A Visit to the New England Quilt Museum: Part I

- Just outside of Boston in the old cotton mill town of Lowell, MA, lies the stately New England Quilt Museum. This museum, coupled with the Lowell National Historic Park, featuring tours of the well-preserved water-powered textile mills make for a utopia for any quilt or textile enthusiast.
In Part I of my summary of the day, I show you an overview of the museum and the cotton mills, the quilt museum gift shop, and the "Yellow" quilt exhibit currently running.

Great video. I’m inspired to visit the museum. I love Carol’s Cards! They are beautiful cards for many occasions. Carol lives in my town. She is a lovely person. Very creative.
Thanks for making this video it was very enjoyable to watch. I live in MA, I quilt and have never been to the museum! I do have one of their books I ordered online and it's on my list to visit for sure!

What a fun video. Having a exhibit based on yellow is interesting. We have a quilt musuem here in Virginia that i need to visit sometime during the summer. Looking forward to seeing the next parts of this series.
Yes, basing a quilt exhibit on a color is a great idea. I always struggle with yellow, so it was inspiring to see how others have used it in their quilts.
