To me it never was a song about death. I felt and still feel it is mostly a song about how deep and intense love can be and how being surrounded by darkness makes you wanna take the only glimpse of light you have, to a place where darkness doesn't hurt.
I feel you. The last two shows I went to they didn't have Gas and I missed him. It's great that Ville has his solo career going, but I would feel a bit sad if he played the oldies without the guys.

well tbf Vienna wasn't sold out that fast. I mean they start selling the tickets 1 year prior the when the concert will take place and I think it's sold out since September/October, so technically people had quite a lot of time to think about whether to get tickets or not.
@@ameyer901 a lot of us didn't want to go anywhere because of the covid passports, so we didn't even track anything that was outside our countries on time, because we were prisoners of the system.

Also a covid pass isn't a thing for quite a while and mostly they just checked if you're vaccinated. Well if you life in a countries outside europe. Especially china obviously I do get your worries about planning stuff early then and this doesn't apply at all.

I guess it's unfortunate then that you didn't know about the tour earlier but still idk how you would commute to your travel destination but like zurich and milan tickets are probably still for sale. Tbf I have to say the assumption I made earlier I did make from a quite privileged position of needing only a 15min walk to the venue. When traveling (even without covid) it's just especially stressful with appointments (you can't know about then) and stuff. So my appologies. Traveling to concerts is really expensive but if your travel destination you favored and you could be up for like very spontaneous trips I'd recommend looking on ticketswap and on resale pages. And fansale (the official ticketsale pages of pages like oeticket or eventim)
It's a shame how everybody is acting like HIM was all about Ville. His new band is a joke. No feeling, no emotions. Just playing it like a meaningless coverband. Man, do I miss the old guys... HIM was really special. Now this is Ville and the replaceables...
Maybe it works with his new songs, but I agree I wouldn't enjoy the old songs without the guys either. I think they just play these because it's expected.
