I lived in Twin Falls in the 80s. Overall, it was not for me but I did like the weather there. It may be too cold for some people, especially for those from warmer climes, but I found the winters there to be mild to moderate. Of course, I grew up in upstate New York. The one aspect of the Twin Falls winters I did not like was the number of overcast days from around Thanksgiving to around mid-January. I suffer from seasonal depression and found the sunnier winters in Reno and northern New Mexico, where I have lived since leaving Idaho, to be more to my liking. Except for this short stretch in the winter, the weather in Twin Falls is quite sunny. Twin Falls gets snow that stays on the ground for a while but snowfall is not massive. Springs were very short and it seemed sometimes that you would go from winter to summer. Summers were perfect, with days in the low to mid 90s and cool nights. Humidity is also low. You could do a lot worse weatherwise, especially if you are looking for a relatively mild climate that still has four seasons.
