I think it's impossible to be a Goeff Neal fan. The dude hits harder than anyone else at WW but he's so inactive during his fights. If he'd actually tried he could have sent Garry to the shadow realm, instead he faffed about for 15 minutes.

The rise and fall of Ian Garry honestly makes me sad. As an irishman we have a really small list of sport athletes or celebrities that stand out. Conor McGregor, Katie Taylor, Cillian Murphy etc. We arent like countries like America, Russia or Brazil who constantly produce combat athletes so when we do get one that finds success we back him/her all the way. We did with Conor and we did it with Taylor but Garry is a really weird case. The more this man talks the more enemies he makes. Hes just digging his own grave at this point and when he came out and said he wants to now "represent" Brazil and to start wearing their yellow trunks thats when i stopped backing this guy. Conor gets a lot of criticism and not gonna lie a lot of it is deserved but for all his faults his love for Ireland was never a question. When he was active he not only was fighting to become the best but he represented Ireland and always fought for the flag everytime he stepped into that cage. Garry on the other hand has essentially jumped ship to Brazil from the name change to him trying to get Brazillian pass port. Hes a great fighter but at the end of the day hes a snake and i want to see him get smacked.
