The Kia Proceed is available now in Irish dealers priced at just under €29,000 for the GT Line version. With tonnes of space in the boot and a coupe like design, this shooting brake style results in a Kia that actually turns heads!

I love Kia cars more than ever!
Great car superb I have ordered one keep up the good work 👍 great channel
Really like your video.
Nicely done ;) I will get my ProCeed next week.
Greetings from Germany :)
Guten Tag! What colour are you going for?
Very beautiful car. Looks like a very good value for spec too. It's a shame Ireland is not getting more powerful engine.
I've got the proceed GT 1.6T and I love it! Especially when you open the valves are open on the exhaust😍
What kind of fuel consumption are you getting from the car?
Also, is the ride comfort a lot different than the 1.4 version?
@@vjekan average fuel is around 30-38 mpg but depending on my journey and what mode I'm in and honestly I've not driven the 1.4 version but I think they ride on the same wheel and suspension anyway so theres probably not any difference.
@@jamesbabex ofcourse its a difference. the GT version has a tuned up suspension for more sport and 2cm lower. also the stiffness of front and back are different. the normal proceed is more comfy. if you buy GT-Line its more sporty, if you buy GT its much more sporty.
Nice car. Great value with it. Decent review as per usual :) The whole shooting brake/estate/station wagon thing has a bit of history. From what I recall shooting brake became associated with two door estate type cars? Though originally it was just a big car for yahoos to be transported to shoot grouse.
Guns and arms are the origin alright, just from the quick bit of research I did into the design of them. Looks well though I think!
I’m driving the Sportage and this looks like something I would look at as new car next year
I own one. Bought it last month ! Lovely car to drive. A great investment.
Could you tell how you feel in Sportage seats ? Aren't they too narrow, badly profiled ? You own leather version ?
Fantastic looking car. I went with the Xceed in the end though.
There is blind spot assist at least in the CEED SW Safety pack
Great review considering one off these.
A lot off ppl say road noise is an issue.
I’d be leavening a CHR hybrid CVT for this.
Can’t be much noisier then the CHR at motorway speed.
Also ppl prefer the manual to the auto.
Wot do U think.
Nobby.
I found it an engaging enough drive so I wouldn't be put off by a manual. I'd imagine an auto one would be a special order for Ireland.
Great looking car! The only letdown in the lack of a more powerful engine option. 140bhp is woeful!
There is a 1.6tgdi 204hp. How about that?
I don't need the space, but god dammit, I want that car. Its gorgeous. Needs a pano roof.
Agreed! Would add so much to it.
You can get it with a pano roof no problem
It has a pano roof
Dani Ruiz this particular car doesn’t.
Maybe it depends on the country. In Spain it has the pano roof on the GT Line stock config.
@nobby I Am undecided on this model in 1.6 diesel which has now replaced the Petrol model going forward thankfully or the Kia xceed plug in, I love the look of the proceed over the xceed, but will the xceed plug in save me so money at the pump that it’s worth it over the pro??
If you charge it every night you will run 40kms on battery easily
Love it, I think this might suit me instead of the Honda Civic 1.5 turbo ....what do you think ???
Youngblood68 I was also looking at the civic how do u find it. Looking at Honda forums it seems to have a fair few faults with it.
@@gavin6385 HI , NO i MEAN i DONT KNOW WHAT CAR TO GET YET lol , now i like as well the Mazda CX 30 ...I have until maj to make up my mind because thats when i will get one
Youngblood68 I have a Toyota CHR hybrid boot is to small on it and the cvt gearbox is so annoying horrible sound out off it if yur not gentle with the aul right foot.
I’m leaning towards the proceed or the civic.
@K H thanks for your reply , but bit too late and i went totally other direction and went for a SUV instead , the Skoda Karoq 1.5 2020 haha
No longer available to order in Ireland I was told today after kia dealership visit. Kia ceed can't be ordered in estate version either I was told. Choice dwindling for Insh customers.
"Kia" Killed in action 😅
I30 fastback cousin?
Very similar bloodline alright between the two companies!!
I just bought one and in 2021 there is a new engine i have a 1.5 160 hp
Hi, i want to buy a car with the same engine, can you tell me something about the car? How is the speed? Petrol consumption? Thank you!
Hi , the car is nippy and lovely to drive. I have 40k km's right now and not a single issue so far.
I use around 5.2-5.6 L/100km
@@geldoffhuygelberghs6533 thank you!
Another quick question, how is the accelaration? You cand feel does 160 hp?
I believe 8.6 seconds to 100km/h // 62mh/h
It keeps up very well in traffic.
Its faster then my ford focus estate and ranault megane grandtour. I barely lose from my uncles toyota raf 4 so i'd say no slug.. just good.
wrong there is 2 usbs in the front
We don't get this is North America.
It's a nice one!
You have the forte gt
Lol, all these review videos have the car's posterior in the starting image. Really the only good angle.
In an estate, the bum is important 🙂
