- How to find PROFITABLE products to sell on Amazon in 2023! It's easy to find a product that sells on Amazon, the problem is that these products often aren't profitable. The real challenge is finding products that actually make money selling on Amazon!
In this video, I will show you how to do Amazon product research in 2023 so that you don't end up picking a private label product that will lose you money.
Many new sellers rush Amazon product research and they don't pay enough attention to the key metrics that have the biggest impact on a product.
Price: Amazon sellers should focus their Amazon FBA product research on finding products with an average price of at least £15, this is the minimum price point that will provide enough margin to cover PPC costs.
Sales: Amazon FBA beginners are well suited to products that only sell 100-200 units per month. These sales targets are much easier and cheaper to hit with PPC, so it helps reduce the overall financial risk.
Revenue: A sales revenue of between £3000 to £5000 is a good fit for most new Amazon sellers. Based on a 30% profit margin, this generates profits of around £1000-£1500 per month.

You say 30% margin or 80% ROI - is that before or after factoring in PPC?
I have 30% margin (just) but not before PPC. And not sure of the PPC costs…
