My son and I were fortunate enough to see Ohtani with our Angels for six years. I could buy tickets on game day for as little as $5-6 on Stub Hub, parking was $10 and a beer was $5. Angel’s Stadium is the easiest stadium to get to and to get in and out of. I look forward to watching Ohtani even in a Dodgers uniform.

Even with those bargain prices, it was sad to see the stadium half empty even when Ohtani was playing like an MVP.

I was wondering the same thing and someone commented that it's a Japanese thing. Came from a song called Yatta by Happa Tai or Green Leaves. They do a similar motion singing "yatta" which translates to "I did it" or "hooray". 😂 Maybe the team decided on this celebration move after Ohtani and Yamamoto was on the team?

Ohtani's elbow is limited to swing.It's different from last year.The batting rate fell to the body. Other teams have noticed that the guard is weak. The slugging percentage might drop like Harper did last year. I hope he gets healthy.
He even started the season slow, now he's on fire. Betts is even hotter
I think his RISP is very low because he goes for homerun every at bat. Maybe he's not used to runner on base as was with Angels. Lol. He should finesse with his bat like Mookie does instead of going broke all the time.
