    So so inspired and lifted to see the beautiful, hard working beavers do their natural jobs to save earth and humans, all other species. You go beavers!!!🤗💖💖💖

    The video would be a lot better with a narration and no music.

    Why not just re introduce beavers to do the job for free.

      The eroded river has very steep banks that beavers can't climb up, so there's no material at all for a beaver to build. If you release beavers there, they would just die. The point of this project is to fill the river channel with sediment, so it lifts up, eventually levelling with the surrounding floodplains. Only then can beavers do their work.

      That was my question also. Just plant the right kind of foliage along the creek. But maybe they had to get the stream bed higher and more plants and trees before the move back in of the beavers

    What an incredible waste of time. There's a symbiotic relationship in nature. Every living thing has a job to do. Beavers build dams... Greatest engineers in nature. Beavers need trees to build dams. Where are they? Your going to find this project being futile over time. Create the right habitat first and get out if the way.

    • @TheCommono
      @TheCommono Před 3 lety +4

      There are projects like this where beavers moved in and took care of the 'dams'. It might simply be that the situation is so degraded that beavers can't do sh*t. And these dams are just that: creating habitat. Trees might not grow in a fast flowing stream, but eventually alongside these dams etc.
