Dennis! Quit manhandling that window sticker!😂
James Bond is living the life. Beautiful wife.
Probably one my favorite person you have bought a vehicle from. True car enthusiast and seems like super down to earth guy!
Finding Dennis is like finding a good doctor.
Dennis can tell the owner more about his car (that he's owned for years) in fifteen minutes than the guy ever knew himself.
Yup he’s so cool 😎
I am gob-smacked at the garages/workshops/collections that some some guys that Dennis visits, have. completely stoked at the content of these videos. The cars are " to dream of ". I never miss an episode. Well done, Dennis and team. WOW!
Right! Would love to know what some of these guys do for a living
@@jordanloeffler4879 maybe hunt , b
@@jordanloeffler4879 maybe hunt , buy , tinker , research then sell for $$$ , like most car nuts wish they could !
The mustangs of the 60s just kept on my radar when. I was in my 20s , It turns out the car I settled on was a 69 Mach 1 fastback with a big block numbers car . This car was in rough shape with the 390 replaced by a hi output 302 . It made me work for the restore , it needed everything but the truth , with youth on my side , I enjoyed the adventure of the experience .
My favorite part was seeing that Challenger drive out at the end 😊 who knew James Bond love mopar's 😉
Another excellent episode. They had some sweet cars there, I bet a lot of folks were drooling over that green Mopar that pulled out at the end.
I wish you could have given us a walk around this guy's garage and car collection.
I owned and restored #726, also a Brittany Blue/Parchment GT500
One of my best friends had a 67 Shelby GT500 with two motors when he sold it. A 428cj with two 4 barrel carbs on an OE Shelby intake in the car and a 427 tunnel port on engine stand. The folks that bought it live in Washington State. Great find Dennis and awesome video. Always treat everyone how we all wish everyone did. By the way his original color was Moss green with gold stripes, what was the production numbers for that color? It was an inboard light car that was built by Shelby also.
"original color was Moss green with gold stripes, what was the production numbers for that color?"
goimg dy my dook it would de color code "Y"
Zach your B roll and the editing is always awesome! This week again, superb!
Seeing that green Challenger drive out at the end was the icing on the cake. Great video.
I retired from Oldsmobile after 31 years and am a GM guy but I love seeing these old Shelbys. Would be cool to see you redo this one. Id go with the 427.
Was a pleasure to chat with you at the Eugene Airport today. So cool to see a rescue from my state make it on your channel. Hope there will be a follow up video on this Shelby when it’s done.
It was a pleasure to meet you, Ryan! Thank you for stopping by and talking to us!
@@DennisCollinsCarWorld well Dennis love your channel and all the stuff you do,,
Super cool story on the Shelby
That young man driving it and pulled up to let the cop catch up on him was a very cool story,,
Dennis you have more knowledge about old cars than every dealership around America and everywhere else,
God bless you guys and girls and Sean,,,
Watching your auction few weeks ago and it was very interesting,,,
Patrick from Ireland 🇮🇪 here,,,,,
The update is on the channel now Ryan.👍
Looks like James Bond rescued that car and gave it a a really nice place to stay for a while. I’m sure Dennis will take it to the next level on the restoration
Dennis, you and the guys are making a positive mark on the hobby. Keep it going.
By the looks of that guys collection you can go ahead and put the 427 in no need to dyno
LOVE the fact the he just happens to have THREE GREAT MOPARS just hanging out in his garage!!!
I would love to see Dennis visit Jay Leno's garage
I'm not an old school car guy. Not really into muscle cars. I just love Dennis and his Crew and the passion they have for these beautiful cars. This one was so cool. #OUTSTANDING
Shut up
I wonder if Dennis knows so much about his wife and kids as he does these cars.
Same here, never cared for these cars but the stories and people around it are what makes it click because without people and their actions so as reactions, a car is pointless without all that.
70s muscle cars are not old cars, pre 50s cars are old cars. Muscle cars are just cool older cars.
I always liked Shelby's.
It is great to see someone with Dennis's passion for cars. He looks past the raw canvas and sees the end result even before he purchases the car. Would love to see him do a coffee walk on this Shelby once it is restored.
Reality here is both of them know the value of (a) the VIN tag, (b) any hard to find parts, and (c) numbers match block and transmission. They both know that any or all of the sheet metal can be replaced. So they spend a lot of time focused on those things that make it rare, and everything else is, well... replaceable.
@@OldManBadly… original Shelby stamped sheetmetal is definitely irreplaceable to the value of the car. In fact, there are many parts & pieces that are unique to the ‘67 and are strictly date-coded 1966 that you really don’t want to casually swap or replace it unless it’s original to that Shelby and/or “period correct.”
@@twoblacklabs904 having seen more than a few where entire cars are rebuilt new around those tags... it's hard to tell if much of anything is original.
Mr. Bond is a unique car collector he has one of each of the big three love the 1960 f100 on the lift beautiful color and the 68or69 chevelle hiding in the back and that challenger is to die for one of my personal favorite mopars.( only liked the road runners and the challengers).
@@twoblacklabs904 I respect your opinion about keeping it "original" and my Harley Davidson was just that, then I wiped out on a road covered with antifreeze (damn-it)! ,,Now my old bike is becoming a Trike, that won't tip over.
I worked at 44606 Sierra Highway, Sierra Service Center for many years. The receipt for those emblems was from Lancaster Ford, 6/11/1973, eventually becoming Antelope Valley Ford, then moved to the Auto Mall. Long time resident and mechanic in the Valley. Keep up the great work Dennis and crew!
Killer find! Love the food segment too, that place looked good. Always impressed by the depth of knowledge Dennis has on production, options, configurations etc. Hope to see this one fully restored in a future episode.
Dennis Collins for President!
fantastic i have six GT500 white & gold met green & silver black & gold green & gold blue & gold & lime green black stripe all brooklin models made in the uk and yes all 1:43 scale🤣🤣🤣
My husband and James have been life-long friends. Watching the amazing work James does is nothing short of a miracle. He has the most knowledge and expertise a person could only hope for. We live near he and Jenn, what a great couple. James helped our son, Dezmond with his senior project. My hubby has a '36 Hudson that he has been wanting to resore.... now wanting to sell. James helped Dez turn that engine over in that Hudson. Not only is he talented, he's the nicest guy you'll meet.
Look at all of those beautiful cars he has restored! On this video, you only see a small part of the amazing shop and property
He has built. If you only could see everything he has touched! What a humbled and hard worker, we're so proud of you James.
Congratulations!
Nice find Dennis and team,
Shaken,
Not stirred. 😊
Most excellent content!…congrats on breaking 500K…Please, accept this virtual high-five! 🖐🏻
Thank you sir!
This probably one of the coolest Coffee Walks I have watched. Really cool, James Bond cool.
Nice find! Glad to see somebody rescuing these!
This has to be your best video Dennis. I love that you are sharing. Great job bro.
Doesn't what Dennis is doing , he is all about family !
My hats off to you guys for the miles you drive to chase these cars. I racked up 3000+ miles this week rescuing 2 cars myself. From north Iowa out to Deadwood...then did it again from north Iowa down to Caddo, tx.....your neck of the woods. Brutal week 😄
Mr. Bond is clearly a Mopar guy on first observation. But definitely a true collector at heart. Thankfully gentlemen like Mr. Bond and Mr. Collins are keeping muscle cars alive.
A 1974 monte carlo with a 400 with a 400 turbo trans. It went 160 and still pulling. The car was 10 years old at the time.
What I like about Dennis is he will rebuild these cars and then pass them along, the thing that I hate is the public never gets to see these great cars again and appreciate them.
OMG great find good times you rock thanks for the tour !
The cop askin “Why did u pull over and wait for me?” Stunned by his honest response and respect I’m sure he cut him some slack. He’s a good guy 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Every week I look forward to your CZcams episode Dennis & Team. Thank you so much for taking the time to share with us all. Peter.
Thanks to the coffee walk crew for another outstanding episode, my weekend can now officially begin.
Dennis…another great rescue …wow! Would you and the team be willing to take us on the journey of a full restoration on this Shelby if you build it? If we got a once a month video with the restoration process it would be just AWESOME to see it progress over the next year or however long it takes. It would be a great way to motivate and teach the next generation of enthusiasts also . I know it’s a lot of work though so I am not sure if you would get enough of a return to spend the added resources? Not sure how the math stacks up on youtube views? You all really do such great work and the camera and audio are at a pro level for sure. We always want more so that’s how you know you’re doing it right. Thank you all!
My names Collins .....Dennis Collins !! I must say James really was the perfect gentleman and possibly the most helpful customer we've met. You always go that extra mile (or 2 thousand !) to get that most desirable of collectables . Thanks Dennis .
Love the old mustangs. Got a 70 Mach 1. Tags expired 12/1976. Drove it home from CA. In April 1989. Has been parked since. 64742 original miles.
That's my Grandpa Ralphs's Shelby!
Thank you Dennis and crew for saving these old and beautiful cars.
Can we have a chat about all the wicked Mopars !this man owns
Good video Sarah and yes I know what your doing and the quality of the work your doing takes time
Bond, James Bond, is 100% living his best life!! 70 Challenger, 67 Camaro, maybe a 68 GTX, and that looked like a 'Cuda hiding behind door #2, plus the truck up top. Great find, Dennis and team, that guy had EVERYTHING for that car, what a find!!
i actually know the guy, he’s currently rebuilding a mach 1 for his son and a cuda for his brother. i believe the car you saw was his sons
@@kel5032 Nice, I think it was the Cuda for his brother then, you can see it in black primer at 5:11 when Sean P looks into the other room. Definitely looks like a Cuda rear end.
Great show again Sir !!! Classic cars galore !!! Food looked tasty !!!
@@kel5032 Tell James he has an awsome shop! I'll bet James is an interesting character, what with all the cool collectibles stored in his shop.
Challenger looks to be a 72-74 model.
yet again, another "fantastic" Coffee Walk. Man I love this show!
Another great car find, everyone needs to snoop around in their neighborhood there might be one closer than you think !!!. I found a 67 427 Corvette and 69 Chevy pickup 396 stick W/ 3800mi. Next door to me. There are a few more maybe closer than you know.
That jacket is the same one both my Mom and Dad wore in the late sixty's and early seventys. Thanks for the memories.
When we sold cars, we used to scrap the window stickers off with a razor blade and windex. Different times.
Sean P left Dennis hanging on the final fist bump!!
Cause it wasn't a running car,
He was going to have to do work,
Oh no... 😂
Seen that to lol My boi Sean was mad
Then Dennis put Sean sauce on his fish. Sounded sooooo wrong.
Rumor has it Dennis is still waiting for that bump
Damn Sean P. How could you leave him hanging like that
Dennis your respect for your people you deal with is amazing great show Bob
Always enjoy the episodes that Dennis and his crew provide, I have a passion for all types and years be it in cars or trucks... there all to be enjoyed. Truly Dennis has amazing knowledge in the car world - Brad from Vernon B.C. Canada
I Like his MoPar stash 👍🏽
Love the find for sure, the Challenger was amazing and sounded great
I'm 93 on July. ALL I CAN SAY IS 1968 I.95 NORTH IN FLA.FROM
MIAMI BEACH TO FIRST EXIT IN
FT.LAUDERDALE.12:MINUTO 53 SEC
102MP AVERAGE THAT WAS ONE FAST RIDE . GREAT CHANNEL BY THE WAY.GOD BLESS GOOD LUCK.
Dude had an amazing collection and had he restored the Shelby it would have been an insane addition. Very cool find can't wait to see it complete! 💯👍👍
Outstanding ❤️ and what a Great Friday with Dennis and Crew!! God Bless America 🇺🇲 🇺🇸 🙏 ❤️
what do Dennis and a scarecrow have in common......... They're both "outstanding" in their field!
Love watching these videos from over here in the UK. Keep up the awesome work Dennis and crew.
Awesome find on this gem. I can't wait to see the updates on this one.
Thank you for another great episode and glad you are feeling better. So happy to see that car be pulled out and on its way to being resurrected and restored!!!
Glade to see the R/T out in the light. I was eyeballing that.
What a Great score
All i can say is - wow!
This show is so good. It has now, to me , eclipsed the old gas monkey shows I loved to watch every week. Great job !!!
gas monkey was run by a tyrant.
This guy should be commended for keeping everything! What a great thing for Dennis! And kudos to whoever found this for him! Congratulations on the 500k subscribers!
Wonder if this guy thinks Dennis rescued his car?
Yeah, but, the guy knows nothing about the car. "What gears are in it?" "I have no idea."
Gears would be 390 or430
he is not the original owner, he bought it from the second owner who purchased it from the kid who was driving 160 MPH on the h'way and pulled over and waited for the cop who asked why he did that.
@@timkinley1779 probably from the looks of it he figured Dennis was the best guy to turn this car over to because you know its going to be built back and not just stored away.
Another Great one Dennis
Nice find! I see why so many want to live in the Pacific Northwest. Wow.
So cool to watch people talk about these cars, the little subtle differences. Very cool
Thanks Again Coffee Walk !!! As The Man would say OUTSTANDING !!!! Cool ending to the video !!! 💯 😎 ✌️
Such great content. Your car knowledge is astounding. Love the video. You should have 2 million subscribers!
Dennis is well versed in shelby's nice county up there in oregon
sound of that Hemi, ridiculous and what a nice guy. Dennis as always class
I’m just as impressed in his garage!!!!
Wow the building full of cool cars/trucks! Amazing!!
One of my favorite rescues Bitchin Car great history, amazing owners, beautiful location, outstanding meal. The only thing it was missing was Chelsea. Love y’all.
Hi Dennis watching from across the pond in the UK 🇬🇧 there is something special about the Shelby Mustangs they look so cool plus the history what a beautiful find thanks for sharing
Oh yeah i believe he's James Bond.
That Jen is a smoking Bond girl, radiant smile.
Cool episode
Best tv show. 🏆🚀
I own a 67 gt 350 "2268" numbers not matching and years ago Dave Mathews called me. In conversation he said the last thing we need is another fucking trailer Queen, get a good set of rods and run the shit out of that thing!! He told the right guy that, its soon finished and this small block and this car is not going to be liked by to many Shelby guys. Good luck on that build and I'm on your side!
Now that garage of Mr Bond's was absolutely cool !!!
Wish I would've known you were coming! I live in Eugene and would have been happy to help if I could. There are a lot of Jeeps and Muscle cars here. We just had the Function at the Junction Car Show nearby in Junction City too.
What an awesome freaking Coffee Walk, I cannot wait to see this completed.
That Shelby GT500 is going to be a great car when you all have finished it, but that guys dodge challenger was a great car as well, a great show.👍👍.
Great find congratz!!!
Amazing amount of OEM NOS parts, plus the window MSRP sticker, you gotta follow up report on this beauty!
I really liked this episode, love learning all your knowledge. You are educating us all, I have learned alot. Keep it up Dennis...
Thanks I watch you every week it makes my day
Great score and some killer cars at that guy’s place, thanks for sharing keep up the great work.
Awesome video guys thanks for sharing
keep up the great work!
Great channel. Please never stop Dennis. Awesome every time.
The color of the question gives it away! LIME GOLD of course. Mine was that color with outboard grill headlights and no racing stripes. All I have is pictures and memories... Who would have thought they would become collectibles...
Welcome to the beautiful PNW! And thanks for saying Oregon correctly! Haha! I live about 20 miles west of Eugene. Todd Konoske the retired trucker.
rare stuff,i have owned several 390s and a 428 or two but that 427 is a dream motor for sure
Thank goodness for the Dec '23 update video and the mention of this rescue. I couldn't believe I'd missed a local visit from the Coffee Walk crew...gonna try out the Long Timber Brewery tomorrow if they're open!
Happy New Years everyone!
My first car which I bought in 1975 when i was a junior in High School was a 1967 Ford Mustang.
It was a straight 6 engine car in Pebble Beige.
Dennis you and your team are the absolute best. What a find!!!
Perfection....great episode I love the passion and the Professor teaches class again.....Super Cool
