Shout out to this channel for uploading all these videos old and new. I just started listening to HIM again for the first time in years, and am about to see Ville Valo live again for the first time in 15 years! Forgot how great this band is and what a quirky soul he is. Cheers

I love him to death but he's very different now. His voice doesn't sound as deep and raspy as before and he kind of avoids eye contact, he barely opens his mouth when speaking... he seems very concious of his new teeth probably beacuse people keep pointing the fact that he got veneers. I wish he wouldn't mind what others say or think about him. We still love you, Ville.

Ok this is weird. I didnt care about HIM and Ville for many years now. I just stumbled upon this Interview and Im greatly surprised because it is so damn weird to see Ville not smoking and also his voice totally changed. His voice used to be very dark and rough and now its high and clear. His behavior has changed too, I almost dont recognise him. WOW, he really made a positive change in his life as it seems, thats really nice to see. I always found it sad seeing him ruining his body with nicotine and alcohol. Respect to Ville!
I think he has made a huge progress and a remarkable mental health work on himself. I am so proud of him, he was in a bad place many times. I personally don't miss the younger silly Ville, because he has became such a mature, extremly intelligent and humble person, who still has kept his dark sense of humor. It would have been a huge loss to lose a talent like him.🖤💚

He is not VV from ´00, so what?? I´m hipnotized even more by this wise, calm, but still so creative and witty man, who doesn´t need any "atrezzo" to feel OK on the stage. At the end of the page, good mature rum is always way better than young sparkling beer... definitely better digestion))
Oh god, so true every word. He has came a long way and he can really be proud of himself today. He has made huge inner mental health work and it shows, that's not easy. Nowdays his personality shines through even stronger and that's another reason to love him.

Thank you Ville..Love your new stuff. Wish you were touring nearby. Nova Scotia ' Loveletting' was a breath of fresh air. Did not find it too melancholic because of the sheep lol. I have always been 'black sheep'. I hope you own the sheep...lol. as said in a previous post I found the use of the umbrella slightly 'chaplinesque' no idea why. But that's your creativity that you 'evoke' Wishing you well 2023 on your tour. Looking forward to your new album 'Neon Noir' thank you!
LOL...The umbrella was for him to protect himself from the rain. It was a dark and rainy day. Don't you use an umbrella on those days too?

I thought long and hard about whether to send that off. And I also have no idea if you were serious about that part of question 5 or not. But there was a lot of rumbling in my head. And I just thought - friend ... No!
Art, any art, is a form of expression. You know that. Especially you!
I beg you from the bottom of my heart not to do this. You have no idea what you are doing. If you have children, get to know your children. And more importantly! Recognize your children. They are a part of you. They know what they need. How? Your children are closer to death than you are. They are just coming from there. So to speak. Therefore, they know better what they can do, what they need and what they are capable of than those who have been made to forget it by their parents' wishes. All parents want the best for their child/children. But most of the time, the family raises the BEST out of the children.
I am a survivor of this kind of benevolence. Others aren't. And now at 44 on the way back to me. Do I love my family? Yes, very much so. What I do know is that it's really hard and that everything that used to be considered true and logical is now different. And I have absolutely no idea if I will be reborn or die in the process. But one thing is for sure! I would rather die on my way to freedom than continue to live against myself.
Damatic? Yes! And? The truth!

Nice interview! But why does he feel uncomfortable around people?
VV mentioned various times in his interviews that he is an introvert actually who was turned into extrovert by need to be a frontman and to perform in general. Thats where a permanent cigarette and/or bottle on the stage comes from...
He has social anxiety. I have it too, but l think most creatives do, could be a hardware mixed with software glitch, born weird and have that aspect exacerbated by a world that fails to understand you and punished you for it. When the world both loves and reviles you, it is easy to turtle 🐢 up.
It’s just his nature. I am the same. I have given speeches to hundreds of people when needed, but I hate crowds. I’m happiest with one or two good friends.

No need to worry so much about the past and the future, you need to think about the present. After all, God is one in all of us, and no matter how the game of chess ends, God plays the game with himself. If until 2035 nothing will change in the spiritual plan of people, then He will not create a new similar planet for us. And so God gave us everything and gave us a lot of time, but man was never able to create a paradise Earth and learn how to create other planets. God's children have too many different "toys" and entertainment, a human child has no time to engage in divine magic, and even more so the creation of other stars and planets. Everything will be fine.
