    I really enjoy that ones hunger goes away with Keto. For me that is just great. Less cooking and less spent on food. I loved pastries and cake and they were so addictive. This keto lifestyle just makes me feel healthier mentally and physically. So I can say for certain it is good for us!! I am only 4 months in, but I can see a major difference.

    I totally relate to Sarah's journey! Emily has such a great way of explaining carb addiction 😆 like a cereal killer or a cannibal 😆 I totally agree! Viewing keto like a temporary way of eating really dies change how u feel about eating. I love this video!

    Love that you speak openly about the mind games you play with yourselves. I have lost and gained hundreds of pounds. Even at 72, I'm still playing the game. Just lost 60 pounds, for the umpteenth time. You go girls. Keep being honest with yourself, and being accountable

    I just found you girls thank God! I’m on my 3rd try of keto and the weight is coming off super slowly this time😩 but I love what you guys said! About needing to do this for life-how it’s such a slippery slope once you invite cheat days and all that. I’ll be your keto for life buddy because I can’t leave this way of eating-I’ve tried carbs for 37 freaking years and I’ve been a fatty all these years to show for it. You both are my biggest inspiration and thank you so much!

    Great video. I've lost serious weight, thrown out the "fat" clothes, truly believing I'm thin now. Denial! When I go out there, I'm WILD about food again. I'm a food addiction & Keto is the one food/lifestyle that keeps me calm. I can't do it alone. Thanks for yr candor. Love you girls. 😍

    I’ll share my story with you. (First time sharing this much of myself anywhere on CZcams. I feel comfortable with you two😇) I always thought I was a bigger girl growing up by my weight and height because I was about 5’10 in high school and was just a tall girl growing up. I remember weighing about 150 in H.S. and just thinking I was overweight compared to my friends that were much shorter than myself and them weighing less.
    When I was 19 my weight got down to 130 due to a horrific car crash that left me a paraplegic, wheelchair user. (I’m fine and have had a lot of years to deal with this new way of life) I gradually gained some weight back over the first couple/few years and gained arm and back muscle overtime with being new to my disability and became a strong 147 to 150 pound wheelchair user due to being a paraplegic. I kept this body frame until I became pregnant and had given birth to my healthy baby daughter 22 yrs ago. (My pride and joy) I just needed to take off about 20 pounds after giving birth and get back in shape but for whatever excuses I found it so difficult. The weight went up over the yrs and my highest was 185 pounds. Not a lot of weight I’m sure some people would think but pushing myself around in my chair and transferring in and out of it (car, bed, etc) definitely made it harder. Ive been on yo-yo diets off and on for the last 22 yrs (mostly off) but after doing research on my computer 14 months ago (June 22, 2019) and learning about keto and intermittent fasting I decided to stop eating fast food and pizza. I stopped drinking my diet Coke’s. I went low carb, low sugar, and did omad dropped 45 pounds in 4 1/2 months. I’m not Keto though. I’ve been maintaining my new weight of 140 since last November 2019 but I’ve been indulging in chips and cupcakes (cupcakes lately) and probably bloat up to 145 but I’m okay with the weight (not the bloat feeling though) but I love my indulgence treats. I just watch and count calories and make sure my “daily average” weekly, every two weeks, and even every three weeks calories when all added up and divided by those days aren’t over my “daily average” calorie intake. I hope that made sense! Anyway, that’s my story and I tried to condense it but failed😀

      Keto Twins Aww, thank you. I appreciate it and enjoy watching you and Sarah continue on with your weight loss journey. Watching video’s like yours help keep me on my “clean” path. And you both really do look smaller than what you say your weight is. You look great!

    • @cherylcalifornia125
      @cherylcalifornia125 Před 3 lety

      Keto Twins Aww, thank you. I appreciate it. Repeating what I had kind of wrote Emily is that, I enjoy watching your video’s Sarah with Emily as you both continue on with your weight loss journey/s. Watching your video’s are helping me stay on my “clean” path of eating. Taking the weight off was actually pretty easy for me. My goal was 150 but it just kept coming off. Being in a deficit was the key for me. It’s more of a challenge to maintain my new weight but I think I kind of figured it out with what I had written above about my overall counting calories and I’ll do a 48 hour fast when I feel I need it. Unfortunately with my paralysis I’ve lost muscle over the yrs with my legs. They are skinny so that’s weight loss in them alone. Haha. Like I told Emily, Sarah, you both look great and don’t look like you weigh anywhere near the amount you had said in a recent video.

    It's an addiction. Food will always be an addiction. I don't see me ever being able to forget that. I have to always keep that in mind. I can have a doable relationship but I can't let it control me any more.

    I just did a video on my channel, where I talk about how I've been a fat child to adulthood. I've never experienced being a small individual. I've always been a sweet dessert eater. When I started WW, I was told I don't eat enough. All this is saying, I can't say when nor how, I got fat, because I've always been here 😭😭

    Once an emotional eater its hard to change what your brain tells you. I also meal plan in my head and always think of food. I'm 8 lbs from my goal of 135 and its still a struggle. If it waa easy and keto was so easy evertonr would be skinny.
