이 작품엔 추운날 손끝이 시려오는 고통을 참으며 홀로 적막한 고뇌와 몰두로 배고픔도 잊은 채 밥 때를 놓쳐버린 수 많은 시간이 깃들어 있고, 나무 톱밥과 먼지를 뒤집어 쓴 옷과 거칠어진 손, 그 모든 인내와 희생의 시간이 오롯이 들어가 있으니...명작이 품은 이야기가 그렇듯 안타깝지만 아름다운.... 이 작품이 그렇네요. 작업하시는 과정을 담은 영상들에서 왠지모르게 나의 할아버지, 아버지의 모습도 문득문득 떠오르고 , ...안타깝지만 아름답네요 거칠어진 손과, 영혼과, 작품에 뭉클한 감동이 전해져 오네요. 작품 활동을 하시는데 항상 건강과 행운과 행복이 함께하시기를 바랍니다.

Your designs are my all -time favorite design. Truly remarkable. I love watching you create your work. Question: At around 5:30 in the video and beyond, why do you have so much detail under the table with the dovetail cuts that not one person will ever see?
Thanks, I used that detail for technical reasons.
That is done to keep the table surface flat for generations to come. As he notes - technical reasons - in his reply.

The dovetail joinery on the braces on the underside is the most insane woodworking thing I have ever seen.

only gripe, sir is wearing hearing protection, but giving us the full beans. ouch to headphone wearers.
Looks nice. But too many hard, edges. Great for adults only, no place for a family with little ones. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
