He is a damn good entertainer. His skill with gun slinging is crazy good but to perform and keep up the energy without a crowd cheering is the sign of a great entertainer.
Well… as a show producer.. I can say that it’s basically a rule of thumb. That the audience won’t applaud if you never shut up. He talks way too much and too fast. Due to its overly rehearsed (and almost bored-sounding) delivery, they are trying to hard to even keep up with what he’s saying to watch him spin AND applaud. Audiences like to be relaxed while watching something. This performance lacks the timing and pacing for applause to find it’s way in. 🤷🏻♂️ my opinion
I've been watching a bunch of these gun handler videos and this man Joey Dillon is BY FAR the best I've seen! He is a master of his talent & should be very proud of himself. That audience is lucky to have seen that performance in person.

If I was a rich I would pay this man what he deserves. He is highly entertaining, has exceptional skills and is very funny at the same time with the right amount of sarcasm. Bravo!
I love it, bought a Pietta Griswold "1851 Navy" and then another a month later with an octagonal barrel for laughs. Shipped right to my door with no red tape, I couldn't resist spinning one and then both of them. This is serious talent, my hat is off to you sir, a lost art for sure!

What a lot of people might not understand here is that he is using a colt single action Army in his right hand and a Remington in his left hand, each with their different balance and weight. To control them both in unison would be a lot more difficult than having two of the same gun. This guy rocks!

the fact that he's not 100% perfect just adds to the authenticity! inspires people because it's achievable! like a racecar driver isn't perfect in every turn. just because he's got a big gun, doesn't mean he knows how to use it. this guy clearly has the sauce. they should have hired this guy for Rust. it might have been a good movie, with a happier ending.

I'm disgusted with this audience. Absolutely silent when this man is doing what has taken him 20 years to do. This same thing happened when I was at Universal Studios, and there was a Fire-eater there. Me and my friend were the only ones clapping while he performed, and I could tell he was hurt and disappointed. When me and my friend were the only ones clapping and making noise, he actually jumped off the stage and shook our hands because we were the only ones who appreciated what he was doing. These people are not worthy of his talent and skill.
