- This week we are trying a NEW Florida State Park for us! Stephen Foster Cultural Center State Park! We actually booked this park to meet Alli's Brother and Nephew as they were coming down from South Carolina to do a canoe camping trip down the Suwannee River. We also met up with Jeff and Marcy again as they were able to get a campsite last minute as someone cancelled!
We didn't plan on it but Jeff found us an awesome off road trail that led us with a mile or so of the Big Shoal Falls trail.
We visited the Stephen Foster museum and ended up speaking with a lady who was working outside, she gave us TONS of cool information all about the park and Stephen Foster.

We were in site 6 2 weeks ago, just an overnight stop. There seemed to be a lot of low hanging trees on the entry road. I must have stood at that check in for 30 mins reading the signs to figure out how to check in lol!!! Weird. Let’s all go back again sometime soon.
