Aldi, Asda or Richmond, results were quite surprising, price breakdown, taste, pork content etc, hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching 👍🏻 @razorg4421
I don't generally rate Asda's meat, but their posh (extra special?) sausages are probably my favourite out of the supermarket ones. I haven't tried the flavourful ones but I'll pick them up tomorrow, excellent review!
Really good, never got a chance to see the English brands. I like watching CZcamsr “Frank the Tank Fleming” but it’s all US brands. All sausage looked good to me.
Not that I can see, it does, it does say blended with our spices, but they are not spicy and don’t taste herby, i know what you mean, I like just pork sausages, I don’t mine messed about with, I think you would enjoy them 👍🏻
The best sausages ever, in my humble and honest opinion... Belcher's frozen pork sausages, £1.50 for 20, available from Tesco. I would have them over any and all other sausages, including much more expensive brands. You couldn't pay me enough to eat Richmond...they're absolutely rank.
jolly hogs from Tesco fantastic sausages for not much more then these one if anyone wants some great quality sausages great company 84% pork £3 for 6 400g but the quality is well worth it considering Richmond's is pricing there's near them is a joke for half the meat content and these are all free range pigs etc loads of awards just Richmond's need to wake up lol
I find Richmond very bland. Walls our favourite. Think they're £2.75 for 10 in Morrisons freezer section. Never shop in ASDA so think I need to try theirs 😋
Ya need to get on the Lidl sausages. Have had some absolute banging bangers from their ranges of sausages - and their continental sausage selection is excellent - like bratwursts and chorizo. Richmond still vile pap as ever!
Best sausage always from a butchers. Same as other meats. I know can be a lot more expensive but certainly high quality. The meat content in most of those supermarket pre packaged sausages is low.
I disagree on the Asda flavourful they don't taste any better then the cheap yellow ones to me. Better off paying a bit more for 6 Lincolnshire pork sausages.
How can you do a "sausage review" when all you buy is the cheapest muck. Heck contain the most meat (95% and very little fat) Co-Op (93%, but more fat) - you really don't have a Tesco or Co-OP where you live?
I am going to do a part 2 with other brands, I could not get heck on that particular day, yes we do have a Tesco & a co-op, they will be featured at a later date, and I would not call them the cheapest muck, it’s a comparison among supermarket brands, finding the best value and the best tasting sausages, I can go to local butchers and find sausages with 98% meat but there is no point, it’s all about supermarket own brands, unfortunately in this day and age not everyone can afford expensive high end stuff, but rest assured Co-op & heck will be featured at some point 👍🏻
@@fatandy I am a disabled 63 yr old-on a VERY limited budget. I consider protein content when I shop it's actually cheaper for me to buy Heck ( this is where value counts-not price per sausage, but price per gram of lean protein) and eat 1/2 sausages(depending on meal). Meals need to be balanced and contain 70% veg. People don't seem to understand that food=nutrition=life & health.
@@deepayne1930 sorry wasn’t having ago, just that I am going to do a part 2, in trying to find the beast value and tasting sausages out in the supermarkets, yes heck sausages are very good and like you say high in protein, I haven’t tried the pork ones yet, only had the chicken ones, which I thought was very nice, I will feature heck and the co-op ones in part 2 which will probably be a couple of weeks away, stay tuned, as this could get interesting with these sausages, the best sausage I have tried is from a local butcher called Seppings Beccles Suffolk, but expensive, I featured them in one of my videos several months back, I think the title was something like why you should try this place, it was a local fish & chip shop, have look. Thanks for watching my videos, I do value your opinion, thanks and take care Andy 👍🏻
You aint had a propper sausage yet eating those lol good review tho the co.op i find are best supermarket sausages. If you want quality tho you pay a fiver for 1 sausage
Totally agree. Nice low to medium heat, take your time and cook through thoroughly. People these days...lazy. That's all it is...lazy!! Please forgive the crayon, they don't allow me sharp objects here.
Great review as always Andy, I'm in Aldi most days 🤭 will definitely give them a go 👍
Thanks
Wow that’s really surprised me- I am going to get Asda flavoursome ones next time to try- thanks 🙏🏻
Hope you enjoy 👍🏻 thanks
straightforward, honest review !
Thanks
Most important comparison taste ever.
Thanks 👍🏻
Good sausage review Andy, I was never a great lover of Richmond sausages. Will certainly give the Asda sausages a go.
I don’t like them Richmonds to be fair 👍
Top man........
Thanks

The fresh Asda caramelised onion sausages are banging I must say
@@tomalex4806 I did the frozen ones a while ago, but I think the fresh are better 👍🏻
@@tomalex4806 Cheers mate I'll keep an eye out for them 👍🏻
Great review Andy , however sausages from your local Butcher are far better
Definitely agree mate 👍🏻

I am shocked! I only eat richmond. I will defo try asdas now!
No Andy No. I WONT COMMENT on your sausage.
😂😂😂👍🏻
Hi Andy, Has the Asda Flavoursome have herbs in them, I'm fussy about my bangers and I just like my Pork Sausages to taste of Pork, 🐷
Not that I can see, it does, it does say blended with our spices, but they are not spicy and don’t taste herby, i know what you mean, I like just pork sausages, I don’t mine messed about with, I think you would enjoy them 👍🏻

Richmond are over priced in my opinion for what they are, they ended up the most expensive and the least pork content in that experiment 👍🏻
I miss Bernard Mathews Pork & Turkey from the 80's, Deep fried of course !!
@@Danechip yeah I remember them 👍🏻
Richmond SAUSAGES ARE SHOCKING
I agree
Hiya mate, new subscriber. I would definitely rate the aldi ones 10/10
Hi mate welcome, yeah I agree, I buy the Aldi ones regularly

They sound good, I’ll have a look next time I’m on Tesco, thanks 👍🏻
I tend to stick to Richmonds but have tried Asda essentials, they’re ok 😊
Thanks 👍🏻
I find Richmond very bland. Walls our favourite. Think they're £2.75 for 10 in Morrisons freezer section.
Never shop in ASDA so think I need to try theirs 😋
42% pork Richmond and they like the most expensive that's shocking
Exactly what I thought 👍🏻
Try Waitrose, They are by far the best ever!
How much are they going for in Waitrose? Rip off price I imagine 🤷🏻
Which Waitrose ones, they do about a dozen.
Ive got a sausage you might like
👍🏻😂
Richmond
Tbh I go 80 plus meat because below that theres a lot of fat and derivatives but in a fish and chip shop they are probably 40-50%
I do agree mate, butchers are definitely better 👍🏻
Ya need to get on the Lidl sausages. Have had some absolute banging bangers from their ranges of sausages - and their continental sausage selection is excellent - like bratwursts and chorizo.
Richmond still vile pap as ever!
I have done a couple of videos on the bratwurst and I think polish sausages from Lidl, very good 👍🏻

Que receta nos tres andy luceté
Why people eat a Richmond dog is beyond me! It’s a pork dog with less than half the actual dog being pork!?. That boy can eat!
👍
Great review , Richmond are a con now , that proves that
I agree mate 👍🏻
I disagree on the Asda flavourful they don't taste any better then the cheap yellow ones to me. Better off paying a bit more for 6 Lincolnshire pork sausages.

All this sausage tasting, when are you going to come out??

Richmond's my misses wont even have them in the house let alone buy them lol i use to like them but gone down hill very quick nasty cheap sausages now
I agree with you, my Mrs doesn’t like them 👍🏻
Don't mind the asda essentials in a sausage casserole hate Richmond but the other 2 I would buy for a sausage cob anyday
Think I would agree with that 👍🏻
Me too, Richmond sausages are rubbish.
No need to watch….moral of the video is Andy loves a bit f sausage 😮
😂😂👍🏻
Aldi ones Oakhurst Cook From Frozen Thick Pork Sausages I have been banging on about Richmond ones for 2 years not good at all 42% not good at all
Really dont like the richmond used to get the frozen ones and some of them were like playdough 🤮
I agree with that not good 👍
The essentials ard nasy slimy and gloopy liquid came out of them the asda pricy ones are ok nothing special
👍🏻
