For a system that is advertised so heavily on the "social party games" side of things, Nintendo has done a poor job at making it easy to do. Inviting or even interacting with friends in certain first party titles is so needlessly tedious.

The operating system has been neglected so much. It lacks a ton of features like themes, built in voice chat and folders

The 3DS, the WiiU, the original Wii, and hell, even the original DS had more communication and multimedia capabilities than the Switch. It's amazing how they literally stripped absolutely every single hardware/software feature that they had slowly been expanding upon (and I do mean slowly) up until New3DS and WiiU...
And the Switch just plays games. That's it. With zero multimedia capabilities (no mp3, video, photo, etc.), no web browser, and zero communication abilities (including with friends list). Pathetic.
@@N.i.E.M.O I TOTALLY AGREE the Wii had a voice service called Wii Speak while I remember playing Prime Hunters on DS and it had functional voice chat, also the 3DS had a ton of customization with weaker hardware than the switch, matter a fact the Wii photo channel had video capabilities, the 3DS had tons of themes and folders and even the DSi had features that are strange omissions on the Switch.
Miss the themes as well, I hoped that by 2018 they would have added them XD 2021, and still nothing

as a super mario kart veteran i see why that guy lost, he had no defensive items on him. he was probably foolish enough to try to throw them at her which left him with multiple openings but its ok since almost everyone just launches their items when i play online they never really try to save them for protection and its rare if you see it.
