EDGE OF DEEP GREEN SEA.

Maaaannn...I missed this because I had another concert on the north side of Chi. The Cure was the only band that I really wanted to see out of the whole fest so I got so salty/bummed out. Big thank you to you for filming and posting this.
I was lucky enough to see this, live last Setpember. I felt a little sad skipping the Godspeed You Black Emperor set to listen to this show(their set time conflicted with when this occurred at), but it was worth it. Maybe another day, I'll get to see GYBE live.

I've been listening to The Cure since my days in High School, now @ 51 STILL my favorite band!! Have many regrets that I didn't go to Riot Fest to see them, I saw them in June @ the UC and imagine being able to see your favorite band twice in one year!!? Those that did I HATE YOU- not really, just jealous! Thanks for posting!❤

I was lucky to see him many times but the last concert I saw from the LOST WORLD concert was probably the darkest, emotionally charge (Robert had a couple of times tears while singing … Well did I too 😊
He took us through a PORNOGRAPHY JOURNEY and some new song, one for this brother, I CAN NEVER SAY GOODBYE turned to be as he mentions, “It was five years today he died” no wonder this set was so heavy, himself confirmed the “unusual set BUT also in a spare a moment confirmed : It is FUCKING GREAT” WHICH for hardcore fans like me was PURE HONEY, it was in FRANCE, TOULOUSE 13 NOV 22.

@@iPhoneProjectHouston It is simply too heavy on the bass and no high notes. Listen to one of the other bootlegs, you'll understand. Again, thank you for uploading. I saw them in Los Angeles and love the new songs.
I hate to be critical of The Cure, BUT - Jason makes pretty much all the drum parts and patterns sound wooden and flat. Where has the drive, swing and groove that Andy and Boris brought to the drum platform gone? Jason is obviously not incompetent - but for me, his playing lacks `feel` and nuance. None the less - long live The Cure !
