You are mistaken... not only is the angle Adjustable -there are a total of 10 different angles (locking steps)- and I have "adjusted" it MANY times within those angle whether for looking far-out or looking down within your immediate proximity. The fact that it also prevents accidental powering on/off -as you described - in its fully closed position is simply incidental to its design and a factor of its adjust-ability (not a substitute for it).
It's just a flip camera. I have better cameras, just didnt have the time to prepare a big production for a quick review. Talking of Flip cameras I have had three and although they are good they have failed me many times on the memory becoming corrupted during the transfer of precious footage to pc from the camera. epic fail... for flip.

dude the lamp is not adjustable it is a locking system so that a person does not press the poer botton by mistake
