The Tahoe is the Apostle to the Full size SUV's and I love it.
The Chevrolet Tahoe is the King Actually
Can’t imagine how the Yukon and Escalade face lifts are gonna be😮
I know right!
@@RaitisRidesWell we've already seen the Escalade iQ so we know how it's gonna look for the most part.
This is a good point@@MurseTech64
I can't wait
Escalade already got it’s facelift
It looks really good and it's great to have the Duramax engine for the Tahoe.
Finally Chevy's interiors match their beautiful exteriors.
Finally a modern column shifter and not the awkward button setup. I thought it was bogus that they claim that column shifter takes up space but the button shifter does not.😂😂😂
That generation should have just kept the old school column shifter. Very Saddening but I guess prices are too high for that.
I missed that in the press release. Interesting!
What's up with the wooden shelf along the dash, lol
I like my Yukon’s buttons. 🥹
Absolutely love this. I was looking at the 2024s, but this is so much more refined and nice looking on interior, I'm going to wait for the 2025 and make do with our current ride.
Now if they can just fit options for upgraded sound systems and ventilated seats on the RST that would be ideal.
Thanks Joe! I was close to pulling the trigger on a 2023. Now I'm waiting for the 2025!
Must be nice to afford things like this
Lol i wish i can afford this too
We poors wish we were you
So glad they added the column shifter back!! This car looks sick!
Hands down you make the best car reviews my man props to you🤙🏽
It’s beautiful. I’m glad that they have a column shifter now. If only they would bring back the adjustable foot peddles, I still love it regardless and can’t wait to see the Yukon at4
A great review Joe, as usual. Glad Chevy is stepping it up with infotainment screens. The updated style looks very good. Finally, the inside is updated. Like the gear changes on the steering column. We are empty nesters and don’t need such a large vehicle. Do a lot of in town driving. These large boxes hard to park and maneuver in crowded traffic areas. My Santa Fe SUV so easy to maneuver and park. I am spoiled with its maneuverability. Yeah, it’s smaller but adequate for our needs. At gas prices at $5.00 per gallon, one must either be prudent or rich to drive these large vehicles especially around town. They are pros and cons, good job Chevy.
The interior is a major improvement.
Chevy did it really right!
That’s a great looking refresh. Joe I look forward to watching your videos great work as always
Thanks for the video guys! My go-to for car reviews. 👍🏽
Absolutely my favorite SUV. Drove a 2012 tahoe back in 2014 and was in love ever since. My second favorite would be the ford explorer ST
Looks great can't wait to start selling the re-design to our customers here at my dealership! Thanks for the live first look! Keep up the great work!
You are so very welcome! Will do!
Most people wont be able to afford it! I mean I make over 150k/year but after a 1200/month mortgage, insurance for my other vehicles, health insurance for the family, taxes, food, utilities, and ect, Do I want to add another 800+/month payment? This redesign will cause the mark up to go from 57k to about 65k for the base models!
Unfortunately in Biden’s HORRIBLE ECONOMY, many people cannot afford it 😮😢
@MrYodi2007 yeah they tripping with these car and truck prices
How much are you guys going to mark it up too!!
Totally beautiful and the Tahoe, Yukon, and Denali's etc are the standard bearers that all the other brands like Ford, Lincoln, Hyundai etc. all try to match with their own full sized SUV's.
Finally finally finally, we don't have Thomas Edison sitting in the taillight😂
I know right!
I wish Thomas Edison would come back. These new LED lights are BLINDING me at night while I'm driving 😨💥
Joe thank you for this. Great review like always
You are so very welcome!
I’m glad they enhanced the interior since the price is in the $60K bracket for a base model. I’m also glad they increased the diesel’s power figures. The torque was great on the previous gen, but the horsepower was a little low for me.
Beautiful suv I’m gonna really consider getting one definitely in that color just perfect
I’m so glad that you like this new Tahoe
I feel like Chevy finally caught up on the infotainment. When the complete redesign came out I was like ok they did a lot on the infotainment but felt it wasn’t enough. Now they got it to where it needs to be.
Agreed, I have been close to pulling the trigger on an upgrade from our 2013 Suburban 2500 but couldn’t get past the pyramid protrusion navigation system which was forcing me to consider a Denali. With this redesign the Chevrolet and Yukon LT trims are back as an option for my family!
Nice conservative refresh, the interior changes are well done.
It really makes sense that they went this route!
O Man i cant wait for this beauty beast to become available. I have the 2022 RST wish it blows im impressed and sure the 2025 is going to be a gorgeous beast. Cant wait. Please let know when we can start ordering.
Thank you for the presentation 🙏
Looks comfy. You’re right about the rear wiper 👍. I think I liked this better when it was a bit smaller
Things just get bigger & bigger
This is a great update, I love it!
GM is improving in this decade. Since the 80s their interiors have a poor reception from consumers. After seeing this latest model they're improving build quality and materials. The big change with this interior is there's way less hard touch plastics and more soft touches around the vehicle. GM did a very well job with this truck.
Wrong
There’s still a ton of hard plastics but much better than it used to be.
@sunchaser999 yeah. Despite all changes with door panel and front dash materials, the seats are like sitting on rocks.
@atg1338 wdym? GM interiors have been garbage for 4 decades. Now in this decade they've started to improve build quality and materials. Only thing they haven't changed are the seats. Besides that they've done a good job with this truck.
@@SeanAlegator they all have been the same for decades. Chevy had better interiors in the 80s 90s and 2000s over dodge and ford. They all have to much plastics and are similar. You sound like a gm hating lil boy
The new Tahoe Z71 looks amazing.
Tahoe is always my best SUV, I had one in 2012, it was amazing, will sure get myself a z71 one day. Thanks for the amazing video.
As always, great review Joe👌
Did they improve the paint? My 2017 Z71 Tahoe has issues with the clear coat.
Great Video review. Do you know if HUD is an option for the Tahoe or Suburban Z71?
Wowwwww the infotainment system looks just like the Escalade
Raiti’s Rides make the best videos ever 😊
I can’t do it without your support!
@RaitisRides or all those twinkies!
Great refresh! Can’t wait to see the Yukon refresh!
Column shifter! Thank goodness!
Love that color. I'm getting Colorado vibes from the front grille and that is a good thing. The Z71 Tahoe would really look nice if they did the two tone with the black on the top like I seen with some of the Silverado's. Looks really nice. Love those wheels. Major zonk on not having a panoramic roof.
Looks absolutely nothing like the Colorado
It's nice and I love Tahoes (had a 2007) also have 87 K5 Blazer the grandad of the Tahoe. But I'm not liking the switching to the lowered headlights. I think it looks better with them up top like past models. Makes it like it's trying to be a car.
Just confirming - can get the 3.0 in the Z71/AT4??
Love the redesign of the headlight housing, the whole suv is nice though.
Looks awesome but better yet they finally addressed the diesel option. I will buy!
Will the V8 torque converter and lifters last more than 20k miles though?
Thank you Chevrolet , for picking up your game, i wish the rear cargo area was lower so I don’t have to lift duffle bags as high, other than that i am impressed for the first time in a long time🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Looks great. Excited for what the refreshed Escalades will look like. May swap my 21 Tahoe then😂.
Excellent video Joe.
Solid video…as always!
Definitely love it. & I’ll definitely need the panoramic sun roof
I know how you feel
As always, great job GM!
Absolutely love this car!
Looks much better❤ any changes in the rear suspension level?
Amazing Video
Did GM fix the lifter issues in the 5.3 & 6.2 yet?
Got a 2023 Tahoe z71 last month should’ve waited for this update
I think you still did well.
Now I like this one. Thanks for the review.
Great review of a stunning vehicle. We’ve been looking for a replacement to our 2016 Escalade. This is it. How big is the gas tank? We just drove across Texas and having touring range is important. Do the engines require premium gas? How about a digital rear view mirror?
Very nice. We have a 2023 Z71 and we love it. Please put the sunroof back in and put the gears back in the dash. Great footage and commentary.❤
We have both. Never use the sun roof. Cooks us in the summer. Dash gear buttons break off.
I’m shocked they didn’t keep sunroof and i loved the dash gears.
im happy they switch center monitor.
Love the models and waiting for drivetrain options. On the packages for them too.. 2025! ;-D
I wish it had a panoramic view for when I’m not off reading an just cruising around the city or a scenic road or winding through the countryside or mountains with the family or the significant other. Everything else loooks aesthetically pleasing.
It's got the gadgets but it's sitting low for off-roading. Love that color.
I'm keeping my special ordered great running & looking 2002 Blazer ZR2 with rear Locker.
It sits higher than most of these new "Stock" trucks & 4x4 SUV's.
Nice update. Great video. Really like the new color. GM's last hurrah before all electric?
i would totally install a bull bar on the front
Now we are talking!
Yes I have a 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe I bought it brand new still driving it. In 2025 it will be 20 years old maybe it's time for me to buy the new 2025 Tahoe, is still have some features that my 06 have also new features in your 2025 Tahoe looks very updated. I might just wait a couple years and get that 2025 Tahoe Z71, but one thing I like to have regular unleaded gas in that Tahoe not diesel fuel. PS thank you for bringing out the new 2025 Tahoe. I will definitely be waiting for the unveiling.
I love it Thanks for sharing!
I'm liking everyhting about it except one thing and it's not that big of a deal but the black plastic panel under the tailgate glass...sensor for when you are standing at the back for hands-free lift or just cosmetics. It would be nice if it was body coloroed. Other than that, I can't wait to see it in person. Wanting to get one.
Good call
happened to see this color yesterday on the road and it was a really nice color.
That is really cool
@@RaitisRides, it was this exact Tahoe spec, this exact color, this is why I'm watching Tahoe videos. Lol
Yet its not out 🤔
@@atg1338 , well then it was a 2024 I don't know, it was this exact color.
@@atg1338 , People tell me the Cyber truck isn't out , yet I've been seeing them for months around my area.
I'm liking it better than the Sequoia gm has step there once again proud of gm proud to be an American very well done. To bad this wasn't at the L.A. auto show which I was very disappointed. Thanks Raitis Ride.
Love the new color! I can’t wait until the release. I want one!
They should have got rid of the Start / Stop Engine CRAP. Nobody likes it.
ain’t nobody wanna a raggedy ass key to start the car 🤣 I’ll stick to my push button start
Talk to EPA if you don't like the auto start/stop.
@@user-oi3zh7jn4pHes talking about the engine turning off when you come to a stop to save fuel. 🤦🏽♂️ cmon bro
@@supremeetnel7707 ok and what’s wrong that, he shouldn’t be mad that he can’t afford a bougie car that had that option
@@user-oi3zh7jn4pit’s a stupid option lol
What are the added standard features?
Wow, one of the best looking SUV's at any price point
I like it !! I have an 2006 Z71 with over 325,000 miles. I think I due for a new one : ) I like the smoother hood, and the lights are awesome . Great video I have pulled out Ford, Dodge, and Jeeps with my Tahoe. I can't say enough about it, other than It's an amazing truck !!
Love it! Of i could add anything, it would be 18s instead pf the 20" rims and offer alternative color interiors.(maybe they do?) Seems most off road factory vehicles only have black interiors. Would love some brown/grey/tan interiors.
Beautiful. Well done Chevrolet😎
They really did a bang up job!
"See the USA in your Chevrolet"....everybody sing. Nice vehicle....great video. Thanks Joe.
I really dig what they’re doing with a lot of the refinements that we’ve been asking to be addressed for so long. The headlight setup to me kinda looks like a science experiment. It’s a change that is borderline a little too radical. Resembles a lot of the new GMC Canyon. I definitely like when the headlights are positioned right below the hood line and not halfway down the front. And did they finally equip the Tahoe/Suburban with fog lights? It’s hard to tell and didn’t quite catch if you mentioned it or not. I’m a huge GM guy, I would still buy one even if it isn’t the prettiest.
Yes, he said it now has fog lights. No indication if that just applies to the Z71 or all trim levels.
I didn’t see the button for the pedal adjustment???
Nice to have handles on four doors for handicaps for support
Hi Joe- Thanks as always for the thorough review and a shout out to Mr. Flood for his super photography! I'm either buying the Tahoe or the Traverse (I just watched your review on the Traverse.) The Tahoe looks great; the inside tech update looks really good and functional. However. I don't hear good things about the GM V8s and cylinder deactivation. I know many people including professional mechanics who have purchased an override device which keeps it in V8 mode at all times. I know people who have had V8 engine failures and if one is out of warranty, GM will not assist.
Chevy Tahoe ROCKS .❤
Looks gorgeous!! My only issue is the size, drove the 2023 suburban and it was scary, like you’re in a modern moving house.
Agree…. The first time that I drove the 2023 HC Tahoe, it feel like I was driving a house…. It’s massive ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Youll get the hang of it, after driving the yukon for 2 and half years its like driving a lifted mini cooper
If GMC would put this amount of craftsmanship and detail in their engines as they do the cosmetics I would never think about buying a Toyota.
Not trying to be smart but what’s wrong with the engine?
Will there be a hybrid or plug-in hybrid version anytime soon?
Will Silverado 1500 get the same face lift and updates ?
"It will be powered by a 400 HP supercharged 2 cylinder hybrid. Starting MSRP will be $120,000 and replacement batteries will cost $45....thousand.😆"
Fuck the highbrow. Will sleep well without
These refreshed look on the materials and entertainment are so awesome
They knocked it out of the park
Whats up with GM not including window sunshades and ambient lighting in these vehicles? I know the upcoming Acadia in Denali trim suppose to have ambient lighting.
Very good points
Yea new GMC Acadia has nice ambient lighting, not overdone but luxurious. So I’m sure the Yukon will take that to the next level, maybe even offer sunshades in the rear and a ventilation function for rear captain seats.
Cupholders in armrest on 2nd row have to be telescopic (slide-out from it) - it will be much more comfortable.
Hi Joe, thank you for the great video. I really wished GM would put ventilated seats in the Z71 Tahoe 😏
Same here Julio! I am so glad that I can bring it to you!
Can wait to breakdown in the middle of the road, gonna look good waiting for that tow truck .
Always a big fan of Chevy Tahoe
Great upgrades, especially the column and paddle shifters, using push button down shifters in the mountains is unsafe requiring one hand on hovering over the button and on the steering wheel. My 2021 z71 has electric rear seat folding vs manual and a huge pano-roof, not shown but I’d expect that the ‘25 rear tail gate glass opens independently as it does on ‘21-‘24. I don’t get the infatuation with exposed exhaust tips, I’d say put the money back in to the electronic seats and/or panoramic-roof.
Yes its King 🎉
Great review. I’m going to get one.
Sounds like a plan to me!
I was rare ended in mid October 2023 in my 2023 Tahoe High Country. As of 14 January 2024, I’m still waiting on parts to get it fixed. 😡😡😡😡
Did they get rid of the amber turn signals that the pre-facelift one has?
Who cares... blah blah blah
Sorry, does it offer the Super Cruise option? Chevy only offers it on the premier and high country trim, on the 23 models..
Did he say no sunroof on Z71? Is that just for this one or it’s not going to be available at all?
Do you think the Yukon and the Escalade will get a facelift for 2025
I think there high chance!
Pretty much guaranteed on the GMC, on a recent test drive sales guy said they’d already been invited to preview it and get some info on it, he obviously didn’t (couldn’t) share details but with this Chevrolet drop it seems like 2024 MY is likely more of a short-run half MY and 2025 MY refresh will start being produced mid 2024. They have to expect this improved interior will push patient buyers to wait for 2025 MY availability.
I really, really hope they keep the foglights on the SSV/PPV version. I know the previous versions did not have foglight options.
