If you do rhcsa you will become a redhat Linux administrator. Not a developer. But its good to learn Linux anyways. But not necessary to go as deep as rhcsa.

It is possible. Just do not give up and learn from the job interviews. Try to remember some questions and notice what was difficult. Prepare for the next interview. The beginning may be difficult and it requires an effort and time, but eventually you will find a job as a developer.
@@venkatesh-conI do not agree it is too late. I know most of the developers are young, but 38 is also OK. The problem is, sometimes people do not know, this job requires constant learning. It is not a piece of cake. On the other hand, it may be a passion discovered late. Better late than never. It depends.
