Acadiana Regional Airport Access Road Project | Iberia Parish

Iberia Parish President M. Larry Richard speaks on the nearly-completed Acadiana Regional Airport Access Road Project. This is the first major roadway infrastructure project in nearly two decades for Iberia Parish and is expected to bring major commercial development, connecting the airport to the future U.S. Interstate I-49 corridor.
President and CEO of the Iberia Industrial Development Foundation, Mike Tarantino, CEcD, commented: "This is a great example of the infrastructure improvement going on right now in Iberia Parish. It's going to help us facilitate the creation of the Progress Point Business Park, a development concept that when completed, will be unlike anything else in Iberia Parish. With a great central location between Acadiana Regional Airport and the Port Of Iberia, we expect to attract a wide variety of businesses and non-traditional industries."
Fenstermaker Engineer Intern, Dustin Guidry, and Construction Inspector, Scott Courville, provide a thorough update on the construction timeline along with the processes involved in ensuring the project's integrity. In addition to being on-site every day to inspect the quality of work being performed, Scott was also responsible for operating the drone used to capture the beautiful aerial footage featured in this video.
