Ive been trying to do this for weeks. Watched 3 or 4 guides. nobody said anything about what your talking about with the speed of clicking on the rock determines success. I also had this problem with fishing and gave up because nobody said what you just informed me. Thank you sir.
I love people that take the game to the next level and really know what they're doing. Very in depth video and I can tell you put a lot of time into this, and I don't know if people realize that or not but I do and I appreciate it. Don't understand where the hate is coming from in the dislike bar
Mining is by far the hardest tick manipulation skill, crazy how you did 200m of it. Congrats.
he used a mousekeys variant 3rd party program w/a macro probably, which for some reason wasn't an instant ban sadly at that time. He didnt do all that clicking himself, im sure of it. Especially after seeing some of his forum posts talking about it. Huge let down when i found out pretty much all the top players were using tools not everyone was aware of and using. Now its bannable, too little too late though, with all the 200m hiscores. He fails to mention this like most of the top players.
He didn't abuse it, I mostly see him using it for dropping and for same features as mousekeys.

How could anyone dislike this guy? If anything he is lessening the total amount of time anyone has to play this game substantially. Efficiency in rs is part of the beauty of the game imo.

Great guide! Around 3:40 you say you need more than 1 type of clean herb, but you didn't mention that it had to be guam, tarromin, harralander or marrentil. just a heads up :p

Idk a lot about ticks but poeple can try to do it without swamp tars, just before the pickaxe hit the rock drop a granite and click again the rock 2 times more. The movement to the next rock doesn't change but at least u can mine the rock "kind a fast"

@@Innetna it is not. Re mapping keys is fine as long as its still 1 to 1. Its only banable if your one click is performing multiple actions in game.

Last week I was doing some lower level iron mining. At around level 31-41 I could get 25k+ xp and bank the iron ore. I thought that was pretty nice. But then again, I am no expert in maximizing efficiency. I did it by using ardougne cape and castle wars teleports to travel and the iron spots at the monastery to mine. So what I did: I click on one iron rock. Then, just before the pickaxe makes the downward motion, I click on a rock that is accessible from one of the blocks 1 step from the place I am standing. After the player makes the walking animation, the second rock is instantly mined. This way I could keep 2 iron rocks constantly gray. So what do you think? By the way, it only seems to work with an adamant pickaxe.

I hope you reply from I don't understand using the swamp tar on the herb. The swamp tar is stacked and you only have one herb? When I use clean guam on swamp star the herb disappears and becomes 15 guam tar. Like why doesn't your herb disappear? Where's your guam tar? How do you keep only using just 1 guam herb? Like wtf

I just wanted to let you and everyone else on here know that you can 3 tick without other items. I'm not sure if this has been found out or not but its a lot easier now the release of the shift key drop. basically if youre powermining iron ore you get your first ore then click your second iron rock and as your character starts the animation you drop the iron ore then click the rock again as quickly as you can and you will insta mine the ore. Its all one fluent motion after a bit and you dont have to worry about your invo filling up at all.

What happens if I use the tar, click on the next rock, drop the ore, and click back on the rock, but still see my character's pickaxe raising animation? Does that mean I am not dropping the ores and clicking back to the rock fast enough?

Hey Autumn, you should do a clue scroll series for the new emotes, and other rewards that come from completing a certain amount of clues. I would assume those would be completionist since they are untradeable, correct?
Also you forgot to mention this area is for high levels only...

You can't 3tick farm having waterskins on you....
regen bracelet and hp cape out heals the desert damage. taking damage doesnt fuck up the cycle but drinking waterskins does, if you dont have access to hp cape, regen bracelet and couple brews with u should be fine
@@Th3p1x3lhugg3r i know this is late but waterskins actually don't, they just make you do a different animation but you still mine it, i do it with waterskins and it works fine
Sometimes when I use my tar on the herb it doesn't trigger and I just walk to the next rock. Anyone have advice on how to stop this?
As I am brand new to this here's a few cool things. I found regular mining the iron and practicing the dropping between rocks before i started using tar has been easier. Also, what could a level 3 use in the desert for heat?
I am so good at the 3t mining, but being able to drop the ores is such a pain in the ass I swear.
can you do this for iron rocks where you don't have to move?
hey completely off topic but is it possibly faster while rc'ing to have your essence on you noted and to just use it on a bank to then fill pouches/inv rather than going through all the interfaces? for instance with astral's and the only time to open bank would be for a stamina pot
If you can bank decently fast, no.
Is this possible with slow internet? My lowest ping is 215, so i do feel a delay whenever i try this.

i am good 3 tick fishing. would it be worth to 3 tick mine at 61 mining or should i just powermine to 70 first?

Yes, I think so, since if you try to continue the cycle starting from the 2nd tick you'll just fuck up.
I'm having trouble with rocks not spawning before I need to move to them. I'm doing 4 iron at ardy quarry. I don't feel like I'm fucking up, i try high pop worlds but they have higher ping and I still get this problem.
probably way too late but for iron ore you need 5 rocks =) ardougne mining spot for example

Brett Carson hey man don't forget dropping your dog before you get in the car at the right second at the right time of year whilst doing the action of hopping into the drivers seat to get to the appointment can save .1 seconds.

Yes he does, and no it's not as long as you make sure it can't do anything more than mousekeys can do. Mousekeys are not against the rules but are restrictive in their customisation so people use AHK as it can do alot more/better things than mousekeys can.
For example my ahk script is:

3::Click

This means every action does only 1 thing, a 1:1 ratio of actions. This is allowed and not against the rules. Having some like the "q::Click right" command also do something like "MouseMove, 0, 40, 1, R" in the same button press is a 1:2 action and is against the rules.
Auto-clickers are also against the rules.

Ironman Firehero It shouldn't do as it's not teleporting but rather moving really fast. Bot scrips teleport the mouse around the screen so it's easy to detect that. But even if it did it should be quickly found out that you're not a bot by viewing it for more than 2 seconds.

Mining is the only skill worth doing this for imo as the majority of others are pretymuch afk anyway and this is little extra effort than just regular mining but for a hell of a lot better xp rates I personally afkd 99 skills like wc fishing etc but I will be using this when I get around 2 getting 99 mining I need to first ruin my perfect op 77 CB pure by getting 99hp first to use regen bracelet and Hp cape :( rip op build 60 attack 99 str 1 def 99 range 99 Mage 89hp 31 prayer CB 77.93 but... The road to max maxed pure must continue pking and staking it has been fun rest in pieces when I break the 80 combat barrier into the shitfest levels where zerks and voids dominate lol but the end result will be worth it only a few 99s left to get slayer Hp and mining

It's not required, but it does make it easier. B0aty does 3t 4g without mousekeys, I did a bit here and there but just couldn't be bothered to most of the time.

+Kalle Scapes you can use the same tar method used for fishing at woodcutting. you could also use a blowpipe to 3t wc, or raindeer hat 3t.

I'm having a problem with my camera while trying this out. I know you mentioned the camera moves on it's own, but I can never get it back to it's original position. Mine not only moves, it also seems to zoom IN more than it's actually possible to zoom in, messing up my clicks after like 5 mins.
your camera does that as an anti-botting measure.
It just turns my herb into tar when i use the tar on it? lol.
