In today's Lego City update it's time for some storytelling - I'll also show you what I've been working on together with my brother over the past months!
I don’t think you truly understand how thankful your English speaking viewers are for all the English commentary the last year. We really do appreciate you, Marcus. 🙂
things to add: - hospital + ambulance(?) - fire station - power generation area (solar pannel array or even wind turbine moc? Turbines are big enough that a lego motor could fit into the generator section of the turbine at minifig scale) - skiing mountain :o - beach
Small elements I think would look nice in the docks: Drying fishing nets People fishing with rods Someone who's dropped something into the water Love how the story is expanding all the time.
When I was a kid, I had a dream about buying an abandoned hangar or something, and filling it all with lego. Like different cities with airports, a sea, underwater stuff etc. This man is almost living my childhood dream! :P
When you panned over to the waiter with even more pizzas, got a real laugh from me. Great additions, and I love the little stories. The two basketball players is so simple, but adds so much to the life of the town.
Also another idea for the museum - you could add motorized rods in each of the corners of the buildings that would raise the roof once every few minutes or so - that way the audience can see inside the buildings 😊
I agree but I think it would be more fun if it was a button you could press. That way it's more interactive and the guests have to explore the layout more actively 😄
For the record, I appreciate how the colors of the restaurant tablecloths coordinate with colors of the outside window awnings, so that stood out to me more than a chessboard effect. Now that I've been watching your series for a while, I enjoy when you pan across the city and I see a detail and think "I was there when we added that" even though I'm just sitting at a computer vicariously experiencing this whole thing :)
With the addition of the new squirrel piece I feel you can make a really fun side story about squirrels trying to take over the city. Or a squirrel underground crime ring. 😂😂 it can be like a squirrel version of the counterfeit money story. Maybe there’s even a giant walnut heist at a store or something 😅
Love this episode - like all your episodes! I have a small idea - you could put a small round tile in the barrel by the police officer, so that the audience can see that it is money in the barrel and not just something green 😊
Something interesting for these MOCs when you get them all moved could be a sort of Where’s Waldo checklist (maybe with pictures) of the various stories that people can find throughout the city, so they can have fun spotting stuff. And if you tell them ahead of time that there is stuff to look for, people will see the city’s story as having some intentionality to it. You could also direct people to the various stages of the counterfeit story similar to the board game Micro Macro.
Man muss wirklich die harte Arbeit und das Engagement lieben, die in diese Stadt gesteckt werden, es ist hart, gleichzeitig an einem Museum und einer Lego-Stadt zu arbeiten.
The really interesting thing about this immense build (to me anyway) is that no matter how much Lego you have, someone always has the part you don’t have. I’ve got a huge amount of Lego, no where near this amount, but I’ve got a huge amount of variety. Even basketballs! I need to make some time to build something soon.
I thought robinhood bricks had the best lego city on CZcams but yours might take the cake. The biggest problem I have with 99% of lego cities are that they are all flat and do not incorporate terrain into their cities. However I still love robinhood bricks "stacked and packed" aesthetic and he does incorporate different levels but on your build, I love how it looks like the terrain was there first and the town was built upon it. Even other cities that incorporate terrain usually do not look like natural terrain.
That Pizza thing reminds me of a game called Lego Island! I loved the game so much, you played a Pizza Delivery Boy who would save the island, did races etc. It was super fun!
I love the stories that you’re using for your city. The new interiors look great. Really can’t wait for the museum to open and to watch your city grow. Really looking forward to the Star Wars build.
Best series ever. Cool that you also show some behind the scenes, not only lego itself :) Every new video motivate me so much! I hope I will start building my own lego city soon
This is the first full video I’ve seen of your city, and already I want to live there. It has more vibrance and personality than all the cities I’ve ever been to.
You really scratch an itch nobody else does on CZcams at the moment. I really enjoyed binge watching all of your content when I discovered your channel last year, I'm really looking forward to your videos each week!
you should add some rock climbers or some daredevils jumping from the rocks to the water, that could add some more life to that area. Thank you for the amazing content!
I just gotta tell yah man, I never thought I would get into LEGO building videos. But man, your content really shows how fun and creative the hobby can be. Like all of your english speakers, thank you for making an english version. Cheers from New York! 🍻
I like the little stories you can spot around town that connect to a larger theme! My only concern is the basketball hoop is in front of the train tracks and any missed shots could put a ball on the tracks…
There was a point where I thought "Having criminals in your LEGO City seems a little out of character for LEGO. I mean yeah, bandits and stilly criminals who want to steal an ice cream truck makes sense, but counterfeit money? Seems a bit far..." But I've remembered just how strange and occasionally grim LEGO gets with their own sets, so I suppose it's fine
I shouted out yes when I saw the notification for the Lego City Update. Every time you upload you make my day. I am so thankful for your lego city because it inspires me to build with legos myself.
I went to the Little Canada exhibit in Toronto a few weeks ago, where they had miniature versions of several cities and landmarks of Canada, and they also had the lights dim on a schedule to simulate day and night. Would be very cool once that’s integrated in your Lego museum (and I’d definitely hope to visit it in the future).
If I lived in this city, I would definitely use that rocky part by the beach with the dense trees to smuggle my illegal building techniques
Yo, its the other lego guy
I love to watch your videos
Haha I love your video ty keep uploading
If u do smuggle them, can I work for you?
@@myroslav_berehnyi absolutely. I’ll let you know when Jon applications open
This is the most comforting series of all time. Never stop expanding your city!!! ❤
Very true. Always therapeutic to watch
He’s gonna need to buy his neighbours house at this rate !😂
@@Mccaigg naaa the museum he's going to use will cover it 👍
@@bricktopian never underestimate the power of brickcrafts.
@@Mccaigg haha yes😂😂
I don’t think you truly understand how thankful your English speaking viewers are for all the English commentary the last year.
We really do appreciate you, Marcus. 🙂
you don't speak for me!
Same here. Thanks so much for all the great content!!
Yeah true
@@raoulmoat6762 Why not.
I speak German, but I don't really understand Austrian German (sorry blame my school)

Idea: you should hook up a sewer drain poking out of a cliff and have a prisoner crawling out of it like he escaped jail.

Yea, because as is, almost all of this interior detail is only for him and the videos.
@@fuzzypancake123 That’s a great idea!
Could probably be done with LEGO Mindstorms too
You always been the main Lego builder that’s I’ve followed! Your work is incredible and insanely detailed! Keep it up man🙌

It would be cool if you rebuild a real city in smaller like new york!
Can’t wait to see the city in the new location 👍

The tables blocking the door 😂😂😂 5:45
In one of the empty buildings you could build a tiny version of your lego museum.
Man muss wirklich die harte Arbeit und das Engagement lieben, die in diese Stadt gesteckt werden, es ist hart, gleichzeitig an einem Museum und einer Lego-Stadt zu arbeiten.
for the sunrise I would suggest a lighter shade of Orange, and for sunset, a darker shade of Orange.
On the video, it appears Pink and Purple.
4:25 that is.... a really dangerous place to play basketball lol
1. train tracks nearby
2. restaurant windows

Love the story telling around this city! Just gives it so much life. Would love to come and play and make some stop motions in your city!

Adding a mechanism for the boats to rock from side to side a little bit in the harbour would look neat :)
What an extraordinarily immersive build! I love how you are able to craft stories around the city and it’s inhabitants!
This man is singlehandedly building a full on live action LEGO movie set! I love these videos.👍
Maybe you could have a story of a bank heist, either a getaway or one in progress. It wouldn’t be done by the mafia, because they bribed the police.
I think the small cave in the smugglers bay would be absolutely awesome addition. It would nicely fit that L shaped valley.
I really love this Town!
If day and night happen at the speed you showed, i'll only be abke to think one thing.
MADE IN HEAVEN! TIME WILL KEEP ACCELERATING!
This is simply incredible! I love the storytelling and how your city looks! Definitely an inspiration, keep up the great work!!
This is unbelievable! Keep up the great work guys!
your updates always blow me away. love the day/night cycle idea!
It would be cool if the mafia had a tunnel to the rocks from the main hq for transporting money. :)
Amazing build! Love the content, well done!
I think that a detective spying on the smuglers would be awsome🙌
Wow! The light project is amazing!
A true master of your craft. I adore watching this series ❤
That Pizza thing reminds me of a game called Lego Island! I loved the game so much, you played a Pizza Delivery Boy who would save the island, did races etc. It was super fun!
Incredible work and relly detailed!👏👏
I realy like the scene with the hills, sky and the half-timbered houses, it looks just so amazing!
Wow. Your creativity is amazing
love the way you do the rocks my dude! always great seeing your lego city
I love the stories that you’re using for your city. The new interiors look great. Really can’t wait for the museum to open and to watch your city grow. Really looking forward to the Star Wars build.
Very impressed with your brother's lighting, this will bring so much life into the city.
you can make a street light that blinks / is off then and put some lego figures up so it looks like that are trying to fix the lamp.
Hi great videos love them😊
Glad you like them!
Really amazing tile flooring, I couldn't imagine planning those studs before
Amazing episode. This is the best looking lego city on entire CZcams, and my source of inspiration for my builds.
Always exciting to see another lego city update in my subscriptions😃
Your lego city inspired me so so much, Thank you 😁
The day-night cycle looks awesome, big kudos for your brother who programmed it :D
Wonderful.
That city could use some birds all around, seagulls near the water and smaller birds near the houses.
Always a welcome surprise to see a new video pop up, keep on going man.
Been waiting for the museum update. The day/night lighting is fantastic!
Most beautiful Lego city series❤️❤️

Youwe inspired me to start my own city built from the ground up, seriosly thank you for doing what you do!!! ❤❤
This has heen really helpful for me, im building a waterway thing in my city, and this has been a huge inspiration!
Great work and videos like always !
If only there was a stop motion animation filmed in your city! That would be incredible! Amazing work!
Awesome video! The pizza scene is great! And the basketball scene! Thanks for making these videos!
Great Video as always!
Another awesome episode/update, thanks so much!
Absolutely love the updates!! An idea with the cave, there could be an old shipwreck integrated with it or further on, stunning job as always!
You really scratch an itch nobody else does on CZcams at the moment. I really enjoyed binge watching all of your content when I discovered your channel last year, I'm really looking forward to your videos each week!
This is so awesome - probably the best I've seen!
I've really started to enjoy watching these videos.
"Export it to a neighbouring Lego city"... lol I love that line.
you should add some rock climbers or some daredevils jumping from the rocks to the water, that could add some more life to that area. Thank you for the amazing content!
I would love to see a bigger harbour with those big cranes that lift containers, where you could continue the mafia story on a bigger scale
I just gotta tell yah man, I never thought I would get into LEGO building videos. But man, your content really shows how fun and creative the hobby can be. Like all of your english speakers, thank you for making an english version. Cheers from New York! 🍻
I love the story telling!
The day/night change reminds me of Choo Choo Barn, in Strasburg Pennsylvania.
Beautiful work
FINALLY
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS
*Wonderful!*
Brilliant as always
The video is great as it always is! You should build a small lego airport. That’s what it needs, but it’s good enough! 😊
Amazing Update
A log cabin with a wrap around porch in the mountains would be cool.
Awesome! ❤️
The lighting is such a good idea!
You should switch the dingy for smuggling and use a fishing boat so they are at least trying to hide it.
love your content so much man i wish you uploaded more often😣 cant get enough of ur content
Fantastic!
Can't wait to see what you build next
I would extend the cave to the outside by having a mini "secret" beach connected to it with a couple of teenagers playing there.
I like the little stories you can spot around town that connect to a larger theme! My only concern is the basketball hoop is in front of the train tracks and any missed shots could put a ball on the tracks…
I love these videos SO MUCH

I love the interior designs despite how painstaking they can be 🔥

This project is so cool!! I wish I could have half your skill!! Good job and keep building! :D
