HX One is phenomenal. It sounds amazing. My personal favorite is dynamic plate with a longer tail to give it that ethereal reverb. There are stereo reverbs that cost more, don't sound as good, and can't also do dimensional chorus and stereo delay, etc!
Great tones here in this vid, thanks! After using it for a few months, I can highly recommend this unit as well. Awesome effects and sound quality, fast tracking, simple to adjust.. I now use it in my Bass setup with the Tech21 Bass fly rig v2 (in the fx Loop). What a perfect addition! Exactly what I was looking for.
It would be cool if Line 6 released all the delays in one affordable pedal as an Echo Park reissue. Same for reverbs like the Verbzilla. The HX pedals and the DL MKII are pricy and too complex for me. They sound great though!
I was just thinking how HX One is great just as a delay pedal or multi mod pedal etc. I think the price is easy to justify when you consider all the features. It’s actually very easy to use, too.
I have an HX effects and yet I'm intriged by this smaller format...🤔 (I love that shuffling looper, on my HX it 'reshuffles' when you press the ON switch again, and again,...)
I´m currently building a board and got two og these! Will be interesting how I´m gonna use this pedal. Only noe per board for now, but maybe I´ll end up with both om the same 🤷🏻♂️😃 Nice vid!
I was checking out some of your other videos. some great tones in there as well. For this hx stomp video what sort of guitar are you using? and is this tone with an IR or is it with the IR bypassed on the hx stomp? I just picked up a hx one. looking forward to trying it out. anyways if you feel like sharing any more specifics about the sound I'm curious to know which amp model and ir is used for this tone. thanks!
Thanks! I mainly use two guitars. One is a Charvel DC-2 (with passive Seymour Duncan humbuckers). The other is a Fender Player Jazzmaster (CME model with Pure Vintage '65 Jazzmaster pickups). On both guitars I mostly use the neck pickup. I mostly use the US Double Vib amp model on the HX Stomp with its default cab. I don’t use external IRs. I record direct from the HX Stomp with no extra plugins, EQ or any kind of post processing. You can see my guitars if you go to my Instagram profile and check out the Guitars story highlight.
Ahhh cool I thought I heard a charvel in there haha. And what do you use to get into the computer? A had Apollo or something like that? I’m in the market for a new converter and your recording have a lot of great detail. Curious as to what is doing the conversion. I know some of the stuff like the pod go will act as its own audio interface, but I don’t think the hx stomp does that?
So if the HX stomp is going into the hx one mono where are the two stereo outputs from the HX one going? back into the HX stomp? Then into the computer via USB?
@@jasonvrabe HX One is in the HX Stomp fx loop. Guitar goes into the HX Stomp and the fx loop is routed inside the Stomp. The fx loop block within the Stomp signal chain is placed between the amp and the cab, similar to how a pedal in the fx loop of an actual amp would be placed.

wild what this pedal can do! that particle verb melts my brain in the best way. great video as always!
Thank you!
It’s the stuff like Particle Verb that makes HX One go from being a basic multi effects pedal to an actually inspiring tool.

The shuffling one seems like maybe a chase bliss blooper sorta deal, thats pretty cool
@@benjaminfowler4513 it’s gets even better when combined with other effects. The only downside is not being able to record overdubs.
I love this... Love my M5, but it's so big and heavy I don't usually have it on my pedalboard now. This seems so much more powerful now 👀
I’m getting mine in 10 days. This is really really useful to start understanding how I can employ this pedal. Thanks!

@@DoNoise it's more that I like to have 1 delay pedal, 1 reverb pedal etc. so I can combine them

If you keep running out of DSP to add in effects then this would be a great companion to an HX Effects or Stomp.

@@DoNoise lol, true! I have one of those too :)
Cool tone. What is the actual guitar sound? The dry signal…
HX Stomp running a clean Fender style amp model.
Thx for the reply!

How does the normal looper work?
Can you only loop your dry signal or can you loop with different effects?
You can’t use the looper and run other effects on the HX One at the same time.
