For anyone interested in the performance of this winch, I'm powering it with a Kubota 3130 diesel tractor. I never took the tractor much above idle and it worked beautifully! The tractor was purchased new in 2005 and has been a great addition to our homestead. I believe the quality of the Kubota will be matched by this Wallenstein winch. Both are built with longevity in mind.
