I crafted two… leadFGold/volt for PVE & under pressure/ elemental for my void hunter in PvP tho I have used it on other sub classes & it still feels pretty amazing. You are the BEST! 😎

Dude, this is some extremly valuble content. Bungie should pay you for this. I started using FRs recently - as a scout/pulse main, shotguns and sidearms were my close range options - so your videos are a big help.
Did you do the quest from zero to hero on all characters? You will start the grind with 3/5 Start an lfg 3 peeps reloading in different instance best chances
@@Skipabeat247 Yes, I have 3/5 but have been grinding out of my mind after that without getting a single one. Did it with a friend so we checked the whole map for heroics fast. Found and did a bunch of them but no red borders. So finding the patrols is not the issue. I get them very often, but getting red borders for Iterative Loop seems impossible for me. Judging from other people's comments, this is a common problem. I really hope they increase the drop chances, like they did with Wellspring toward the end.
@@philj5817 I did it for 12 ish hours over the course of 2 days and got all of them craftable with only one zero to hero done on my main. I guess you must just be getting unlucky or doing them really slow.

My mind just shattered from all the insanity that this fusion can do in PvP, I'm not the best fusion user in PvP but seeing you pull stuff like this off is just... WOW! The PvE build is definitely something I want to try, seeing those damage numbers from a Rapid-Fire Fusion with Liquid Coils WITH a Charge Time Masterwork is just insane.
Yeah! I definitely pushed it to the max with a few of these! I think the void is still going to be best for most, but I can see some people being really surprised with stasis and strand versions!
Man, I don’t even use/like fusions that much, but I just love seeing someone go as in-depth as you do. So happy to see your channel getting some love too, much deserved. :)

Your discussion of this on the podcast led me to try a well-rounded yesteryear that dropped for me yesterday while using the strand subclass. And wow. Strand grapple has buffed the perk massively. Even as an adaptive it had amazing range and stability and the reload fragment kept me in fights for an eternity. Definitely search your vaults people.
@@Legoleflash Mine had arrowhead and rampage so it really got rolling. Hopefully your has a damage perk. Imagine a high impact, or any meta archetype of anything really.
Im pretty sure that enhanced demo is a 10% increase multiplier not additive. So it would be 20% to 22%, not 32%. 10% grenade * 1.1 = 11% with enhanced for primaries and 20% grenade * 1.1 = 22% for specials.
Lego your videos are top tier, the information, editing, all of it. Really hope your channel continues to blow up. Huge fan of your podcast as well with illPhysics, after the recent episode I immediately crafted this fusion based on the breakdowns you guys gave. Such a fun and versatile weapon! Also just to comment on something said on the pod, illPhysics mentioned that shoot to loot and explosive payload don't synergize - this was the case a while ago but in PvE the combo definitely works again after Bungie fixed the heavy ammo glitch. Shoot to loot is now procced by explosive payload, firefly, dragonfly and kinetic tremors. I crafted the Raconteur bow with STL and EP and its working really well!
Oh that's awesome! I think physics when talking about the fix was just talking about the "double" heavy pickup glitch, (unless that's what you mean by this too) but yes! Great to hear they all work good still!
They say you're not supposed to let other people dictate your choice in weapons and perks rolls, but you once again convinced me to not only enjoy my iterative loop, but found a way I could learn it in PvP more confidently now. I tip my hat to you Lego. Keep up the awesome reviews and fights!
@@Legoleflash While still being the rookie of PvP, I'm very tempted to use Under Pressure with Elemental Capacitor. Something about how useful those neutral perks are just click with me. All three of those subclass element choices just seem so tempting to learn. :D I didn't think I'd ask this, but I guess Solar's reload and Arc's Handling don't matter as much because reload can be negated and handling is already taken care of, right?

I fell in love with rapid-frame fusions affter playing around with a god roll Zealot's, I'm definetly gonna have to try this out once I level up my Iterative Loop
You won't regret it! Everything synergizes SO well. Keep an eye out for other well-rounded weapons too! It goes hard on the Neomuna rapid-fire shotgun as well.
Never was a fan of fusions in the past but after using telesto a bit I thought I'd try them out thanks to you Royal executioner is one of my new favorite weapons now, still getting a hang of it but the 2nd kill feels so good it's insane
I dont know how much this will make a difference but on d2foundry you where using the masterworks instead of the enhanced intrisics which, in addition to being the mastwork +10 it gives +2 to every other stat

Not a PvP player here. I gotta say it is insanely good for pve, the jolt increases the damage by a ridiculous amount. It feels like an exotic fusion rifle almost, especially since it's the only legendary fusion rifle with voltshot. I still watched the rest of the video because the gameplay is nice and your editing makes it really enjoyable.
Hey thanks for watching the whole thing! Totally agree on the jolt. It has such a good multiplier on that damage, and outclasses even exotics with jolt!
@@Legoleflash Yeah I saw someone else's video comparing the fusion rifle's damage against izinagis Burden, and it was doing more dps and total damage when jolt is applied! That is absolutely crazy, and it is very noticeable especially when you have multiple teammates shooting the same boss. The moment I apply jolt, the boss's health bar disappears. It so good, whether it be solo, or in a team, and it can stun overloads.
@@Legoleflash Yeah, especially considering that izinagi is one of the most damaging special weapons. Now, jolt combined with fusion rifle or rockets might not ever be as good as rocket + izi switching, especially on a Starfire build, but it's still incredibly strong, and an asset in a team. But if you combine the iterative loop voltshot with izinagi and a rocket, just imagine the damage. The damage!!! Now it would require a bit more setup obviously, but in situations where you can kill an ad before damage phase, proc that jolt and then start rocket izi switching, in the words of aztecross..... Yaaaahhh!!
Ohh so I waited for this video 😀😀. A fantastic video. First crafted with kickstart but like you said fund myself in bad situations. Ended up with the void one. This fusion is so good. 500 kills with this allready
talk about perfect timing! I just started messing around with a build with the new hunter helmet, now I've gotta craft/lvl up another one because I've need to try that strand one. I was already using the void one but I think I'll rotate that to the stasis one and try it out Great video as expected lego!
So... I was farming red borders for about 2 weeks with no luck at all (I managed to acquire other red borders but not a single fusion pattern). Then decided to complete the quest with my other 2 characters, and since I have barely used my Warlock since I started playing I decided to delete it, started the new light quest, met Shaw and immediately go to Neomuna and complete the first 2 quests from Lightfall campaign then I completed from Zero, extracted the pattern, deleted the character again and did it all over and I had my pattern within 5 to 6 hours and I have to say this: IT WAS WORTH IT. I love this gun (I'm using your void roll and it is amazing).
Great work as always Lego! Btw the well rounded/range finder roll on epicurean (with strand Hunter) has been amazing! Thanks for the advice on that one.
For the Neomuna weapons, what’s helped me with getting red borders is to not TRY to get red borders. Just play, I know it sounds counterproductive but for some reason in this game when you try to focus on something particular it never drops in your favor. But when you just play and enjoy the game rng is more in your favor

I've been enjoying iterative loop with under pressure and elem cap on stasis osmio warlock. Thanks a lot for this guide! Next I'm going to try switching under pressure to well-rounded on the same warlock. I think the grenades will be up often enough especially in a trials setting. There's some more synergy with well-rounded and hedrons too!

Nice video. That help me very a lot to chose my perks. I tryed the new trust with golden tricorn and the exo boots from the titan "path of burning steps" on solar. Without radiant and golden tricorn times 2 plus firewalker Times 1. It kills in two shots for 108.5 damage. Absolutly insane and really easy to trigger.
One more stasis build comes to mind, but I think it’s a bit toxic. Well rounded + kickstart + range with a titan running rime and cryo slide with Antaeus wards. Get the over shield with a glacier nade, then it’s time to cosplay as a rhino.
For anyone having hard time getting that last red border. Run the legendary campaign mission. That's where my last one dropped and I was completely shocked
At 19:35 The enhanced demo description is already including the effect of the enhanced perk. Which is a 1.1x multiplier to the amount regened by the normal version of the perk, not an additive 10% energy.
@@Legoleflash Ha you kicked my butt, but you were using Rose at the time and it inspired me to pull it out of the vault. Turns out that lightweight bonus is awesome, I had written it off as a sub-par handcannon but it's actually great.

This is the video I've been anticipating most from you this season and you crushed it! Now the only question is: How many Iterative Loops will I end up crafting?
For anyone having a issue getting 5 borders its actually extremely fast and easy with no patrols needed. First step is to complete the first part of the campaign on all three characters to unlock the quest that gives a red border. Thats your first 3. Then simply transfer all your gear from your least used character and delete the character. Complete the into mission of D2 then Lightfall campaign will be immediately unlocked to start your 4th red border. Then delete the character again and repeat for your 5th. You can go from 0 to 5 red borders in afternoon with 0 RNG.
I literally hated this thing at first. I got it to lv3 and put on Projection Fuse and it's already shredding. I have NEVER really liked fusions too much. But this is delicious. You are an amazing content creator. Do you do your own editing and everything?? Notice me senpai, blushes.

Very interesting stuff with the well-rounded info specifically for strand... I didn't think about that at all so great job diving in. I do not think I will go this route, but it is cool you were able to make it work & stack all those perks within the strand framework. Personally, I still favor the traditional under pressure/kickstart since I mainly run solar...but thinking about changing kickstart to elemental capacitor for void builds for obvious reasons. I agree that the kickstart playstyle is very intentional which is why I don't love the perk in general. I also think it is stronger on MnK since you are able to slide and change direction more freely, instead of being locked into a window when sliding on controller. The one thing I would add is that enhanced kickstart does give you about 1 full second with the buff after the slide is completed. This makes it a bit more viable in the sense that in some scenarios you can complete your slide and still peek out of cover with it. I kind of feel this is how the regular perk should work and the enhanced version on top of it should just activate the perk with less time in sprint. Not crying for a buff, just an observation/honest thought. Regarding PVE, the voltshot info pairing liquid coils and charge time MW was really good too. I definitely wouldn't have even of tried this. Ive been using an Epicurean for a couple of months now with well rounded on my solar Warlock, I throw a healing grenade down whenever i can right before an engagement to have an overshield. Might built the Loop the same way. Thanks for the video!
Noooooooo no no. The buff won't be near that much haha. :) That said, with liquid coils, radiant, and HIR you will be able to 6 bolt most of the time. Which is a little crazy for doing absolutely nothing, haha!

@@Skipabeat247 ah yeah I feel ya. I've actually been running Strand and that Ascent fragment, and then running a special with steady hands, so when I swap to Round Robin it's STACKED with handling. Haha. It's great.
Great breakdown! BTW Adagio can also 6 bolt with a single kill plus it gives you +10 to range. It does change the charge time from 500 to 425 but tbh I couldn't really tell that much of a difference esp if you are good at timing your pre charges. I was using that with killing wind (since you can craft it out the gate) which also gives you a TON of benefits including range. Paired together brings your DFO to almost 18 meters at 17.57. pair that with projection fuse and its 18.12 meters. Its def requires more of an aggressive playstyle but one worth at least trying out in addition to the ones you already mentioned. With that said I'm liking going under pressure + EC myself since ive been running void hunter with 6th coyote a lot lately.
yeah that is some pretty crazy range! I just CAN'T stand the increased charge time. I just always think, why not just run a different archetype that can hit that range anyways? Like my techeun or even epicurean with well rounded and rangefinder, then you don't need a kill. It's a solid combo for synergy though. A fun thing to try out for sure.

Everyone make sure, if you dont have the patterns needed to craft this yet, do the "from zero" and "to hero" missions after beating the campaign on all three characters, as you will get three iterative loop patterns, as well as three round Robin patterns!!! Happy hunting!!
Didn't even know this thing existed, never had a drop. Get plenty of the Neomuna weapons, but rarely a red border, even from Heroic Patrols, and never yet had this fusion.

As much fun as this build sounds. I’m not gonna keep farming for the ascendant alloy. I’m not gonna farm for 30 of them just to keep changing it when I want to switch from strand to void to solar etc. costing me two ascendant alloy’s every time I wanna change it.
I actually like that stasis nade launcher for PvE, but yeah, don't ever use it in PvP it's BAD haha. Can't even one shot unless you bonk them with the actual pellet.
Great content again. I'm so conflicted. I am a strand boy but that setup gets me a bit worried. Based on my available build that i like to use, using 1 arc targeting mod is all I can muster. So i'll probably forgo the fullbore but keep all other parts of the roll the same.
Yeah, maybe if you could run one it might be okay. And it still HIT closer to you, it's just for those REALLY deep shots that you need all the targeting

They say you're not supposed to let other people dictate your choice in weapons and perks rolls, but you once again convinced me to not only enjoy my iterative loop, but found a way I could learn it in PvP more confidently now.

I didn't think I'd ask this, but I guess Solar's reload and Arc's Handling don't matter as much because reload can be negated and handling is already taken care of, right?

You won't regret it! Everything synergizes SO well. Keep an eye out for other well-rounded weapons too! It goes hard on the Neomuna rapid-fire shotgun as well.

I dont know how much this will make a difference but on d2foundry you where using the masterworks instead of the enhanced intrisics which, in addition to being the mastwork +10 it gives +2 to every other stat

Not a PvP player here. I gotta say it is insanely good for pve, the jolt increases the damage by a ridiculous amount. It feels like an exotic fusion rifle almost, especially since it's the only legendary fusion rifle with voltshot. I still watched the rest of the video because the gameplay is nice and your editing makes it really enjoyable.
Hey thanks for watching the whole thing! Totally agree on the jolt. It has such a good multiplier on that damage, and outclasses even exotics with jolt!
@@Legoleflash Yeah I saw someone else's video comparing the fusion rifle's damage against izinagis Burden, and it was doing more dps and total damage when jolt is applied! That is absolutely crazy, and it is very noticeable especially when you have multiple teammates shooting the same boss. The moment I apply jolt, the boss's health bar disappears. It so good, whether it be solo, or in a team, and it can stun overloads.

@@Legoleflash Yeah, especially considering that izinagi is one of the most damaging special weapons. Now, jolt combined with fusion rifle or rockets might not ever be as good as rocket + izi switching, especially on a Starfire build, but it's still incredibly strong, and an asset in a team. But if you combine the iterative loop voltshot with izinagi and a rocket, just imagine the damage. The damage!!! Now it would require a bit more setup obviously, but in situations where you can kill an ad before damage phase, proc that jolt and then start rocket izi switching, in the words of aztecross..... Yaaaahhh!!

I just started messing around with a build with the new hunter helmet, now I've gotta craft/lvl up another one because I've need to try that strand one.
I was already using the void one but I think I'll rotate that to the stasis one and try it out

So... I was farming red borders for about 2 weeks with no luck at all (I managed to acquire other red borders but not a single fusion pattern). Then decided to complete the quest with my other 2 characters, and since I have barely used my Warlock since I started playing I decided to delete it, started the new light quest, met Shaw and immediately go to Neomuna and complete the first 2 quests from Lightfall campaign then I completed from Zero, extracted the pattern, deleted the character again and did it all over and I had my pattern within 5 to 6 hours and I have to say this: IT WAS WORTH IT. I love this gun (I'm using your void roll and it is amazing).
So glad I grinded out all the neomuna red borders. Took like a whole week but it was time well spent between iterative and round robin

For the Neomuna weapons, what’s helped me with getting red borders is to not TRY to get red borders. Just play, I know it sounds counterproductive but for some reason in this game when you try to focus on something particular it never drops in your favor. But when you just play and enjoy the game rng is more in your favor

I've been enjoying iterative loop with under pressure and elem cap on stasis osmio warlock. Thanks a lot for this guide! Next I'm going to try switching under pressure to well-rounded on the same warlock. I think the grenades will be up often enough especially in a trials setting. There's some more synergy with well-rounded and hedrons too!

I tryed the new trust with golden tricorn and the exo boots from the titan "path of burning steps" on solar. Without radiant and golden tricorn times 2 plus firewalker
Times 1. It kills in two shots for 108.5 damage. Absolutly insane and really easy to trigger.

One more stasis build comes to mind, but I think it’s a bit toxic. Well rounded + kickstart + range with a titan running rime and cryo slide with Antaeus wards. Get the over shield with a glacier nade, then it’s time to cosplay as a rhino.

At 19:35 The enhanced demo description is already including the effect of the enhanced perk. Which is a 1.1x multiplier to the amount regened by the normal version of the perk, not an additive 10% energy.

For anyone having a issue getting 5 borders its actually extremely fast and easy with no patrols needed. First step is to complete the first part of the campaign on all three characters to unlock the quest that gives a red border. Thats your first 3. Then simply transfer all your gear from your least used character and delete the character. Complete the into mission of D2 then Lightfall campaign will be immediately unlocked to start your 4th red border. Then delete the character again and repeat for your 5th. You can go from 0 to 5 red borders in afternoon with 0 RNG.
Whoa that’s a crazy tip if you’re okay with deleting characters

Here’s a tip for some of the neomuna weapons, do the “from zero…” and the “to hero…” quests on all characters, it will reduce the grind but alot.

Very interesting stuff with the well-rounded info specifically for strand... I didn't think about that at all so great job diving in. I do not think I will go this route, but it is cool you were able to make it work & stack all those perks within the strand framework.
Personally, I still favor the traditional under pressure/kickstart since I mainly run solar...but thinking about changing kickstart to elemental capacitor for void builds for obvious reasons. I agree that the kickstart playstyle is very intentional which is why I don't love the perk in general. I also think it is stronger on MnK since you are able to slide and change direction more freely, instead of being locked into a window when sliding on controller.
The one thing I would add is that enhanced kickstart does give you about 1 full second with the buff after the slide is completed. This makes it a bit more viable in the sense that in some scenarios you can complete your slide and still peek out of cover with it. I kind of feel this is how the regular perk should work and the enhanced version on top of it should just activate the perk with less time in sprint. Not crying for a buff, just an observation/honest thought.
Regarding PVE, the voltshot info pairing liquid coils and charge time MW was really good too. I definitely wouldn't have even of tried this. Thanks for the deep dive.

Ive been using an Epicurean for a couple of months now with well rounded on my solar Warlock, I throw a healing grenade down whenever i can right before an engagement to have an overshield. Might built the Loop the same way. Thanks for the video!

Noooooooo no no. The buff won't be near that much haha. :) That said, with liquid coils, radiant, and HIR you will be able to 6 bolt most of the time. Which is a little crazy for doing absolutely nothing, haha!

Great breakdown! BTW Adagio can also 6 bolt with a single kill plus it gives you +10 to range. It does change the charge time from 500 to 425 but tbh I couldn't really tell that much of a difference esp if you are good at timing your pre charges. I was using that with killing wind (since you can craft it out the gate) which also gives you a TON of benefits including range. Paired together brings your DFO to almost 18 meters at 17.57. pair that with projection fuse and its 18.12 meters. Its def requires more of an aggressive playstyle but one worth at least trying out in addition to the ones you already mentioned. With that said I'm liking going under pressure + EC myself since ive been running void hunter with 6th coyote a lot lately.
yeah that is some pretty crazy range! I just CAN'T stand the increased charge time. I just always think, why not just run a different archetype that can hit that range anyways? Like my techeun or even epicurean with well rounded and rangefinder, then you don't need a kill.
It's a solid combo for synergy though. A fun thing to try out for sure.

Everyone make sure, if you dont have the patterns needed to craft this yet, do the "from zero" and "to hero" missions after beating the campaign on all three characters, as you will get three iterative loop patterns, as well as three round Robin patterns!!! Happy hunting!!

Didn't even know this thing existed, never had a drop. Get plenty of the Neomuna weapons, but rarely a red border, even from Heroic Patrols, and never yet had this fusion.

As much fun as this build sounds. I’m not gonna keep farming for the ascendant alloy. I’m not gonna farm for 30 of them just to keep changing it when I want to switch from strand to void to solar etc. costing me two ascendant alloy’s every time I wanna change it.

I actually like that stasis nade launcher for PvE, but yeah, don't ever use it in PvP it's BAD haha. Can't even one shot unless you bonk them with the actual pellet.

Great content again. I'm so conflicted. I am a strand boy but that setup gets me a bit worried. Based on my available build that i like to use, using 1 arc targeting mod is all I can muster. So i'll probably forgo the fullbore but keep all other parts of the roll the same.
Yeah, maybe if you could run one it might be okay. And it still HIT closer to you, it's just for those REALLY deep shots that you need all the targeting
