Little correction: the oblique inferior muscle moves the eye up, not down
Haha I came to the comments to say this!
the lateral=horizontal canals are rotated in the same direction (here it is left) that the head is rotating towards but the "slow" endolymph does not move simultaneously and causes the stereocillia to move in forward direction in the left lateral canal and backwards in the right lateral canal.

I just found this online because I been have so much trouble with my eyes an seeing an yet it some how is affecting my left eye ear inner an the left inner an both inner ears are different I have trouble hearing in sound! An now it affecting the eyes but it wired because it is my sinuses that are affecting it as well I have allergies an also dry eye an so forth now a few years ago this all started after so much trama I have endured an loss an yet ex spouse abuse physical an mental an emotional! Now how will this affect the illness idk I wen to the ent an he was very much not helping he said my hearing is fine ! Me 😑 he also was rude to say my eyes has nothing to do with my ears or eyes 👀 but I feel as they do ! An yet I had also recently got diagnosed with vertigo an tintinus an these don't help I feel like the lighting is off in all areas reading out side lights an in now my last eye examination they didn't look for the last one be4 that soem where else they said one my left eye has a 1.5 pulp an that never been there! Also said the left eye behind the eye the nerves are or was idk all bunched together an a small flow of what ever going thur but is inflamed! An I went for the reason that I have been having a lightning bolt type thing in my eyes at random times it take out my vision I can't see anything in front view on side view barely at 1st I thought waht is this an it scared tf out me any way ! All I get told by both eyes drs is 1 I am near an far sighted I keep telling them these new glasses I can jot see out of them it too close they are bring it in an I see blury with it they say I need bi focals relly i can't see out of them everything to close ! Ugh mind u one eye see close an smaller the other eye see bigger an father it is very much different an they didn't even listen to consider it an my new gasses are both = an I can't see they complain to me that i am wrong but I am the one who is seeing this not them how they say i am! Point is no one dr has believed me that my eye is affecting my balance an my ears are effective my balance an my sinuses are too ! an yet I looked this up if the eyes can affect the ears an sinuses an the balance an I was led to this idk what or who I should see for this like what type dr would do this an help me gain back my sanity because as of now most dr think I'm crazy or nuts ! I don't like that

crasy story...from one of my new video someone point me at my Vod trouble...I just learn it...like less then 15 minutes ago...it’s crasy time...I had a tumor remove on the left side around the ear some years ago...they open my face 1/3 of the way...I can’t go left side when sleeping,and when I do...very painfull to move head left for a while...blabla,sorry doc.
VOR excercises are the ticket.
