WHY FULL HOUSE HAD THE WORST SERIES FINALE
Vložit
- čas přidán 1. 08. 2024
- This may just be the actual worst Series finale of all time.
Full House did itself no favors by ending with the episode "Michelle Rides Again"
An episode that sees everyone's favorite Tanner fall off a horse and catch a case of amnesia.
That's it.
That's the end.

What’s wild is I remember watching this episode several times as a kid and today was the first time I was ever made aware that this was the finale.
I agree, it didn't really feel like a series finale, but rather an end of season finale. I always thought that it seemed rather rushed.
Same
I read that they were supposed to have a 9th season but John stamos Left because he wanted to focus on other projects after dedicating 8 years to the show and then the show didn't get picked for another season as without John it would have been impossible to maintain success. That explains the last episode
As lame as it was, Full House was always a ratings juggernaut. Very strange.
@@JoeyArmstrong2800Full house spoke to people. They knew they were not in for Frasier or Seinfeld. It was the typical feel good show and also while the writing was hit and miss the chemistry in between them was off the charts. And the cast was top notch as well In the sense that Bob and Dave were actual comedians. John was a movie and tv star before the show and Jodie was one of the best child actress ( as opposed to the twins who were just marketing machines without great acting skills)
TrinaQ why are you and I commenting everywhere?
Imagine if they had planned to make this two part season finale split between being the season finale and the next seasons premiere. The show would've ended with what wouldve essentially been the death of Michelle.
Yeah, that was gonna happen at the end of the season due MK and Ashley's departure from the show! But it was deemed to be too dark for the show's family friendly tone and it's target audience of families! I would've loved to see that in the show, but I can understand why it didn't happen and why it probably would've ruined the show a little bit!
@@MRWood-T2235 Yeah, I know, exactly! It was cancelled due to low ratings at the time and the shows was also expensive to produce for ABC and especially expensive for a sitcom, and it was getting too low viewership to justify continuing it if it wasn't making any money anymore and also the production budget had blown way up over the years during the original run of the show on ABC! So, they had to pull the plug on the show! How sad, bro!
@@MRWood-T2235 No, I'm not lying, bro! That was what happened, dude! Why do you think I'm lying about what I was saying? You are delusional, man!
That could've been cool
@@Frustratedartist2 Yeah, it could've! If they'd handled a bit better, then this totally could've happened, instead of waiting over 20 GODDAMNED YEARS for an actual finale to this show over on Netflix in 2020! It's insane how long it took and they didn't to wait this long like they had to, but they did and it was an excruciatingly long ass wait, bro! So crazy, man! I wish that Jeff Franklin and his team had gotten the chance to end the series earlier the first time instead of waiting that long, it's just terrible to me! I feel for him and he didn't need to have to wait for the network to let him end it when they wanted it to just because it costed way too much to produce it!
Michelle loses her memory, so her family reminds her-and the audience-of things from the show's past, we got both Olsen twins interacting in a fun bit, DJ reunites with Steve... Idk, I thought it was a good series finale. Far, far better than the dumpster fire that was the Family Matters finale.
The only problem I have of the subplot of finding DJ a date for her senior prom is this: Why did she have to have a date in order for her to go to the prom? Why couldn't she go stag to the event? When I was a senior, I went to my prom without a date and had fun! None of the other kids actually cared!
Yeah, I'll admit it was a little bit and it didn't come off as anti-climatic as that show's finale episode did, but it was still bad, bro! No other way around it, man! It's bad!
I remember expecting the show to keep going into the late 90s cause it was just so good (for me) don't remember much from the last 2 episodes but I do have the grand send off bow at the end, and feeling so annoyed that there was no more Full house, a show I had been watching since the late 80s. But then I just focused on Boy meets World.
I just finished watching the entire series of family matters. I didn't think the finale was bad at all. There was a lot of memorable scenes that showed how the series started till the end.
As an old timer who remembered watching this “series finale” as a child, the only reason I knew this was the finale is due to the cast getting a curtain call after the final scene on the broadcast. Supposedly, the cast and ABC were so far on the contract talks for a 2 season extension, ABC said *bleep it* and cancelled the show with only 2 episodes left to finish the show in 2 weeks.
Yeah, that was supposed to be the plan, but the ratings went down drastically during seasons 6 and 7, and the ratings went so far down the toilet in season 8 that they didn't want to risk it due to the show's high production cost, which is pretty expensive for a sitcom, bro!
@@taejasper1343 Actually, I remember watching this series finale with my Mom Mom when she was staying for a visit. If I recall, it was advertised as the end of the show. But what do I know? I'm the same age as the twins and maybe have a false memory.
Glad someone else said this because true. I remember this well. I thought this was a normal thing as The Cosby Show did it. So I watched when the reruns and was confused why that part didn't show
@@trianglesforsquares Yeah, same! That show was cancelled before its finale aired instead of announcing that the show would concluding with Season 7, they just cancelled only halfway through the season, and just said, "Yeah, nah! We're ending here!", and they didn't renew the series for one more season and that was also because of the sexual r*pe and ass**lt allegations thrown onto Bill Cosby (falsely) and the show was unceremoniously cancelled afterwards and there were no reruns broadcast on NBC's Thursday night primetime schedule after that! It was just cancelled, and they didn't even get an announcement beforehand because the allegations at the time brought upon Cosby and the network had to cave into the pressure of letting the series go, even if it meant killing it too soon before the creators had even had the chance to full wrap up the show and I do feel bad for them in a way because it meant letting go of something that they were passionate about making and they didn't expect to be cancelled to early on in the series' run! So hence why the "series finale" doesn't actually feel like the finale, because it was rushed and the series was cancelled and it just felt like a regular, everyday or every week at the time, kind of episode, and it didn't feel like an actual send off episode! What a shame, man! 'Cause I loved that series and it was sad to see it go out the way that it did! And I really enjoyed it!
@taejasper1343 wow I didn't know this either. Amazing how out of the loop we weer before the internet was so accessible. I saw the Cosby Show with the whole dance off and thought it was cute and nice but again, clueless as a young person. Unless they straight up said it was the last episode.
I remember these episodes. I didn't even realize that this was the finale.
3:00 This also feels really out of character for Danny. I haven't seen the show in a while, but I can't really picture him pressuring his daughter into winning something that he previously viewed as dangerous.
I recently re watched the whole series and many people seem to say that the first season was the bad one and then it got great when the kids got older
I disagree Full house first season was actually hilarious. It had a very specific kind of humor. The chemistry between Jesse and Joey was hilarious. I actually think Becky not being there yet worked better and Jodie sweetin was HILARIOUS she was 5 but had the intelligence and comedy timing of a gifted 10 years old actress. Mary Kate and Ashley were pretty embarrassing in comparison
Personally I always hated Michelle when I was a kid because of how spoiled she was which only got worse with each season, and always preferred the Jesse, Danny, and Joey stories more than the kids.
@@tokyodeathghoul2313Same I only liked her towards the end because they were less episodes about her and she started acting like a normal freaking kid but Stephanie was always my favorite kid and I liked dj well enough but the adults especially jesse had the best moments
@@brandonayong5823 I remember specifically the episode where Michelle filled up the pool after Danny told her no pissed me off so bad. *Sidenote the scene where Stephanie's feet grew to enormous lengths absolutely terrified me as a kid. As did the scene from That's So Raven where her nose grew to such an enormous size. I apparently had a fear of body parts that were of immensely abnormal sizes.
Stephanie i grew to like around season 3 and DJ I never really had any issues with, and while i did like their characters in the later seasons a bit more, the early seasons were still by far the best.
I'll always hold a place in my heart for Uncle Jesse as my own Uncle passed away right around the time I started the show and Jesse reminded me of him the most out of any other fictional character apart from Christopher Eccleston's 9th Doctor from Doctor Who.
@@tokyodeathghoul2313Sorry for your loss. Jesse definitely was relatable for millions. You believed him as a character as well
Stephanie was annoying when she was younger Michelle was annoying when she got older
Actually it was said that this wasn't supposed to be the final episode... They thought that they're going to get another episode but just a couple days before shooting this episode that they finally find out that Network wasn't going to renew another season... So this actually ended up being the last episode and I 100% completely agree.. there are a lot of shows out there that they make a good final episode
I heard it wasn’t supposed to be the series finale but Candace cameron and John Stamos didn’t want to return. This ended up being the bad series finale.
This is from the Full House IMDb Trivia Page: "The show initially was going to have a ninth season. However, the ninth season was on the (then) new WB Network as an old, "classic" show to help launch the new network and lineup. John Stamos (Jesse) did not like how the show was being dropped from ABC, a top-three network, and moving to a fledgling new network and announced that the eighth season would be his last. Candace Cameron Bure (D.J.) also planned on the eighth season as her last, doing sporadic guest appearances during the ninth season as her character D.J. came home to visit from college during the holidays, as Cameron, in real life, was planning on going to college after season eight. After these two announced their departures, the others decided that it was time to call it quits, and the writers decided the series had gone as far as it could go, and the eighth season on ABC (1994-1995) ended up being the final season for Full House (1987)."
I think this is a good thing. You can't make the show without Uncle Jesse and DJ. Eight years is a long time to play the same character.
Yep, until the revamped run on Netflix where it was retitled Fuller House and ran for five more seasons until 2020 and had an actual finale to the show this time, 'cause they were able to plan it out and it ended up being a great end to the series! And it brought the family's chapter to a close! And it was great!
From what I heard, it wasn’t supposed to be the finale, they were planning season 9. it got cancelled. I can’t confirm that though it’s been years
You are right….they planned on season 9 but we’re gonna be moved to WB. John stamos decided he wouldn’t return and Candice Cameron would only be in a guest role as she was headed to college IRL. So they decided they shouldn’t come back, at the last minute.
It would make sense
To be fair, FH had a primetime spot and this was advertised as the final episode
Basically.
Yeah, not like "Step by Step"
If I remember correctly it was prematurely cancelled after the holiday season in 1998 and CBS burned off the last few episodes that June.
Thanks for saying that. I remember being fully aware it was the series finale, they only showed the commercial a hundred times before it aired.
At least it's better than FULLER HOUSE. I could never see that thing again.
I forgot about that reboot
Preach, I've never seen the reboot, and have no real wish to do so. I'm happier with the classic series.
Was it that bad? I never bothered to watch it
I've seen the first two episodes before. Too me atleast it's good so far. I couldn't continue watching it as my family got rid of Netflix.
I wish that the show would have ended with them all moving out. Also Jesse go on tour, Danny getting married, and Joey getting a stand up special
The last episode of Season 7 was them talking about moving out but Michelle getting them all to stay. Wonder if they weren't sure if they'd get another season or not so made that one kinda like a finale.
@@JuliaDelbel I guess
The problem with this finale and others is I get shows declining, but when a show is longer than five seasons, it deserves an actual ending. Like the network can let them know they are cancelling a show before it goes into the next season
If a show makes to 100 episodes, then it should have a proper finale
I completely agree with you. A show that's on for that long deserves a proper ending. For the fans and the actors that have been with the show that long
They didn’t know the show was being canceled when they made that episode
I agree that most of it doesn’t feel like a finale, but the last couple of scenes was where it felt like one
I remember watching Nick-at-Nite when they started showing Full House in order. I got to this epiaosde, and then the next day it was the pilot episode. I genuinely thought that I had missed the season finale to only realize THIS was it.
The fact that there was no sense of finality was absolutely a problem.
Compare the finale of Full House and the finale of the Fresh Prince of Bellaire. If you watched the finale of the Fresh Prince, it could be the first episode you've ever seen (how ironic would that be) and you would still know that it was the series finale.
But hey, at least Fresh Prince got actually end its run the first time around instead of waiting years into the future when the streaming era would begin and relaunch the series again just like it has for so many other series from around this time like the upcoming 12th season revival of Fraiser! It's crazy, man!
I disagree, and am apparently in the minority here... This was one of my favorite shows as a kid, and I remember this being heavily advertised as the grand finale, and it really felt like a proper finale to me. Michelle having about as close to a real tragedy as possible for the show, plus referencing old episodes and plot points (showing her Mr. Woodchuck, reminding her of Disney Princess for a Day, and of course Steve), plus one of the few times that both twins are on screen together and even that last line ("We got through it together, just like we always have, just like we always will."), it really felt like a worthy send off to me. It worked, it was great.
I remember it being heavily advertised as the ending as well. I remember feeling like I HAD to absolutely watch because this was the last one. I thought having Michelle have an accident was a weird choice but otherwise, it seemed like a finale to me.
Well, unfortunately it wasn't and it didn't work, bro! Because even though you may have enjoyed it, that doesn't mean that it worked, because the series finale, and the true finale didn't even come until 2020 when Netflix gave the series its proper conclusion in the Fuller House run of the series! And it was far better than this one was foe me at least! It gave everyone in the family some time to get ready to say goodbye as DJ's daughters and her sister's kids went off to college and moved out of the house and we get see glimpses of the past when DJ and the girls went through stuff, Joey and Jesse and the gang went through quite a lot together as a family and she remembers it all and then Joey returns for a little visit one last time to give her a hug before she left and stuff to drop the kids off! It was a nice little episode that tied things finally for the family after over nearly 20+ YEARS of trying to get ere and even get a finale to wrap up the show properly! And it worked, far better than the season 8 finale episode did! And it was a spectacular sendoff to a much beloved mighty television sitcom franchise and they have no fake certain call this time at the end of it and called it a day, fuck no! It was actually real this time and genuine, too! It was an actual event! And the season 8 finale episode may not age well as finale, but it will as a normal, standalone episode! It did what they weren't able to do the first time that they should've been able to do the first time, and I love that!
@@taejasper1343 You're entitled to your opinion.
@@Red-Wolf-Ben Yeah, thanks, and so are you, dude! We can both agree to disagree on how we enjoy series finales, bro! I can live with that!
2:00 True but full house didn't really have a deep story to begin with as most plot threads were resolved before the final season even started. There wasn't really anything to actually wrap up or send off.
They could have dj and Kimmy graduated high School
Not even a minute and a half in, but I can honestly say, I was in the same boat. At one point, I was watching full house all the time when it was one Nick at Nite and ABC Family. I did catch these episodes a few times. Never knew they were the series finale either. Like you said, no binge watching, no box sets, and even if there was a marathon no guarantee they would just show episodes in order.
Not sure how. Nick at Nite aired every episode in proper order
@@sgillman16 they most likely never did.
Have Mercy!!!! Have you ever looked into the last episode of Married... with children? Vee T*** and proud! 😂
New Vee Infuso vids fuel me through work
Never was a fan of this show
This episode was disappointing, but at least the show got revived on Netflix and got properly wrapped up fully with an actual final ending in 2020! Thank God, bro! So, yeah! Which is good! The original run didn't need to end this way, man! Deserved way better!
Oh god that new channel logo. Was not ready for that today
omg wait i’m mind blown!!! i went into this video assuming i never saw the final episode but turns out i have seen it and never knew it was the last one!!! literally proving your point like i remember this where like michelle gets fucked up by that horse lmfao had NO CLUE that was the last episode that is wild 😂😂
Went through the same experience just right now lol
@@Pagminion LMAO LITERALLY!!!! that’s so damn funny 😂
When I watched it on Netflix , I honest thought it was something like modern family where they didn’t have all the seasons on it yet. I only realised after Googling it, that it was the finale
There was a different season finale that worked for a series finale for me. Something about a shopping mall. Not sure what season. 🤷♂
Have Mercy!I've heard a few of these, talking about shows that finale's not being actual finales. This felt like a last episode to me. DJ going to the prom with Steve, and that last line from Bob Saget.
Some sit coms like this one or another example Married with Children. Had the problem of not being able to officially end a series. If the studio felt like it could be continuously milked of all of its worth. They most likely have “the finale” of these kinds of shows. Feel like just another episode of the show beforehand. Except with no indication that this would be the final episode.
Vee Infuso, this 2-part episode was supposed to be the season finale episode instead of the series finale. This is because the network cancelled the show rather suddenly.
Could you talk about Moesha’s last episode on how it ended in a cliff hanger?
I liked it better than the family matters season finale. Urkel. Finally gets Lora to fall in love with him. They get engaged, but first, Steve goes to space. And he barely makes it back. But then, they never show the wedding. and I’ve never even seen an episode, of fuller house.
Even as a kid I thought it was silly series finale, it feels unearned and empty for a finale
I was VERY aware it was the series finale. But then again, I saw it when it first aired, when they were making a big deal out of it. Haven't seen it since, though
The ending should’ve been Stephanie graduating from middle school and moving on to high school, while DJ and Kimmy leave for college and go their separate ways. While Aunt Becky & Uncle Jesse move out the Tanner house and buy their own home to raise their family…and announce their surprise pregnancy in the finale. While Danny proposes to Clair (Gia’s mom) and Joey meets the love of his life in the final season and elopes in Vegas and moved out the Tanner house and lives a happy life. A series finale if supposed end everyones storyline on a good note and a new beginning. The same way “Friends” did.
When watching this episode I just assumed the show got cancelled after, rather than it being a series finale
40 year old here, can confirm I watched this episode pair several times and never knew it was the final episodes.
No idea why the algorithm thought I needed to see this but it was good nonetheless. You earned a sub here 👏
Bewitched also had a worst series finale too, they redone a past episode
I'm kind of the opposite, i feel a finale should feel like just another episode and not one big sendoff/goodbye. Because it's not just the last episode, it's also the next chapter in the story.
I mean that's honestly a really nice thought, but the way I see it is the series finale is for the actors even moreso than for the fans, a chance to thank them and honor them for all their dedication and work as well as to give them some closure to the job they had dedicated so much of their lives to and be able to move on. I mean think about it, this show was literally the Olsen twins entire lives, as well as being the majority of their lives as they knew it in the case of Jodie Sweetin and Candace Cameron.
I agree, i think it should be a mix between both in general. Some finales focus so much on being a sendoff/goodbye that they don't actually feel like they're the same show.@@tokyodeathghoul2313
Wait what? But it's not just the next chapter. It's the last chapter. That's why it's called a finale. Are you saying you rather the show ends with an open ended ending that leaves room for a new season?
Why they figure the cheers ending was perfect because they just turned the lights off at the bar like another day is done. Tomorrow characters will go on but we will just not be apart of it.
Not to me, I like an event in my favorite show's final episode, bro! Like in That '70s Show, which granted, it was disaster, but it was still an event type of episode where the characters got to say goodbye to each other and The Office's finale was also a big two-part finale event and it made that one a goodbye episode as well and Michael Scott returned to see Dwight get married and it was amazing! I loved it! It's fun to have a big event style finale in final episodes of shows, but as long as they're done right, they'll be remembered fondly for decades to come and it would be a make or break with the last episode of a series and it can be more ambitious than the series' typically normal episodes and stuff like that! So, yeah. That's just me, but that's okay and I understand that that's how you feel about finales and how you feel they should be done! And that's fine with me, you do you!
Honestly I've gotten over the show not having a good finale. I've learned to accept it. I still personally love the show as an adult amongst the cheesiness.
People often say 2.5 men had the worst finale, but they didn't. They just had the worst 3 or 4 seasons, but there are other shows with much worse finales. It's still bad, but it wasn't the worst
Two and a half men sucked once charlie sheen got fired
I'm not denying Ashton Kutcher is hot, tho
Dude, I can’t believe that you got Kevin Conroy to promote your channel before he passed away, that’s so awesome
@Vee Infuso, I am wondering your thoughts on “Step By Step” were. To tell the truth, I can’t even remember what the season finale was about.
I randomly clicked on this vid and halfway through I’m thinking, “This totally sounds like Vee Infuso.” Lo and behold, it’s my least favorite CZcamsr. Lol. I totally thought this was a middle of the season episode as well. The best part was Steve’s return no doubt.
It’s ironic that you called full house” white family matters “ considering the crossover episode with Urkel, and that FM’s series finale had a lot of the same problems as this one, for exactly the same reason: the planned next season didn’t happen.
I remember the crossover episode! Urkel was trying to give Stephanie a pep talk when she worried that her classmates would tease her because of her new glasses.
Did a tall male teenager really need to climb into a little girl's bed to tell her that ? Was there really no other way ?
Saget, Stamos, Stern, Coolier - they should all be in prison for what they’ve done.
What did they do exactly?
Honestly, I never knew this was this was the finally until today day.
If it wasn’t for this video I would have never known that was the finale. I’ve seen this episode before with no idea oof
RIP Bob Saget
They mixed Michelle up with DJ. At least Rocket never threw her off his back. 😂😂😂
Does anyone remember Step by Step? I think that one flys under the radar too often.
Wait did u upload the everybody loves Raymond video. Can’t find it.
The crazy thing is the big question that was circling throughout the entire series that they hinted at was how did the mom die, that was answered in the previous episode.
I remember they mentioned a couple of times at how she died. I haven't watched every single episode, but I can name two that mentioned how Pamela Tanner died. In the Season 2 episode, "Goodbye, Mr. Bear, " they mentioned that she died in a car accident. In a Season 8 episode "Under The Influence," DJ revealed to Kimmy that her mom was killed by a drunk driver.
@@melissacooper8724 yes up until the episode before the two episode finale all we knew for the most part was that there was an accident of some sort. In the episode before the finale we find out she was hit by a drunk driver.
@@melissacooper8724 yes that was the episode before the two episode series finale where we actually found out how her mom officially died, I think up until that point they had said it had been an accident or a car accident but hadn't gone into major details.
@saiyan4414 Well, they did give out some clues of Pamela being killed by a drunk driver before DJ revealed it to Kimmy near the end of the series. In the episode "Just Say No Way," Jesse was absolutely livid when he caught DJ with a can of beer at the school dance. I remember hating him for not listening to her when she tried to tell him she was innocent! Then, in the episode "Driving Miss DJ," Danny was getting all freaked out when DJ got her learner's permit. His driving lesson with her was pretty intense! And when he found out she scratched up Jesse's car, he definitely freaked out! After finding out from DJ about her mom's death, I now understand why Jesse and Danny had reacted the way they did in those scenarios.
Not only did I not realize that this was the series finale, I didn’t even realize it was a two parter.
They used to have marathons on bank holidays but only old syndicated shows and not in order such as Gilligan island or golden girls so a version of binge watching did exist... Sort of
To be fair, it flopped and it should have kept going with an another season
Thanks!
Thanks for the Super Thanks!
You're actually the first.
Much appreciated. :)
Man this series finale was very disappointing. it took me years to realize that that was the end I was like what the fuck
I've seen this too & had no idea
I remember thinking the Disney episode was the series finale. Danny proposed to Vicky, Jesse and Becky got closer, Michelle was a pain all day only to give Stephanie the lime light the last 5 minutes of the day and DJ and Steve got back together in a grand way. It was the perfect way to wrap up everything
Michelle became Urkel...the whole world revolved around Michelle.
I remember this episode but had no idea this was the series finale 😂
I had a finale vibe from this episode!
I do remember this episode, I had no idea that was a series finale.
I think I may have seen thiis finale at some point during the show's long run in syndication, and I simply never realized that's what it was- a finale. Knowing that they could've had more shows just makes me more curious to find out why those seasons didn't happen. Negotations break down?
Does anyone still have that livestream of The Return of thr Lightbringer
Elizabeth olsen's sisters 😂, white Aladin 😂😂 these two lines caught me off guard lol
This reminds me of Fairly OddParents it was also a long running show with many seasons, 10 to be exact. That also never got to have a proper series finale and just like Full House Fairly Odd Parents also got another installment with Fairly Odder although unlike Fuller House Fairly Odder was cancelled and now yet another reboot of the franchise is being made at the time I'm writing this comment.
1:23 A two-parter that doesn't feel like an event?! Curious.
I like that to make a point, you randomly showed The Rock making a funny face at WWF No Way Out 1998.
At least Fuller House closed the story.
The Bundys still got nothing, decades later.
the fact that full house ended with Michelle losing her memory didn't make sense to me, but with the Olsen twins star power they went on to became more popular than full house. I think that the series should have ended with a time skip
I think the olsen twins are more famous than all the other actors in this show!
@@cheneethompson5756 Yeah true plus after full house ended, Mary-Kate and Ashley went on to do "two of a kind" and "so little time"

Well according to research this is not quite the season finale. The final episode is actually the episode when danny confronts stephanies date for standing her up. They just happened to air this stuff out of order
The episode you’re referring to is “All Stood Up” which was the final episode filmed but not the final episode aired.
@@nelroy78 Yea i know that
People say the sopranos ending is the worst series finale. They clearly forgot about the full house finale.
Same thing happened with Batman Beyond, they didn't know it wasn't going to renew so the final episode of the season was just a normal episode. That's why when Bruce Timm then made Justice League he said that he made sure the end of each season had a bigger punch in case it ended up being the series finale
The Season 7 episode "A House Divided" should've been the finale. I would've ended that episode with the family selling the house to Mr. Bond and going their separate ways. I felt that the others changing their minds because of Michelle was unrealistic. Yes they have fond memories of living in that house, but they should've explained to Michelle that moving would be a new chapter in everyone's lives. And besides, they would all still be a family even if they don't live under the same roof.
if they did end the show in the season 7 episode A House Divided Jesse Becky Nicky and Alex should’ve moved a cross from Danny’s house i feel like Joey should’ve moved in Danny’s new house with Danny Dj Stephanie and Michelle because if he didn’t he would have no one living in his house to talk to him because it would just be him
horse riding is expensive and they moaned of cost of things
Scott Melville should wear a cape.
The episode was not intended to be the finale as originally the producers were considering a ninth season, which did not eventuate because some of the cast were not willing to return for one more season. So that it why it was not a proper finale.
There will never be a worse series finale then St. Elsewhere's infamous "Snow Globe" episode...it is just impossible.
Dude I remember this episode. Lol I had no idea this was the finale.
As much as the finale of Raymond sucks, there was something about it that at least ties into the themes of the show: Everybody does actually love Raymond.
I always thought the series finale was just the pilot episode and would restart the series
Bro I literally came over here because I just finished binge watching the show and when season 8 ended I was expecting another episode after that and then it auto played to another series (it was on Hulu) and I was like woah woah woah, that’s it? And I had to look it up and found this vid, I can’t believe that’s really how it ended 🤦🏽♂️
My sister and I picked up on it being the ending very quick. The channel I watched it on would play in order episode a to z. So by the second time this happened and it went back to episode 1, we realized it was the ending and went 'wtf'.
What about Married With Children, that finale was not supposed to be the finale
I watched the finale with my grandmother. We had no idea it was meant to be the ending. Even later upon finding out it was indeed the last episode I thought it was dumb.
There was an episode where they almost sell the house but in the end they decided not to so the HUGE family could continue to live together and not split off. That would’ve been a better ending episode for the series.
"Have mercyyyyyyyyy"
I heard originally that when the show wasn’t going to be renewed for abc John stamos wanted to try to get the show moved to WB, would’ve been around 96’ but it fell through .
1995. It would have been fall 1995
can u talk about Reba's series finale? it was a perfect but sad end and I think u should do a series of tv shows that ended the show properly
I personally think it’s better than the Everybody Loves Raymond Series Finale
I had NO idea this was the finale
I actually believe that Rescue 911 had the worst possible series finale ever because it was cancelled without notice and ended not only with a rerun but with zero acknowledgement that the show was over.
I feel like sitcoms are hard to have a satisfying finale .
People forget Full House was supposed to go 10- seasons. Had the scripts written and everything as Bob Saget admitted. No one knows why it crashed when it did.
