    I was in 4th grade when Bo ran the wall at 2:16 and it was all over the news that night and the next day at school everyone was trying to copy him running up the brick wall during recess. Great memories. Bo was superhuman to us.

      Signalsoldier I’ll admit he was one of the greatest athletes ever. But to say he’d be a hall of fame NFL player is a stretch. He averaged under 700 yards per season rushing the ball. Great running backs like AP and CJ2K have rushed in a season for what he rushed for in 4 seasons.

    I grew up in an exclusively Auburn family. I was a teenager when Bo rose to fame. Even among so many iconic Auburn athletes (Barkley, Newton, Sullivan, etc), Bo Jackson is like Zeus overshadowing lesser gods. He returned to Auburn while I was attending to complete his degree as an example for his younger cousins and nephews. Always has been a humble and classy man.

He ended the top of the 1st with a great running catch then led off the bottom of the 1st with a HR and later added a SB. He was named the game MVP. Where's the disgrace?       No shit, what is really annoying is they don't consider his 40 official anymore because it was done with a stop watch and not the high tech equipment they have today, which is bs, rarely does anyone gain time from a stop watch, usually you loss a tenth not gain a tenth, which mean his 4.12 could have been a 4.02

    Bo was so great, had he been born later and played today, people would accuse him of PEDs. He was unnatural. He broke a lot of records in just the short time he played, I get goosebumps and even a little sad thinking what he could of done with a 15 year career in any sport. There are hall of fame legends that will tip their hat and admit they were lucky to have just been on the same field with Bo Jackson.

      @kissmyaass1 this is late, but that year would be prior to Bo Jackson. He was drafted out of College 10 years later. You qualified when he was in early high school or junior high. Possibly 8th grade or so.

    If this guy didn't suffer AVN, there is no telling how many records and championships he would have racked up. I seen him hit a golf ball way over 300 yards and long before it was routine. He was way out of bounds with talent. Strength, speed, hand eye coordination and desire. Pretty damn frightening for the opposing team.

      Yeah it's tough to even compare him to anyone as far as overall athleticism. At 2:18 the most impressive part of that play isn't him running on the wall, it's that he came out of nowhere and caught that ball in left center. A lot of outfielders don't even make that catch.

    I am thankful to have grown up in the 80’s in Los Angeles. Bo Jackson was a god for a brief couple of years that he was active in the nfl and mlb. He was bigger than life. He was a shining star and still is.

    I am BO fanatic as well as Auburn ! Bo and his coaches swear he barely worked out, he was just a genetic God. I love the debate between him and Herschel. Obviously im a Bo fan, and Herschel is the only person close to being on his level in my opinion but I give the edge to Bo... strictly because love his sub 4.3 forty time that is still the fastest one in sec history to my knowledge ... both are generational talents that we will never see again

    2:46 The tackle that caused his hip injury and ended his football career. As an 80's kid who watched him in both college and pro, he is probably the greatest pure athlete ever and we got robbed of at least 10 years of greatness because of his injury. He is also one of the most humble and soft spoken guys you will ever meet

    Greatest athlete. He defied physics when he scaled that wall. Wish he hadn't played in the NFL tho, would have been a first ballot HOF, all time great MLB player.

    I was at that game against the Broncos when he ran over Mike Harden. I've told that story a hundred times. I'll never forget that play. And Mike Harden was a bad ass in his own right. Bo was in a class by himself.

    Where's the highlight of where, after palming a one-hopper off the wall at the warning track, he throws out a runner(Harold Reynolds) at Home Plate? Teardrop on the plate. The catcher had started to walk to the dugout cuase he knew the runner was the game winning run...then he came back after he saw Bo palm the ricochet off the wall.       I saw it live. Could not believe he threw Reynolds out. Still, for me, his greatest play was when he ran up the wall in Baltimore. Never been done before or since.

    I was 11 years old and loved baseball, and was collecting baseball cards...came across Bo and all the hype. With no-one to tell me how the game worked, I was about 5 Raiders games.....New football fan.

    Bo Jackson's DNA needs to be cloned in case of an Alien invasion to scare them the f*ck away. I've talked with several older fellas (i do home remodeling for a living so i do work for lots of 50 plus crowd) they all agree Bo was the freakiest Athlete they've ever witness
