It seems like most of the other Real Estate guru's on CZcams only talk about the money and that's NOT why I'm getting into Real Estate. She made me realize that I want nothing to do with being a real estate agent I’m an entrepreneur but real estate is grueling! No thanks! There’s other avenues that aren’t this challenging even flipping houses or leasing houses to others and selling for profit are easier then being a sales agent.
Real estate can be tough, but rewarding. And yes, lots of opportunities in other related avenues, too. Best of luck with your entrepreneur endeavors.
Leigh Brown I prefer larger volume small ticket items or services then big ticket items but that’s just personal preference I’m not a master salesman which is critical if your going to be doing business with large ticket items but I’m sure a lot of people can make it work but it’s also understandable the 87% failure rate, makes sense.

I took online classes. Passed first time. I didn't have a week to take off to attend classes in person, so online classes worked well for me. Just need some will power to get through it in a reasonable time so you don't forget what you learned in unit 1.

This video should be shared far and wide. I work as an Inside Sales Agent for a brokerage. I think people are misinformed about the amount of money you must have behind you to survive your first year or two. Plus, I meet agents who just don't want to pick up the phone!!! I’m already working extremely assiduously on passing the license first time, so there’s a good chance i could wind up working for a broker, but i am afraid of dogs.

What really grinds my gears is when someone one is so damn negative and basing the pros and cons strictly on the outcome of their career.. You are in real estate and have been for so long that now you are tired and fed up of it? Ok so...... Don’t be so negative toward someone else’s decision.. Be positive and give tips and pointers. I’ve searched for what career path I’ve wanted too for some long.. And I promise to you that no matter what career choice I was looking at going into there was ALWAYS that person already in the field tellin me how bad it was and how hard it was and how it’s not worth it.. If I’d listen them I’d not had a career at all.. I love to convince others to go for where their heart is ! No matter how hard it may be.. Everyone is different.. I believe in real estate your attitude is your paycheck.. Just my opinion..

8:20 --- omg, I've been saying this to myself. I just called a college today and asked if they offered real estate courses. The lady I spoke to said, "yes, we have online classes". I told her, "no thanks. I feel the need to have face and face interaction with my teachers." Lol!

If you can, yes, it will help your start be a little less stressful.
You aren't going to make any money or very little in your first year, but then she says she owed $60K to the IRS in her first year... Ok, assuming she had to pay 30% of her income of commissions, that means she made $200K in commissions. How many deals do you think she did in residential housing? Average price point of $200K - $250K? 20 or 30? First year... Do the math... Part of her message was fair and honest, but a lot of it was not positive or correct. IMHO

I’ve been a part time realtor since 2015, but I want to transition into a full time realtor. Do you think it’s a good idea to do so during COVID?
Houses and property are bought and sold in every kind of market condition and many reputable brokers are quite busy and would love to have you on board-like myself! My suggestion for transitioning in is to find a busy team who can provide knowledge and mentoring and also leads, to help you survive well.
I think I may have a brokerage that provides mentoring and such. Right now I have about 3-4 months of savings to live on. I wonder if that’s enough?
@@ebonywaddles6428 we normally suggest 6 months but you can make it on 3-4 months if you're seriously disciplined and after it!
Aceable Agent was an online school but it was amazing, very clear and super helpful tips from a very successful broker, I passed my Texas exam on the first try.
