There's is actually laws for bus drivers that require them to stop every 2 hours for a break. Atleast 15 minutes I believe, the maximum driving time for bus drivers is 10 hours.
I say this as a 23 year old school bus driver.
That was the first thing that came to my mind. Totally underrated comment.
For long distance busses it's 45 min every 4.5 hours or one 15 min break and a 30 min break after that within the same time.
That's stupid in the UK it's like 1 breack after 8 hours

Most of these animated storytimes don't really incorporate lip syncing, more rather idle animation. I'm proud of you for going that far to do so in your videos!

SophieDoodle FPS stands for Frames Per Second. It literally doesn't mean anything in terms of what application it's for. 24 frames per second is generally used in animation because higher fps means you have to put more effort into creating the animation (without getting into too much detail). Generally, higher fps will be smoother; the higher the fps, the smoother the video will be.
In more detail here (And links to short video explanations):
What does fps mean?
I will use an example to explain this. On a camera, it takes a certain number of pictures per second and strings them together in a video file. If the video file is 1 fps and 20 seconds long, that means that the camera took 1 picture per second, and strung it together in a video file 20 seconds long. It will look very choppy because it's like playing a slideshow in which each picture appears each second.
This applies to anything that can be created or viewed via digital means. For example, the monitor you're using to view this right now has an fps (although it's Hertz because it's a refresh rate and not a video, but let's just call it fps for simplicity), which is usually either 24, 30, 60, or even higher fps. The reason why the absolute lowest fps you will see on anything is 24 fps is because the brain sees things as moving images at 23.97 fps (people just use 24 to make it easy to remember). Now back to why most animators will use 24 fps instead of a higher number. Even though the video will appear smoother, higher fps will mean that the animator has to do more work to make it look how they want to (as stated above). The reason why it's harder to animate higher fps videos is because animators have to essentially create animations frame by frame. There are things called keyframes which the program uses to animate things. For a video to look like how the animator wants it to be, they will generally have to insert at least one keyframe for every frame.
Now let's do some math:
So, this video is 6 minutes and 32 seconds long. That is 6*60 + 32 seconds long, which is 382. Multiply that by the fps (60), and we get 22,920. That's the number of frames that make up this video (a lot). Assuming that Chipflake took an average of 3 seconds per frame to animate this video, that would mean 22,920 frames * 3 seconds.That would mean that Chipflake took 68,760 seconds to animate this video. Divide that by 60 seconds, and we get the number of minutes she would've used to animate it, which is 1,146 minutes. Divide that by 60 again, and we get the number of hours worked, which is 19 hours and 6 minutes. And remember, that doesn't take into account brakes, or anything that was required to set up an animation!

In the Arbeitsschutzgesetz it is said that on long bus's drives the driver has to take brakes every 3 hours for at maximum 15 minutes. You could have complaint at the company and had a chance of getting your money back by the way.
My story (in case someone wants to know): My class and another class had a class trip (the one at the end of the last school year) and we went to Gardasee Italian. Was a nice week, everyone had fun, got a bit drunk because of the other class and a fellow German bartender. At the 15 hours back, two girls of the other class (they didn't drink or eat anything for the whole day... Was summer by the way) and at the McDonald's at the brennerpass these two girls just drunk two litters of energy drinks (monster). Stuff got really bad when the two lost conciseness while waiting for there food. One woke up after the paramedics arrived, the other one fell into a coma. I don't know if she got better.

Unfortunately, this seems very familiar to me. In our class there were always two guys who drank energy drinks around the clock every day. However, it quickly became the two of them's undoing. For those who do not know: Energy drinks are absolutely harmful to health. On this day it was 40°C in the shade and we were outside for 2 hours. The plan was to walk up the mountain and have lunch there. There was a lot you could have done but the heat was to strong. So they decided to turn back instead. We had used up almost all our water and our lunch bags were still full. The two guys, on the other hand, drank one can after the other. After about 10 minutes, one of them began to tremble very strongly and could no longer bring out a reasonable word. He hold his chest and just fell dead. The other became dizzy and he began to sweat heavily. We called the emergency number and after a while the rescue helicopter arrived. Despite cpr, any help came too late for one. He died directly. The other was flown to the hospital. Later we learned that he had also died shortly after he arrived at the hospital. We didn't know exactly how this could happen, but we were told there were several causes that led to the death of the two. A main thing besides the heat was the overdosing of taurine, which is mainly contained in energy drinks.
Since the incident, energy drinks have been banned in our school. Future school trips were planned very precisely. There were always 2 bad weather variants chosen in addition to the main programs to avoid such incidents in the future...

The one tour bus I went on was the WORST. Freezing cold, no wifi, no outlets, and super loud. The driver stopped at this insanely creepy dinner with painted saw blades on the walls in MiddleOfNowhereUSA, got lost 3 times, nearly hit at least 12 parked cars, drove over people's lawns and got the bus stuck 4 blocks from where we were going. Then I spent the night at a crappy motel and had to get back on the same bus with the same driver the next day. Ugh.

I live in Saarland. And this is not the rule that a bus driver has to stop so long
I like the story, I really do. But still I got to say, it's not like the driver was having a bad day or something. Every bus and truck driver has a machine which he puts his personal card into. This machine practically registers everything. The time, you're driving, the speed you're going, etc. So, this thing is running 24/7 and this thing knows whether you're taking a break or not.
Why is this important?
Imagine this:
Some smart person decides to crash into the bus. Not nice, right. But when this happens, the driver's data is reviewed. And then the state attourney will ask him questions like: "Why didn't you make your break, required by law?"
And if he just says: "Well, I wanted to be nice to my customers and get there in time.", that's not gonna help him win in court.
And then yes, I think it's understandable. Because for you, of course, it sucks. But I wouldn't risk myself either getting into jail because my company is too dumb to make good schedules.
Not to blame you, but what do you expect when you take the cheapest of the cheap companies? I would more like blame the company for advertising that they are good, when they in fact weren't.
But yeah, please do not blame the driver. I get it, I would've been mad too, but it's like with every law. Of course you could neglect it. But IF something would happen, you would be doomed.

hence why I stuck with walking to college which took 45 minutes but after I got used to the distance, it got me to love walking with fresh air and I feel I get to experience nature better than being in a vehicle
I deal with a lot of stress due to bullying and such, so walking helps me get distracted from that and 45 minutes gives me time to think about what I wanna do later on that day, fresh air really helps with that

But now we have a new good bus driver. He even gave us Cookies and Candy one day... and we aren't allowed to eat on the bus!

I also live in Germany and once we came back from a class trip in Berlin with like 50 people. After the train arrived too late , the places we reserved were partly taken. So our three teachers had to convince the people sitting there to kindly go away. So after about an hour passed most of the class could finally sit down. The promised WI-Fi on the train also didnt work and my Nintendo Switch was almost empty. The trip from Berlin to North Rhine-Westphalia took about 6 hours. One hour before we would have reached our destination, the railway track was closed because of some problem. So we had to change the train with about 50 people and we had about 10 minutes to get to the other train. So we ran and tried to get inside the already relatively full train. So I we basically stood like penguins for 1 hour inside a very hot train.
All in all it was quite the adventure

So weâre on a coach from Austria to Slovakia to visit my dad and weâve booked the front seats. There were already people in our seats who refused to move. On the way back to Austria we sit in the front seats as it was clear nobody on the coach cared where you sat. Then at the next stop people basically shoved us out of the front seats
Once the bus started burning, so I had to wait until the next bus in the middle of nowhere.
