- Hi everyone! In this video there'll be a major relocation of my projects into a new workshop! More precisely Quadra V-Tech and Cybertruck will be removed into the workshop where we were assembling the Ramp Buggy.

You can find the load on the spring by using m = k*(L-L0)/g -> k = spring constant that depends on the spring -> g = gravity acceleration (9.807) -> L0 = length of the spring with no load (at nominal) -> L = length of the spring with load -> m = load

Is it on purpose that your videos sound exactly like "How it's made" ? I love it.
Not exactly sure if the translation wasn't spot on, but corner weighting is typically how you calculate what your vehicle suspension load is per wheel/tire and related components and a vital process for dialing in optimum handling (typically done on a freshly built race car for instance). Once you get it weighed per section, take your weights to a spring shop and they can set you up with the right combination of springs and shocks/struts for proper suspension, clearances and load capacity.
It's not quite as straight forward as "Car weighs x, divide by 4" as each component's location in the vehicle is distributed differently in both x-y (left right) and z (height) orientations. You should also account for driver and passenger weight when doing the balance.
The only way I know of for sure to calculate weights relative to suspension travel would be to take your carrier to a weigh bridge. Once you have the exact tare (empty) weight, write it down. Then run over the weigh bridge with the Quadra V-Tech aboard. Subtract the tare weight and you of course have the exact weight of the car. While empty, measure the position of the springs. Measure again when loaded, and work out the difference between the two, and you have a rough way of figuring it out in percentages

For all the time & effort you've put into the V-Tech I'd scrap the car w/in a car concept & weld up a Lg tube al. chassis w/the correct dimensions, get rid of those sketchy al. spacers, dump a ton of weight & have a platform for future iterations. Fiberglass deck of your own design? Think of how much easier it would be to work on. As it is it's very cool but the stresses of bumps etc... make it a slow show only car. You gotta wonder if it could be a rocket. light weight- nimble beast ? CDPR Ever shown any interest ? Might throw a few pennies at it, never know. Enough promotion might result in a supercharged V-8

Winch's power is more than likely its vertical lifting capacity not its capacity to pull something up a ramp. So it should be fine to just lift something up a ramp.
Winch's are rated in dead lift capacity.
A 3000lb or 4000lb truck doesn't require 3000-4000lb's of force to get up a ramp.
A 3000lb winch is likely good up to 5000-6000lb+ (you can check with basic trig how much force your actually using by solving for Hypotenuse)
That car deserves a V6 or above ;)
