Keep digging, Agatha! Your research is excellent. And you’re right about the “appearance of evil.” Not only that, but a recovering alcoholic does not go get a job as a bartender. A “repentant” person who commits S/A with a child shouldn’t have access to kids again. Ever.
There actually have been AA members who have done that, but only after they've passed the stage where they get tempted easily. They were able to tell who could use a recommendation to go to recovery meetings, and who is not desperate enough for it.
Troy had a worse addiction though.

@VioletPersuasion Robert Troy Taylor was apparently (at some point) a roommate of Reginald Wayne Miller (JP's dad). Robert Troy Taylor is/was apparently a youth pastor at some point, is a convicted child S*x offender and currently owns an ice cream truck.....serving children. But, I had to look it all up....

I agree. I’ve watched the other videos but it’s been a while since she spoke of Troy. Just a quick, “you might remember me introducing you to Troy, who…blah, blah, blah” would’ve been helpful.
