    We are On the Road Again, this time at UTV Take Over to recover some very stuck motorhomes. We are the Official Off Road Recovery Company for the event and look forward to being involved each year. Our expertise in extracting large vehicles and 20 years experience in Off Road and Recovery made Casey's Off Road Recovery a natural fit for the event. We are on the Beach to get everyone in and out of camp without tearing up the vehicles. We put the Nodwell, the 5 ton and the 3 Dozers to work most the week and take you along for the ride on a few of the recoveries. Thanks for coming along for the ride and Thanks for Watching. Casey
    Equipment used on recoveries is listed below with links, check out the guys that support or recovery efforts.
    Uncle Sand Crab from Off Road Stuff stopped by during the UTV Takeover. Give him a shout out and hello over on his channel!

      It's just all lockers underneath, the generator is up front and the tanks are between the lockers and the inside floor.

    That was pretty bad how that thing just dropped. I mean in the space of 12 inches it dropped 12 inches. Almost lost a backhoe in soil exactly like that. Walk on it and it's solid and dry. Drive onto it and you sink. Let the engine idle for a few minutes and you're now sitting in 6 inches of water where the soil is undisturbed. It's a scary feeling when that happens.

    • @TD_YT066

      It looks like 'ooblek' sand. Saturated with water, it's got weird properties, if you go fast on it, seems solid, go slow, it's liquid. But the 'solid' only works to a point, too much pressure and it 'breaks' and you sink. I've been on land like that, cars driving, left a wake in the land that followed the car.

  • @loveistheanswer8137
    @loveistheanswer8137 Před 2 lety

    You wouldn’t catch me getting my motorhome dragged through the sand. Most wont let a tow truck tow them without a low profile under reach wheel lift. I don’t think the front axles are recommended to hook on to.
