In the past I have tried a few cheap sets like this where they were intended to be used in a regular 1/4” bit holder and like this one came with an 1/4” adapter for the precision bits.
The biggest problem with kits like this is that they cal develop a lot of slop / play in them after a while, this set does look nice and tight tho …giggity…. But who knows after 6 months or a year of regular use

KC Tools recently dropped Wiha from their catalog of tools due to their inconsistent quality.
I've owned many Wiha products with little to no problems. Do you feel like this bit set holds up to _"the old standards"?_

I recently bought this Wiha ESD microbit set, and theres a label "Made in Germany, Taiwan or Vietnam.". The bits that came with are from a variety of stamped and laser engraved labels. The stamped ones from what i read are made in Germany and the lasers are maybe from Taiwan. The pentalobe bits also are very strange. When compared with the Xiaomi/Wiha bits, for example P5, the Wiha ESD driver bit is larger. Wiha ESD driver P5 bit does not fit on Macbook pentalobe screws.

@@htr5372 oh then i must be wrong. It should be Vietnam then. Though i dont see any difference i quality except the sizing of the pentalobe. Thanks for reviewing this item!

@@htr5372 so i didnt perform due diligence prior to my replies :(. The "P" bits in this esd microdriver set are actually "PL" bits but the labels on the case indicated "P" (at least the laser markings indicate "PL"). A P5 would be equivalent to PL4. This is an expensive impulse Amazon buy that i somewhat regret buying. The xiaomi-wiha bit selection set is superior to this Wiha ESD set. The Xiaomi-Wiha includes Y-bit (used by Nintendo) and some Torxs have "H" (security bits) for some Leatherman screws. As an ESD bit driver, it should include bits normally used in electronics (in my opinion it should include the Y-bits (Nintendo), triangle - TA bits, the snake bite 2-dots TH bits, and only include P2 and P5 for iphones and macbooks. All Xiaomi-Wiha bits are engraved with sizes, as well as the "WIHA" logo (has more Wiha DNA than the actual WIHA ESD driver tool itself!). Pricepoint, the Xiaomi-Wiha is a fraction of Wiha ESD set. Next target... the iFixit tool set... :)

One four in tools is a different scale to one quarter. One quarter is 1/4",one four is 1 1/4"

These bits....and all Wiha bits rust so easily. I HATE it.
