i’m in highschool rn and i always wanted to do law cuz my dad did it and he gets good money so i wanted too. but i’m still thinking about criminology or tourism atm. but idk how much someone with a degree in tourism and travel gets :/ ofc i want money so i can travel but doesn’t need to be the center of attention you know

You can google tourism income 2020. Look for a Forbes or US News & World Report source.
Money is in it. There are so my avenues to consider.

Well you can always start with an internship where you work alongside a hotel manager. You can also start by taking a course in hotel management at a local college.

I used to think I’m stuck too but I took the time to find ways to get out and accomplish my goals.

Yes. You may want to focus on the service side of the industry as you have a license in the area of service.
I think you will learn a lot.

Travel agent will no longer be a career is what I was told in 5 years. Everything is done online or through the airport. But I guess we will see in 5 years.
I think some people would continue to use this service. I agree majority will not use it but, there are some people who like the travel agency experience and they will continue to pay for the service.
@@Kimarahtheadvisor I don't doubt people will always use it. But the way of the future. Just like the job when people use to light lamps in the streets before there were lights. I think it somehow will be gone. One of my friends husband has his own travel agency. Business to be honest is terrible even during the most busy surge of travel in the USA since covid-19. Well I am happy you are doing great in hospitality. We need more people with those types of degrees in America. Stay safe friend!
