In this video I demonstrate the set up and specification of the Slumit Club 2 with FlashFrame Pitch + Pack System. The tent is perfect for Motorcycle camping due to it's compact size and quick set up time.
*This is the 2020 model, the 2021 new edition has some enhanced modifications.
*Please note my error at 8:00 minutes in, first you should release the top centre mechanism before you fold the legs in*

Brilliant kit
I love the slumit tents,I've got the gobi 3,so easy to put up and take down,my gobi survived a very wet and windy snowdonia a couple of years ago,it stayed dry and stood up well to the high winds.

I’ve had the gobi 3man for quite a few years now. Excellent tent, easy set up and put away. No problems with it at all.
Great video, Ive had the Cub 1 for about 10 years and its still going strong.
Looks very good and easy to put up after a long day in the saddle. 👍

Good review Craig had the Slumit cub 2 at Elan have now upgraded to the gobi 3 the 2 is a excellent tent for biker camping because of it's size and how easy it is to put up and down

@@Motourev Another thumbs up for the gobi3,bit bigger pack+weight size than the cub but fits nicely on the back seat of my Vstrom.Just need the extra space for me old bones!.Good vid.

I love these tents. Have the Gobi 3 and found it excellent. Obviously they are quite large when packed, but like you I just secure it over the pillion seat with a pair of rok straps.
I’m happy with a little bit larger packed size if it gives me minimal setup time 👍🏻

That's pretty cool. I have a Coleman 3 person tent which isn't too bad to put up but this is way faster. Thanks for the video :D
A few in our group have the Coleman but they suffer from condensation due to being a single layered skin.
@@Motourev yes they do I’m afraid. When I need a new one I’ll keep an eye out for this for sure. It’s just a bit too long to fit on my pannier. ;)

I’ve just got the Slumit Grizzly 4 berth and will be reviewing it Monday. A lot bigger but not much bigger packed down. The Cub 2 is perfect for a 1 night even 2 night for 1 person as long as you leave luggage on bike. For a good weeks camping I’m gonna try the Grizzly 4 for that extra room. Look out for the video. If you do buy one contact them and say you are buying because of this video, they might offer you some discount. Thanks for watching 🙌🏻

Honestly they are amazing tents. It’s the only brand I use now, I did a review on the Grizzly 4 birth and that tents even better

Yes there enough, I also had the extra guys and they come with pegs too.
Craig, are Gobi tents the same as Khaym? as they have (had) the same locking exoskeleton frame outside too, nicely done
I don’t believe there is any connection between the brands but think the frames are very similar.

I just got a Jacko 2 last year, it's a good tent,
But I like that folding mission that one, and size of the bag come with it for the back of my motorbike /scooter

It's okay to put up but a real pita to put away, it will fight to go back in the bag leaving you drenched in sweat. Then there's the bulk , classed as a motorcycling tent this was the biggest thing on my bike and always in the way. If i'm going to carry this i may go for the lone rider garage tent instead , or for short trips i'm going back to a regular small pole tent that packs away neat and small ,plus a tarp between bike and tent for a coffee area

Yes, I have a frame ontop of my topbox and it does fit well with good secure straps
Does the top of the tent leak at all during rain ?
No not at all, got the 2 man and 4 man version and neither have leaked. I will never use another branded tent from now on they are just superb.

@@Motourev They are good tents ...but fibre glass poles are the weak point and snap when the going gets tough.
